Matt - What you showed at the beginning is what pulley taps are for. Extra long taps to get through the pulley to the lock screw. Still available today from many manufacturers in many sizes.
This has been such an awesome project for you to work on. I had one of those that I junked out a few years ago. Really didn’t have any place for it. It laid outside in the weather for a while and I finally decided to get rid of it. After following along in this series, I now wish I would have kept it. Could have put it in the Quonset building and had a little mini shop out there. Too late now!
I believe that both styles of those oilers are available from Model T Ford parts houses. I'm the one with the boring videos. i'm having a blast seeing what pops up on this restoration.
Coming along.. always nice to have books to look at. I've also had a lot of camel back videos come across my feed since you started the series. Might find a few answers there too. Looking good!!!
Thanks Ed. I have been watching quite a few Camel Back videos. One viewer contacted me to show one he had just purchased. It's rough but he's going to restore it.

Thanks for sharing that!
The pulley and shaft clearance is looking great Matt. That electrolysis tank really makes an impact on removing the rust and crude
I tell you Lloyd, that tank has saved me a ton of work.
Thank You Matt, another great Part of the press revival, awesome progress made
Many thanks Jan!
Yep they sure did make some pretty neat looking equipment back in the day.
This beast amazes me. Thanks Vino!

Nice work on the 2 pulleys. They look good as new. That slop doesn't look too good though. Look forward to the next one. Be safe and stay well.
Thanks Brian!

it's not boring but I was getting all set so see how babbating was done.
Haven’t completely ruled out babbitting yet. I’ll see how it runs and then decide from there. Thanks Vernon!
