- Piano Duet Version / Composed by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov / Performed by Satoshi Amaname (Recorded by Dubbing)
This piano duet version of "Scheherazade", a symphonic suite after A Thousand and One Nights, was arranged by the composer himself.
For this recording, I have made some alterations on this score by reference to the orchestral work. - เพลง
I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this. YEARS ago, on a reel to reel tape from the 60s we purchased Stokowski's Phase Four recording of Scheherazade. And I have explored his and other recordings for this work. I have Stokie's 1927, 1934, 1964, and now your piano four hands. All of these recordings give me goosebumps every time I hear them.
You have made an elegant performance. How you ever were able to do the dubs seemingly without flaw, I am in awe.
Wow....this was such a great idea. Makes me wish I had a player piano with this score. Incredibly beautiful music. Rents my soul every single time I hear it...especially the orchestral versions.
I swear I can hear the whole orchestra!
So beautiful!

measure 197 needs to be E natural -F natural trill after two bars of E natural to F sharp trill.
The thief of baghdad
Beautiful melody but this arrangements it far too monotonous. Rimsky-Korsakov has disappointed me in the arrangement.
I doubt he wanted it played this way. He (likely) wrote out the score for 4 hands before properly rewriting it for orchestra.
Was soll diese völlig unbrauchbare weil asynchrone Darstellung? Bullshit!
