RARELY are 1000 rounds going to destroy any armor. Rarely will 3000 rounds hurt any armor. Also very rarely armor will survive 3 drone strikes. AFU is delivering a mortar round without training 3 men in the pit, but on controllers, and command. The drone operators are more precise and effective with each round, and less subject to return fire. Net result, lower cost. Lower casualties for similar to lower costs, and less resistance to the training. That is most of these 19 year old drone ops have used controllers for 10 years, unlike rifles and explosives. Infliction of much higher damage on the opponent, and a much higher sense of danger, and drag on moral for the enemy. Oddly, the younger the enemy, the more they are certain a drone is a huge danger.
