Hi Mike. Any chance you are going to review the Big Easy from NOLA?
I don't have a set of them yet but I'm sure I'll get to them at some point.
I know you film for a bit, and then go back and grab what you need/want, but your throw makes this fast bag look manageable. The right arc, spin and flatness is what you need to make faster bags manageable, otherwise they become downright daunting to throw. I'm definitely considering this bag.
For me, the only change that I have to make is my release point. I release the bags a little higher for the faster bags. That gives them more loft and they land softer. It's very similar to the release that I would have on a slow bag when I'm trying to throw a block.
Did you used the distilled vinegar on these to break them in?
I don't remember. I use a lot of different break in methods. I'm always trying new products and methods. If I had to guess, it was probably Toss Sauce on these.
These are tough as hell. I just copped a set of them

The REX is an awsome bag. Very hole friendly when broken in. The hybrid/herringbone mix carpet plays great
Do you like the jesters or the swordsman’s better?
I would go with the Jesters. They have a little more flop to them which I prefer.
I just got the Nola Rex and those things are hole magnets too! Between the Rex’s and Jesters which do you prefer?
Rex is faster and more hole friendly imo. Jesters play like a slow 5 and 7.5 on fast side. I was surprised at the speeds after watching this review.
I prefer the Rex but I'm not a fast bag thrower. The Rex are a little more controllable.
