Kush is awesome at defense, just use them at walls. Plus, what most people dont know is that the Desert Factions are the only defenders that get catapult/onager units.
@St. Petersberg Well then you'll just have to use the best GC archers (Kush Royal) to defend your men. If you're playing Kush, you're going to beat any GC faction in an archer duel.

I know it's a bit late but well done for holding against Rome at the broken wall. I thought it was suicide especially when I saw a sallusid force trying to flank you but you dealt with that for just long enough for Kush to arrive. Well played!

With the right strategy, attackers would have won. If they coordinated they would have overwhelmed the defenders, the attackers wasted a lot of men with pointless attacks.

It's excellent how the defenders had almost a thousand men less than the attackers, AND the attackers had more elite factions than the defenders' factions, And still beat the attackers. Literally an underdog's tale.
They should add buildings that guerrilla units could hide in. Enemies springing out of buildings after you've already caused a massive retreat and think you're safe would add a new element .
The Roman attackers just pushed too hard without their allies too soon. They had too much confidence in the reputation of the Romans in the game. The main end game factor was that calv charge by the defenders. They spent so much time and troops trying to take that wall they had nothing left and didn't expect them. Speaking of calv. They turned that one at the gate into a pin cushion. It reminded me of that arrow scene from American gods I believe.
I have to ask apollo did they watch your best attack faction in Rome 2 video I highly recommend it but I just wanted to know and keep up the great work. Im no knocking you down but maybe do some napoleon or empire to kind of mix it up and war of rights maybe. Just keep up the good work and content.

I feel if the Roman players brought some artillery and took their time, they could have won. Problem is a lot of people don’t know how to use the Roman faction. Most people think they can just charge in with Rome and win. You have to use tactics and have a game plan. Roman faction can be deadly if you know what you are doing.
Hi Pixie I just came from your latest TW: Warhammer vid, and I have some tips to help with the frame rate if you want them. Turn off weather effects Turn off animated character portraits Never bring too many flying units (the constant flapping of the wings ruins framerate) There are also some great mods that really help. I remember a mod that replaced the skybox with a lower quality version, this helped. Another mod that really helped was one that changed all magic and ability visual effects. It made the effects smaller and slightly lower quality, but improved the framerate far more than changing any of the actual in game settings. Sorry I can’t remember any of the mod names, but I hope this helps if you see it.

i still want to see a siege battle where the attackers have to start from bouts but have ladders and a battering ram on land but can't do anything until the people on the boats have landed, basically a beach landing that leads in to a siege

Got them both on Steam my question is where do I find or how do I get the different mods for Attila and Total War rome 2? For Attila I was kind of hoping for the Game of Thrones mod and I wanted the Lord of the Rings mod with Helm's Deep Castle I always see on your Channel.
You never saw IT ;) cities don't have gender in English. And I don 't know brother xD I am playing through a lot of campaigns recently and am seeing waaay too much of the same settlments. I think I'll look into mods to add some variety.

Apollo has a proven track record of missing Macedonian cavalry charges.

The game was indeed 'meh' at launch but was patched and perfected and imo now its very good

It is very easy to kill enemy archers that utilize buildings unfortunately. So that may be why they don't use it.
