I grew up low income, and now I’m married, we are not low income but frugal because we homestead, have 9 children and I’m at home. We still have to make sacrifices because we chose to have a large family, and yet we are very rich in many ways that are not money related and for that, I’m eternally grateful to God.
We have been married 37 years. We only had 1 car for 20 years. We never got cable TV. 9 kids later and it has been good. My kids are hard workers. It never hurt us to not go on fancy vacations. We piled into a friends RV and brought food from home. We made amazing memories. My kids are very best friends to this day. I'm grateful to God for all the provision along the way. It was worth it to be home with my kids and homeschool. The married kids are also all homeschooling their children. We have 2 left at home. ( Still homeschooling) and we have 12 grandkids.
When my girls were little, one of them asked me, "Are we rich?" My reply was, "Rich is when you have what you need plus a little bit more." My daughter concluded for herself that she was rich.
Very good video! I live in a small country in Europe and here you have to pay 6 times more taxes when you choose to stay at home. But I have 6 kids and want to be with them and help my husband to do his work as a pastor fulltime. So our financial consultant arranged that my husband can legally pay me some from his income for all the work that I do and that way we have to pay less taxes. Also because of our low income we get some childwelfare. Together it is exactly as much as I would get as a teacher (former job) so we are very grateful to the Lord for providing. We are low income but very content with life working in His Kingdom, He is such a good and caring Father 🕊️
Thank you for your honesty and encouragement! I am a SAHM of 3, just found out we are expecting our 4th and I just began homeschooling our oldest. I have had many days wondering if I am cut out for this and if it would be better to send them to public school/daycare in order to help financially. I have seen God working and I am reassured that this is the best for our family. Thank you again.
You know, there are days I wonder those questions too and I've been at this so long! I have to consciously remind myself of the WHY all the time. I am seeing the fruits of so much labor in ways now though, and it's has been worth it so far. God is good, and He is faithful to those who hope in Him.
Daycare and extra car expenses will most likely eat up all of your extra money and might cost more if your tax bracket increases due to higher income. If you are seriously considering it, see if the grandparents can be the daycare and you can work near home part time.
I'm in Australia. We sent our kids to public school. Things have gotten so bad we've had no choice but to send our youngest to private school. The way our finances are structured, I have to work, and he wouldn't accept home-schooling because he had such a bad experience during the lockdowns here. And I don't want to send him to a public school because we've realised the massive problems they have. The private school.isnt perfect but it's miles better. We just find the money somehow. I think for you, it would be false economy to send them to school. You end up paying in other ways.
You made me think of my sweet Momma when you talked about a clean home. I do not know if we were poor or even middle class but I am sure people thought that we were. We always had what we needed and what we wanted on those special occasions. I think back now and realize the sacrifices my Mother must have made for us to have those wants. But she kept a clean and organized home and we were taught that same thing. She would say “You can live in a pig style and still keep it clean.” She grew up in the depression and WWII era. She had 8 brothers and sisters in a 3 bedroom house on a farm. And we grew up on farms. She must have been frugal with her spending but honestly, looking back, I never would have been able to tell. She was a hard worker and life wasn’t always kind to her but she showered us with Love. That made is rich!
2 things....well 3. 1. i love your videos and am so glad i found you ❤ 2. tjmax has cheap dried fruit....way cheaper them Walmart. i go there just to go grocery shopping 😂 3. the kitchen aid mixers can be rebuilt. well I'm not sure about the new ones....i have noticed a major weight difference in the new ones and that tells me the quality is not so good. but mine is 15 years old and i burnt the motor out. not able to afford a new one i was pretty upset. this one was a wedding gift. my wonderful husband started his resurch, determined to fix it for me. he was able to purchase a rebuild kit with all new brushes for the motor. i came home one day with my kitchen aid in peices sprawled out on my kitchen table 😂 he was very considerate to not damage my table....which is all scratched and in horrible shape....and covered it with my nice white bath towels 🤦♀️😂 i didn't say a thing. but he fixed it and it still runs great. don't throw those mixers away. they can be rebuilt.
I LOVE your videos! I work outside of our 1/4acre “homestead”, have 2 boys who attend public school and am blessed beyond measure in my life, in my opinion. My career started when I was 19yo and I’m now 43. I’ve been at the same job since I graduated college, went back to college and became a wife and mother. I’m grateful that this career has been flexible in hours worked so I can adjust as my boys grow. I THRIVE in my kitchen, making homemade meals as often as possible but also have deep passion for my career. I am complete being in both places and God has given me ALL that I have; the gifts of homemaking, mini-homesteading and Cosmetology Management. ❤ 🎉KEEP ON GOING!
Im a senior now. I've always been low income, closer to the poverty line actually, and always rented. I still feel I lived a rich life surrounded by beautiful things. Money doesn't always mean good taste.
I don't know how your channel ended up on my feed. I scrolled past it. Something told me to go back and click on it. I don't believe in coincidence. I believe the Holy Spirit directed me to you. I was fortunate. I grew up in a loving single provider family. My father worked, and my mother stayed home and raised the family. Sometimes, things change. I am in that season at this time in my life. I watched your channel for a reason, and your words have brought me hope in these times when I feel it is good vs. evil. I continue to pray and ask God to draw each of us to Him. For those to be revealed in hopes they get right with God. Very challenging times. Thank you for your channel. I have subscribed and look forward to hearing what you can share with us. Thank you, and God bless 🙏🙌🙏
I have been married 53 years. Retired RN . Mother and Grandmother. Yes I have done it all.. My homestate is WV. Lived in Michigan. Now in Amish Country OH, . It is so beautiful here. Take Care and God Bless !
I’m loving all of your new content. It feels like you’ve finally found your groove and honed in on it. It’s so hard to live on a lower income. I’m seasoned at 52, but you always give me great ideas. And I love that you bring scripture into everything as a direct path to walk. I too was burned badly by my church. It’s hard to not be shy about getting back onto the saddle. Your words of wisdom and encouragement always tend to guide me in a good direction. Thank you!!
Amen Sister! 25 year SAHM and HSing parent of 2. Thanks to our Father in Heaven and my hardworking husband. I count my blessings on a regular basis when I see the fruit of our labors.
I agree on so many points. I stay at home and my husband and I talked about it before we were even engaged. When you eliminate all the extra expenses like cable, door dash, beauty treatments it is much easier. My house is also almost completely thrifted. I try not to buy anything plastic that will eventually break, or wear out. We don't shop cheap target decor etc. I also love vintage and antique. I just bought a beautiful vintage solid oak table that seats eight for a whopping $24.00. I think mindset is mandatory. When you feel entitled to have the newest and best, you are going to be miserable. I tell my son all the time when we go thrifting how much something would be in a store versus what we are getting it for. Even when I take him to a regular store and volunteer to get him something he ( a fifteen year old) will tell me no it's too much and he doesn't need it. I think we just have to remember also, we aren't taking any of this stuff with us when we pass on to heaven. I also find great things that I don't want and buy them to re-sell. We also need to be fully aware of the companies we are supporting and their agendas.
I appreciate you ! I am a stay at home mom and I homeschool. In order for me to be at home it has taken sacrifice and doing without. But the benefits greatly out weight the negative. Blessing to all that take this road less traveled and are on this journey🙏
Unfortunately, I have to work outside the home. It would be a blessing to stay at home. Some ways to save $$$ is canning, gardening, growing your own herbs, thrifting, making your own cleaning products, yardsales. We've redone furniture with paint & elbow grease. Most of the time, they are better made that what we can afford. Keep on keeping on. Support one another.
This channel has been such a blessing since I stumbled upon it a couple years ago! You have validated so much of what I've battled since becoming a sahm and cleared up SO many misconceptions that I had on what it actually means to be a biblical wife and mother. I'm so thankful for this ministry and all the God given wisdom you share♥️
Your home is gorgeous. I hear what you saying that you are Living low income, but your quality of life is looking awesome, because, thank God, you know how to be a creative homemaker. It is certainly and art. We are on a fixed income as aging folks, we work to make ends meet, stretch the groceries, and be creative. I hope your videos are influential to others living low income. God Bless you🙏🩷
Thank you for this video and encouragement! We purchased our home & acreage and are working towards building our homestead. Our house is not finished and we’re living in it as e we rebuild. We thought the repairs would be minor and fast, but we are all still sleeping together in the “living room/dining room area” as we work to reconstruct everything. Organization is definitely a MUST & cleaning imperative. Patience is, also, a huge requirement in this journey as well. I’m a homemaker while my husband works full time. We have our own small business that is only in operation a couple of months out of the year. I’m a first time homeschooler; just started preschool this fall. We are currently driving over an hour away to my parents house to shower and occasionally do laundry. I was most of our laundry by hand without a wringer (we ordered one that never came), and we line dry. Honestly, I love it! It’s hard work and I don’t always get to do what I want, but I’m learning how to balance what must be done with what we’d like to do. Sometimes it’s just a matter of scheduling things. I bought a notebook from the grocery store when everything was on sale for back to school and started using it as a brain dump/journal/planner. I don’t always get to write in it, but it is such a helpful tool I gleaned from you in another video. Thank you, for taking the time to put these videos out here for all of us Mamas to use and grab hold of for resources, reminders, and encouragement! God’s Blessings don’t look very nice to those who live by the world’s standards. However, this is the most Abundant Life I’ve ever experienced and I praise His Name often for it, especially when it’s the hardest to be patient, organized, etc. God Bless you and yours!
I was a stay-at-home mom for my two girls and I wouldn’t have traded one minute of it. Time goes by so quickly….I catch myself wishing for those days sometimes. The sacrifices were worth it. You are doing godly work. By the way, your kitchen is beautiful.
Amen! I jump out occasionally to do some hair. So tomorrow I’m doing hair for a wedding that’s on somebody’s back porch after I do a facial, but I primarily work one day a week the rest of the time I am home with my family and my 10 children. It’s important I think to get out have adult conversations. Remember that you have God-given skills that can be a real blessing to the community. I’ve met the most wonderful people as a cosmetologist. I love to be home the most, and I’m happy to do that, but I’m not afraid to jump out and help, especially in the ebbs and flows of our family life/economy/whatever’s going on. It’s best not to judge. Unfortunately I have seen a lot of judgment in the homeschool and community over the years.
i have been a stay at home mom for 5 years with 4 kids … it has been the hardest years of my life! I preferred going back to work for a mental break! i was not christian at that time, we had no money issues, we wanted that lifestyle but I could not sustain it at the end. it is hard to raise kids and feeling that we have no breaks, no weekend … TH-cam was just starting at that time, I think it would have helped me to share with other homesteader mothers or get inspired by channels like yours. All that to say that you are so good! your kitchen is beautiful :)
I can't thank you enough .. and thank God enough. I have lived with so much guilt because my health has really cost my family . But I have a wonderful husband and wonderful children . It's hard for me to keep anything up . Our home is very small but you have made me go back to being thankful
Oh my goodness! That’s how we got our kitchen too! It’s old now. Over a decade old. But someone wanted to rid their pretty good conditioned good quality kitchen from the nice big home they just bought. They did kitchen for a living and wanted to showcase one in their new home. Hence sold their come-with-the-house kitchen to us for a very affordable price. Then my father-in-law gutted the old 60s kitchen from the home we bought and reconfigured everything to make the new kitchen fit in the given space. 😊 we were and still are so thankful! ~mandy
Always look forward to your videos! It's like visiting with a good friend. Do you ever think about how you become a household name for some of us? I often say, "Oh, Shayla said this" or "has this cool hack or said their chickens did better when they did _____". Thanks for sticking around and brightening our days. Your videos often give encouragement in a heavy world. Wishing you many blessings!
I enjoy thrifting. I am 56 and I have thrifted since I was 18. People get rid of a lot and you can find good things. I also donate and then I buy things used. So it is like recycling. Also when it comes to food I shop the store adds and markdowns. Or store that have some things past due. That is just the stores best buy date but many of it is still good. you can freeze things. No matter what income level a person is if you want to save money you can. You can have a nice home and not be high income. God bless you. You have a lovely home
Such a great video! We have a toddler and a newborn in a little one bedroom apartment and it is often so hard to be content seeing the pretty, spacious homes on social media. I love your videos because I can enjoy your beautiful home and dream of my own, and still be reminded to be content with where God has us in life. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing this, Olivia, and for being here. I'm so glad to hear that even though we are at different stages that I'm able to help. That is my prayer!
I am proud of you. When the main living space is the living room we have to be creative in how to handle constant stimulation, or how to calm things down. I will keep you in my prayers.
Many things you said in this video resonate with me. My husband speaks like this too. He often reminds us we are richer than most people on earth. And our wealth in North America is built on the back of those who are poor all over the world. We only have half of the number of children you do; we both agree and believe how important a wife and Mother’s job is at home. What company is more precious and important than our family and our home? I love my job - full time homemaker. I love to thrift and find ways to make my home lovely without spending wads and wads of money. Not always like that though because i didn’t know about many of the things I know now. Still learning. 😊 ~mandy
I love this and your outlook on life! I had a stand mixer, I think it was Hamilton Beach but not sure, that I bought at an estate sale. I used it for over 25 years before it finally went kaput. Everyone I knew had a KitchenAide mixer, so that was what I was shopping for Neither my husband nor I could pick it up! That wouldn’t do as it was not going to sit on the counter. I bought a FarberWare and after doing some research, discovered they are made by the same company! I am one happy homemaker. I am 72, retired, and have been married for 52 years. I worked outside of the home until 8 years ago, and am now finding such joy in being the Keeper of my Home and discovering channels such as yours. Thank you and love from Texas ❤
Wow! Im glad I found you. I raised 5 children for the last 25 years. Its only been in the last three years that we were not low income. I can't stress enough how important one parent be at home for children.
This was so refreshing to my spirit. I appreciate you so much ! I’m in a midlife meltdown (so bad that my health is collapsing my job even tho it’s work from home is extremely stressful)- this video really brought me peace and hope again. It truly is in our perspective isn’t it. ❤
So glad I found you. Thank you for your balanced perspective. God called me to be a veterinarian (from the age of 3), in addition to my passion for being a wife, mother, and homemaker. It has not been easy. Your kindness and grace towards women in all paths is a balm to my soul. Thank you.
So many great tips! Many of them we implement as well. We aren't low income, but money is still tight. We have two growing boys that EAT! We are also paying off some debt. Our bathrooms need to be renovated, but we keep them clean and do what we can to make them look nice. We also have some windows that need to be updated. We do what we can when we can! You are such an encouragement! God bless!
Wow!! I just watched this video bc it came across my feed and I'm blown away by your content!! This video is magnificent and I'm so excited to dive into more of what your channel has to offer ❤
I just found your channel and this is the first video that I have seen. I agree with you whole heartedly. If a mother can be at home with her children and actually raise her children, she should be. If more families would depend on God we would see a change in this world. I also understand there are mothers that have to work outside the home in order to survive. I was one of those women. I divorced when my son was four years old due to my then husband cheating on me and being abusive to me. He never kept child support paid and I had to work in order to feed my son. Today, my son is married and has three babies of his own. He works hard so his wife can stay home with the children. Keep doing what you are doing and God will continue to bless you.
This was such a great video. Ty Shayla. Your home is beautiful. Ty for sharing scripture to back it up. I think I'm richest when I have Gods peace in my life. Nothing like the peace that only God gives. Be blessed.
Thank you, and you are on to something, Carol. The verse Psalm 27:4 comes to mind when you say that. "One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple." That verse always makes me misty eyed.
Thank you for this video, it's refreshing to hear an honest voice about low income struggles while learning to be content and realizing the wealth we already possess. I am a mom at home in a small house with my 4 tear old and my newborn. I am always encouraged by your videos. I was homeschooled as a child along with my sisters and believe it was the best education anyone could have. Its alot of hard work but worth it in the long run. I am now preparing to homeschool my 4 year old daughter and excited for her journey but also nervous to stay organized. Thabkful for all the support out there for homeschoolers now. It wasn't that way when I was homeschooled. Thank you for your encouragement towards homeschoolers also.
One of the best blessings that I have found that a stay at home mom can do is learn how to budget. Plan your sinking funds, plan for an emergency fund and a car maintenance fund for emergencies (try and keep at $1000)
Wow, I was impressed by your video and your statements. I agree that there is a lot of judgment out there regarding moms who work or who do not work. I believe we have to do what is right for our families. Every family dynamic is different. I have been blessed to have been a stay-at-home mom for the majority of my kids' lives. There was a time when I worked part-time from home while my kids were in school. I loved every moment I had with my kids. My sister, on the other hand, did not have that opportunity due to an ugly divorce. She actually worked several jobs to make ends meet. Therefore, every situation is different, and we should make the right decisions for our families and not be affected by the world's view of how a family should run. Thank you for sharing, I really like your videos. And by the way, I saw you had a huge zucchini in your video. A great recipe if you like meat. Cut it into 1-inch slices, clean the inside out, and put it in a bowl while putting the zucchini slices on a baking sheet. For my family of 4, I use 1.5lbs of ground pork, add it to the bowl with the zucchini, and add minced onion, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. I mix it and fill the zucchini slices. In that same baking tray, I add cubed potatoes and onion, salt, pepper, rosemary, and any other seasonings, some shredded cheese, bake at 400 for about 40 min until done, and dinner can be served. This tastes better with the big zucchini.
Thank you for all you shared here. I am not a house wife. I am a domestic goddess. My Mr labeled me as that. Never “just a homemaker either. That is even on out IRS forms.. this is a lovely home and you are as well. Being a homemaker is not to be disrespected, we are thrilled with me being home. My youngest is 34….LOL my son that has autism and he is still at home. He turns 37 this week. We have lived a great life. GOD is so good!!
Thank you for talking about us that need to work as well as be home makers… it’s very hard, and I try not to get discouraged when watching videos and thinking “wish I could do that but just don’t have the time because I have to work”
Thank you for this video it helped me so much today. I look forward to your videos and they always inspire me. Thank you for helping me learn to be content with my little home😊
One tip too is if you can afford it, look into a costco membership. Reason is, they have a policy that you can return ANYTHING for any or no reason. So we have switched recently to buying small - medium appliances, knowing no matter what, they will probably break soon after the warranty is up, but we can still return for full refund and flip that into a replacement.
I pulled my oldest (of 4) out of school when she was 10 years old / 5th grade. (1992!) At that time, home schooling was illegal in the State of Michigan! Talk about going "against the system"! If you love the '70's, you'd love my livingroom! My oldest daughter's boss (in 2017) had a brand new, complete set of furniture in their finished basement that had been sitting, unused since the *70's* !!! It has a large wooden frame, boucle' fabric in rust, trimmed in brass tacks and it is fabulous in its 70's vibe! Of course, we are decorated for Fall all year 'round lol!
I bet I would love your living room! Thank you for your comment. Yes, many people today don't know that homeschooling hasn't always been legal here in the USA.
You mentioned working part time from 3am to 6am? Are you willing to share what type of work? I've been struggling to find something I can do during similar hours?
This is the first time I’ve sat through an entire video of someone’s in a long time. This was wonderful. I’m a new subscriber. Thank you! Could you put out a video on organization for a large family in a small home? My biggest issue with staying “clean” in the home is being tidy. We have pretty much only needs, nothing extra, and it’s SO difficult to find a place for everything in our small space.
I think your home is beautiful. I love the way you've made more space with the refrigerator shelves. Thinking I might do the same since I have a tiny kitchen. And your tea display is awesome.
🫶🏼🙏🏼🥰Hi I just found you today! I love how u say a keeper of the home awwww that’s such beautiful wording 🩷… you blessed my soul today …. Many blessing to you as well 😊
these are great advice and teachings. this is the first time i'm seeing your video. I will listen some more. I am getting tired of working so hard and want to be more present for my child, his homeschooling. but I have one debt left to work on. I dont own a home yet so that is the goal to purchase a home I can do some homesteading on and then if there's ever an opening for part time, I would like to work part time. right now I am full time and 3/4 mom depending how I work my day around my child with my spouse. anyhow, I will listen to some more of your videos to get more creative ideas, too.
My mom has always hung curtains from spring rods to block ugly places. For example, the furnace area in the laundry room (keep in mind fire hazards tho! Don’t hang fabric too close to hot places 😄)
I dream of getting to a Proverbs 31 woman with real estate snd business! Or even just to have a small craft business like Lydia! But love your videos helping me get our home and school in better bloom. ❤
I appreciate how blunt you are this whole time, very straightforward and feeding us scripture as a light to our paths. I suppose it's time I picked up the paint for my kitchen I've been planning to do for the last 5 years 😂
Hello, I am new here ☺️ thank you for being obedient and following the Lord. You have a beautiful home and perception. I am in a completely different situation in my life and gleamed a lot from your video. God bless you ❤
Hello 👋 I just found your channel 😊 I agree with everything you have said in this video. And can I just say you have a beautiful kitchen. I absolutely love it . I've been with my husband for over 30yrs we've been married for 25yrs. And we have a daughter who will be 30 next year and our son is 26. Our son has 2 young kids 4 & 2 making us grandparents at a young age I'm in my late 40's and my husband is in his early 50's. We are low income and our son, daughter inlaw, & the grandkids live with us.

What a testimony. I loved reading this. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for sharing this: we don’t need to go on fancy vacations. We can improvise & create precious memories.
When my girls were little, one of them asked me, "Are we rich?" My reply was, "Rich is when you have what you need plus a little bit more." My daughter concluded for herself that she was rich.
It took me 22 years to finally get my home the way I wanted it and I was a single mom, and purchased it at the age of 45
That makes me so happy to hear!! We had to wait along time to be homeowners too but we never gave up!

Praise the Lord!
Thanks for sharing!
Working for the Kingdom is an amazing thing! 💖
As long as we remember that God demands obedience before sacrifice, we will be ok.
Thank you for your honesty and encouragement! I am a SAHM of 3, just found out we are expecting our 4th and I just began homeschooling our oldest. Daycare is extremely expensive now.
She would say “You can live in a pig style and still keep it clean.”
She grew up in the depression and WWII era.
I stayed at home with my kids. We did without things but it was the best thing we ever did!
So happy for you!!! Each season of our lives is amazing.
Now in Amish Country OH,
. It is so beautiful here. Take Care and God Bless !
Your unfinished/imperfect kitchen is my dream kitchen Sheila ❤ I already commented that it is unique
Thank you, Lora!
@@mountainmamashomemine too. I love your kitchen
Thank you!!
Hello, and thank you for sharing this!
It’s a walk of faith for sure! I’ve found that if I try my best to be a good steward of what we have, the Lord provides upgrades in due time.
I'm a 26 year old mom of 4 and I just want to say you inspire me
Awe, thank you for telling me. Have a beautiful week!
I appreciate you !
I am a stay at home mom and I homeschool. In order for me to be at home it has taken sacrifice and doing without. But the benefits greatly out weight the negative.
Blessing to all that take this road less traveled and are on this journey🙏
Thank you, and yes, Blessings to those on this journey for sure!
I really enjoyed this video! 1st time here. I'm a single, working, home educating mom of 4 (7 total). Love the inserts of scripture!❤️
I'm so glad that you enjoyed the video! Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to comment, I appreciate it!
~mandy
Just found this channel and I love it ! It has taken me the same 25 years to have a wonderful kitchen with a nice stove and wooden large countertop
Awe, this made me laugh with joy and warmed my heart so much to hear. No, I had not really realized this! Thank you for telling me! God Bless!
@@mountainmamashome ❤️
@@starkittenarts thank you!
You’re such a light! I’m so glad this video is reaching so many!
Thank you so much for the kind words!
Probably the most encouraging channel in my feed right now. Thank you!
Wow, thank you! That is huge!
Midlife is SO HARD. I'll be talking more about this soon.
So glad I found you. Thank you for your balanced perspective. God called me to be a veterinarian (from the age of 3), in addition to my passion for being a wife, mother, and homemaker. It has not been easy. Your kindness and grace towards women in all paths is a balm to my soul. Thank you.
Your kitchen is so nice light and bright!
It really is! Thank you!
This video was a blessing! Thank you! ❤❤❤
You are so welcome!
God bless!
Thank you for sharing!!
Omg Shayla! Such a heartwarming video.
You are doing the Lord’s work. Thank you for your positive, encouraging channel. 🙏🏽😊
I love your style and the advice you give, thank you.
Thanks, Shayla! This was one of your best. I really needed some of these reminders!
You're so welcome!
Wow!! I just watched this video bc it came across my feed and I'm blown away by your content!! This video is magnificent and I'm so excited to dive into more of what your channel has to offer ❤
Wow, thank you so much! And welcome to my channel!
You capture the nuance so beautifully. Thank you for this encouragement!
"One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple."
That verse always makes me misty eyed.
Just clicked on, and what in the world are you making?! I looks like something divine.❤
You are welcome, thank you for this beautiful comment!
This was really helpful and encouraging. Thank you. 🙏
You are so welcome!
One of the best blessings that I have found that a stay at home mom can do is learn how to budget. Plan your sinking funds, plan for an emergency fund and a car maintenance fund for emergencies (try and keep at $1000)
I homeschool, but drive school bus. I am gone for 1.5 hours in the morning before my kids get up and 1 hour in the afternoon.
So encouraging. Such good wisdom. Thank you for sharing your journey and the realistic situation that most of us are in. Love your channel.
Thank you so much for your kind words, I truly appreciate it!
I admire you. I wish my situation could be so that I could be the mother God intended. I agree with everything you have said.
I love your kitchen - it looks homy and functional at the same time
I recently heard that there may be a tax break for families that are educating at home! I hope that will come to fruition!!!
Love your voice, your message, and your encouragement. I found hope and joy, humility, and gratitude in it. God bless you and your family.
Thank you so much ♥
I love your page ❤ I’m glad it popped up! You put many things into perspective with GOD in mind. Thank you for sharing ❤
Thank you so much!
Enough is as good as a feast❤❤❤😊
☝️☝️☝️☝️so true
I have been watching your videos and must tell you your kitchen looks really good now it is finished. keep up the good work.
That is awesome, I always called it domestic engineer, lol!
Absolutely love your kitchen
Thank you for talking about us that need to work as well as be home makers… it’s very hard, and I try not to get discouraged when watching videos and thinking “wish I could do that but just don’t have the time because I have to work”
Do you have a link to the racks hanging on your fridge? I love them! I am assuming they are magnetic?
Thank you for this video it helped me so much today. I look forward to your videos and they always inspire me. Thank you for helping me learn to be content with my little home😊
Awe, thank you for letting me know! So glad it helped.
I love Costco! This is a great tip, thank you for covering it for others!
Another amazing video! Thank you so much for the encouragement and inspiration. Much love to you and your family! ❤
You are so welcome! Thank you for watching!
Thank you for this message! Boy this hit home..Great reminder, in todays world, we need messages like this one.. Love this ❤❤
You are so welcome, thank you so much for taking the time to watch!
you have a lot of wisdom my sister! God bless you and your family and I love your kitchen!
Thank you so much, I truly appreciate the kind words. May God bless you and your family too!
Hi Shayla! you're doing great. I love your kitchen! Keep pushing. You got this!🥰
Thank you so much 🤗!
I am longing for a kitchen aid. Did you get it thrifted?
Love your video!
So in the morning do you leave for your part time job or do you work from home?
I work from home. 🙂 I believe this is ideal if one must work while mothering.
I absolutely loved this video. Thank you!🩷
You are so welcome!
Thank you! I thougt another video about homemaking.. But you talking about what is soo important. Women can be at home but still have independence! 🌷
You are so welcome!
Hello and Welcome! Yes, I have a lot of tips I can share on this, I'm writing it down to create right now.
@@mountainmamashome That is so kind of you, thank you so much!
I think your home is beautiful. I love the way you've made more space with the refrigerator shelves. Thinking I might do the same since I have a tiny kitchen. And your tea display is awesome.
Thank you so much, Penny!
Thank you for all the encouragement you provide ❤
Great message! Thank you!
You are so welcome!
🫶🏼🙏🏼🥰Hi I just found you today! I love how u say a keeper of the home awwww that’s such beautiful wording 🩷… you blessed my soul today …. Many blessing to you as well 😊
Sorry sis, I am the thrift queen. My husband calls me that almost daily. I'm glad I'm in good company. ❤
To funny! It sounds like we could have a blast shopping together 😂
these are great advice and teachings. this is the first time i'm seeing your video.
Thank you 😊!
I really enjoyed this video. We homeschool and have a lived on 1 income most of our marriage.
I appreciate how blunt you are this whole time, very straightforward and feeding us scripture as a light to our paths. I suppose it's time I picked up the paint for my kitchen I've been planning to do for the last 5 years 😂
I'm glad you appreciated the video, thank you so much for watching!
This was encouraging. Thank you.
You are welcome.
Hello,
I am new here ☺️ thank you for being obedient and following the Lord.
Thanks for sharing, I love hearing how families thrive and prosper despite their income, what a testimony!
HOW BEAUTIFUL!!!! Thank Q~
Great honesty ❤
Enjoyed your video! Beautiful kitchen. Beautiful person.
Really good video. Love it. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
