    I got these mounts for our trip to Europe in addition to bringing both the insta360 selfie stick and the Ulanzi MT-16 (I watch your channel a lot) and it worked like a dream. There was even one point where for some reason, I had to check in the Ulanzi and no the insta360 stick. The security guard started to unscrew my gopro but I told him they popped right off and I could tell he thought it was cool but didn't say anything.

    Works great for any kind of clip / jaw mounts + chest mount + neck mount + hand tripod. Helps get some different perspectives fast!
    My gear setup is a clip / jaw mount attached to my backpack strap + a hand tripod of some kind + maybe a neck mount. Just grab the GoPro from the backpack strap and slap it on the neck mount, boom! Grab the GoPro from the neck mount and slap on the hand tripod and booom!
    Too bad this does not work with my iohem isteady4 gimbal but otherwise it’s wonderful…

    I have the note expensive Ulanzi Hummingbird aluminum quick release for my Insta360 One X2. I don't see it in the shot when reframing the view to look straight down. The cool thing is there's 2 ways to mount the quick release base....either 1. Screw it to the Insta360 selfie stick via the ¼-20 threaded hole or 2. Flip down the finger style GoPro feet and attach it with the thumb screw

    Great job on the video David! Thanks for making it. I don't know that I've ever actually used official GoPro mounting system. Both mine immediately went into a Smallrig cage. 1/4x20 is the way to go. I have a DIY QD system that uses a combination of RAM mounts and amazon replica Manfrotto heads. I can quick-detach just about anything, but that Ulanzi system looks like it would sure be a lot lighter.

You may not even know what that is, being you weren't born yet. My wedding videos were top of the line for the time. To this day, my screensaver is the NewTek Video Toaster logo. Anyway, if NAB is even close to what it used to be, you will be drooling from the time you walk in the door. Have fun!

    I love Ulanzi gear, they make such high quality products. I use their F38 quick release system, I have it on all my cameras and on my DJI Osmo Action,not sure why they would release another system like this where I feel that the F38 is is a much more versatile solution. Great video as always David.

    • @DavidManningvlog
      @DavidManningvlog  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it’s a price point issue. I actually just saw on Ulanzi’s site that they have a bunch of F22 mounts for action cameras! I love their F38/F22 quick release system and I just hit them up to get my hands on that gear. BUT the F22 and F38 system are much more expensive than the GO Quick II system, so it makes sense for them to have mounts at different price points I think

      the magnet itself - the thin metal coating flakes and rusts. again it’s a great idea, maybe this version 2?? is better. i got this thing like 2 years ago i think. it didn’t take long for the rust and then for the locking system to get loose. would be good for you to do a 6 month follow-up.

    Generally confused by all of Ulanzi quick release systems. Hummingbird, Falcam, Claw, Go Quick. Some of these options are also the gen 2.0 version. All seem compatible with action cams one way or the other but which it best?

    • @DavidManningvlog
