Looks like a great bag choice in a switcholio situation where players that play at different speeds could each make a reasonable compromise. Side note, Mike it would be cool to do a video on board speeds. Not necessarily comparing board manufacturers but seeing how different coatings like UV/PU maybe be quicker or slower.
I've thought about doing different types of board reviews but I just can't make the logistics of it work. Boards are expensive to buy. If I resell them, the shipping is absurd. It takes a lot of space to store them. I just can't make it work right now.
I now have my bags. The bag doesn't feel any faster than a Viper r. If I test it by tipping the board it slides down a bit faster. But when I throw it, it slides the same as the Viper R.
Hey Mike, I got a set of snappers and enjoy how they play. How do the rougarous compare to the snappers? Do you prefer one more than the other? Love your content man.
The Rougarous are a little floppier. The fast side is a touch slower. If I had to pick, I would pick the Rougarous but it's close. Both are fun bags to throw.
Mike, Great review as always! How about the Ultra Freak? I have not seen anything on this bag. The slow side material “looks” like this bag and the speed ratings are similar according to Ultra’s site. I hope you will do a review on this bag. I have the OG Widow R bags and I really like the medium template and the R carpet but just wish the slow side was an 8 speed instead of the 7 speed ( that plays even slower in humid conditions). Maybe this Freak is what I am looking for in this medium template, 5 1/2 -6 speed slow side with hybrid carpet and an 8 speed fast side. If not this bag I am open for suggestions? Thanks
I have not thrown the Freak yet but I have someone who is going to let me borrow a set to review. It will probably be several weeks before I can get them reviewed. My understanding is the Freak uses the same carpet that the Mojo used. That is the same carpet as the Viking. It's a true carpet material and not a hybrid material. It also plays more like a 4, maybe 5 sometimes. I can't tell what the fast side material is. Again, I'm going off of information that I have been told. I haven't seen the bags for myself yet.
I would love to review the Copycats but I'm not willing to pay $165 for a set of bags. There is nothing special or different about their bags that makes them worth that much more. There are plenty of herringbone carpet bags out there that are priced much better.
I don't have one. There are too many variables that I can't control, like board conditions, weather conditions, my opponents play style, etc. I pick my bags based on which ones play best for that game. There isn't one bag that is best for all situations and conditions.
I don't have plans to review the Butterfly bags. I don't like the Butter fast side material so I doubt I would like the Butterfly. I don't want to spend money on a set of bags that I know I'm not going to like. If I can find someone local that has a set I can borrow, then I'll review them.

I ordered mine. Sound like a bag that I need to add to my arsenal.

I definitely like the way they look.
I love my swamp waters and my mud bugs both customs but favorite bags in the line up
Great looking bag, love the sound of the hybrid. Might have to give them a shot, especially at that price point
Got a set and damn these bags are heavy, @16.33oz a bag. After 2 hrs of throwing my arm got tired 😅. It hit the board like a brick.
@@ICheat_ILie_ISteal ahh man I love it lol def wanna try a set!
Been waiting for you to review this one. Looks awesome, I’ll have to give it a shot.

Thanks for the response Mike. I value your opinion and it is so helpful in making decisions on what bags are right for me. Keep up the awesome work!
Can you do cornhole scenario copy cats soon? Plz and thank you for all you do!

So I just joined and want to know what is the number one, that will never fail you bags?

How would you Compare these versus the RougarouX?
I have a review up on the Rougarou X. I do a full break down of that bag. It will give you good idea of the differences between these two bags.
Do you like these NOLA 2.0 more than the KABOOM by swag bags since they have the same speed?
Personally, I like these a little better. These have more flop than the KaBooms and I like that.
They are looser and floppier. There is not a big enough difference in hole friendliness to say one is better than the other.
That slow side similar to the Valkyrie?
No
@@MikesBags appreciate that Mike. Is it fuller than a Valk? I want a puffy bag!
No, it's not puffy.
Need an ultra butterfly’s review.

is these hybrid the same as the elite pro sniper with the hybrid slow side??
No. The Elite Pro Snipers are the same materials as the Viper-R.
