Even my team was frustrated - we had to setup a "dummy email" account just to send out emails so we wouldn't have to send from our personal email accounts. What magic is this?! Thank you so much for sharing what you learned. Problem solved. Just a note that the DNS settings have to be updated wherever your site is hosted (in my case, it wasn't Google). Other than that, following the steps in this video fixed this very annoying issue that just started cropping up. THANK YOU!

but you need to pay for google admin or the google workspace. I just have a gmail account and it is blocking the emails as spam and saying I reached my email send limit.

Thanks for this info. I have the same problem as you and others did regarding unauthenticated mail forcing blocks by Google. Your solution does not work for me as I do not have a Google Domain. My small business must sometimes email clients having gmail accounts. Then those messages are blocked and failed. I have no Google Domain page to go to in the manner you describe. I'm still stuck. On Google Domains under the Default Name Server tab where we made the changes it says “Your domain isn’t using these settings” do I need to select the “Switch to these settings” button for this to work?
Honestly I’m not sure where you are finding that, I would try to switch it and see what happens without knowing what your screen looks like it would be hard to help! I’m sorry if that doesn’t help!
hi, so far i can't apply your changes as im using a custom nameserver instead of the default nameserver. to use your method, i would have to use the detault nameserver. is there a workaround for this?
Hey Guys!! I just wanted to point out, changing the DNS settings deactivated my website!! if you have a website connected you need to ADD these settings alongside the ones that are there and NOT change them. I have spent the morning adding the original DNS settings back, alongside the ones I changed. Now all back up and running. Just so you know for future! but thanks again!!

Are you using gmail to send emails? Or how are you sending emails to your clients?
What are you using? Wix is my domain manager and I used this info in the same manner on my Wix DNS records. It worked.
