Agreed bad things do happen in a hurry
Plastic cone slips over the rod end for installing the end caps
I figured that's what it's for, the kit must be somewhat universal then because it doesn't fit over the end of that rod. It's a non OEM kit, over the years I've seen those loaders be hit and miss if it works for your application.
