I see that you are running E43. What map are you using for that amount of ethanol? And what would you recommend for e30 mix? I've tried map 5 and feel WHOLE LOT of more power but only for short time because I was unsure. Currently at E30 + Map 2. Would appreciate your advice. Thank you.
Hey there nice video! Just got my JB4 installed in my 22' M340i and to me, what AFR are you running during WOT?! E30 mix with Burger cold air and AWE exhaust my AFR was 14:1 to me seems way too lean to boosted. Any idea on this or is this normal for Direct Injection engine.. what AFR during your pulls were you running?!
Thanks! I get around the same values, maybe a bit lower running 93 on map 6. JB4 can’t read e values unless your running an ethanol sensor and white wire to the jb4 so values may not be true running E. Run a log and send it to jb4. Email and instructions are on the webpage. They’ll help out a lot.
@@justj3rry thank you replying back to this. I sent a log to JB4 in 3rd gear wot and they said it's normal. I can't see how 14.1 AFR on a boosted motor is normal! I can try running map 6 with 93 octane like you said see how it does

Check engine will always pop up unless you get a proper tune. You can clear the code with Jb4 every time it pops up but it won’t keep it from happening.

BMW can definably detect piggybacks even if you remove them and will definitely decline your warranty claim if its related to.

Running custom map on jb4 with E40 blend. Regular 93 I run map 3.

I like JB+ more than JB4, I want to get in my car and drive without needing to worry about an app and making sure my piggyback is turned on.
App is for adjustment. Jb4 is plugged into sensors. It’s always on unless disconnected.

Check engine will always pop up unless you get a proper tune. You can clear the code with Jb4 every time it pops up but it won’t keep it from happening.

I have to plug in to get a sticker, should I avoid a catless dp so not to throw codes? Or can it pass with all monitors set still on a catless?
Catless will always throw check engine light if not tuned. If tuned just disable cat check.
Can’t that be detected when they plug in that it’s disabled?
How is JB4 holding up was it reliable for you?
Jb4 is good but I’ll always recommend a real tune if you can go that route.

Jb4 doesn’t need mhd unless your using jb4 with a tune. Yes you need the Bluetooth adapter to use your phone.
