Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree - NG+7 Putrescent Knight (ft. Marika's Hammers, No Aux)

First off, absolutely crazy how many attacks whiffed here, especially the jump attack that was on him point blank lol. I see mixed opinions about this boss but honestly I thought this was a great fight and I’d say easily takes the spot for my favorite mounted boss in the game now. I tried this boss for about an hour and a half or so and I liked the fight so much that towards my ending attempts I was also trying to get a pretty decently clean run, and I feel like I did here so I’m happy!😄
As for the fight, he’s got some pretty tricky delays on some of his combos, his duo horse charge attack can be tough to get the timing down at first and the flames too, but with practice all of these attacks felt very fair and manageable to deal with. He’s also got very generous punish windows and the delays are long enough to where you can sneak attacks in, just like you can with Mohg. All in all I’d say in a DLC that has got some pretty crazy complex bosses he’s one of the more “fair” fights to me. I’ve honestly really got nothing but good things to say about this boss. And even outside of gameplay I absolutely love the arena, the design and the music too. Scadutree blessing was at +11 for this fight!
