About the death scene of Nuka, Zira’s “unimportant” son, it originally had an extended bit of cut dialogue from Nuka. He uttered his last words saying “well, I finally got your attention, didn’t I?” I honestly felt more sorry for Nuka at that point as he only wanted his mother’s approval.

@UCpFE5poM33cCYtguaF54O6g Zira's death is edited for the final feature. But the few extra seconds of her blatantly refusing Kiara's help, even saying: No.... NEVER.... She has a deranged look and starts to smile. Kiara looks in shock and Zira lets herself fall. As how it is now, it's a bit more vague and you could make the argument that she slipped. But she still smiles while she falls. Disney just didn't dare to imply she straight up commited suicide.
I still see it as suicide and it does make her the one and only Disney character to do this.

Kovu and Kiara would be related if he was Scar's son, so instead he was made more like Scar's successor in spirit (or at least that was the villains' plan.)
I really love this movie. As someone who had hard time doing basic stuff because of overly protective parents, I relate to Kiara (she has trouble with hunting.) I also found her a Disney princess whose struggles with being a princess actually felt very _real_ to me (probably because we directly see her having that issue even as a small cub and in a way that still makes sense to a child.) And Simba being an overly protective dad makes sense due to his past.
And Zira is very interesting. One of my favorite Disney villains. It's never outright confirmed she was mates with Scar. Personally, even as a kid, I always thought she was like an insane fangirl who was just Scar's follower and not an equal, but she imagined them as a couple and the father of her kids. The funny thing is that she idolized Scar so much, but in the end Scar was cowardly and not even that strong. Like Zira could definitely beat him up if she wanted to lol.
Also, in the original script, Zira committed suicide by letting herself fall into the water rather than let Kiara help her. You can still see her smiling when she falls in the final version of the movie. Personally, I don't think that would be _too_ dark, since Zira is already shown to be such a twisted character.
And Nuka was originally going to point out that he finally got his mother's attention when he was dying, but that was removed to not give kids the impression that they should get hurt to get their parents' attention.

I wouldn’t say that. Scar was beating Simba’s ass like there was no tomorrow, a much younger, bigger, and stronger lion. If not for Nala teaching Simba the little flip trick, Scar would’ve ended Simba.

You can see how hard it is for Kovu to get out of abusive household and how hard it is for Simba to forget his past cause he’s literally scarred for life. “Tears of pain, tears of joy, one thing nothing can destroy, is our pride deep inside, we are one”
that line sticks with me to the day
and it really speaks to the theme of the film, We are all connected, we are all apart of the “circle of life” no matter what we look like, where we come from, and a long as we understand that we are not alone and we are all together, nothing and no one can destroy or take that away from you
I really enjoyed tis sequel, it does;t have the same budget as the original film but that makes sense
and yet they did a lot with it that makes it great.
I really like we are one, it says a lot about parenting and togetherness and etc it also shows that unlike Simba Kiara is more interested in finding her own way and not being part of some great system, only to learn that we all apart of the system and thus you cannot just not be apart of it later on as an adult
I love Zira, she feels exactly like Scar’s type of woman and of course his successor in terms of villain status
so consumed with hate and revenge that she cannot literally let go of that hatred the same way Scar couldn’t, and it destroys her like it did him in the end.
The whole bit with nuka wanting his mother’s respect and attention because he wasn't seen as the chosen one, despite being scar’s actual son, is great
and i like that Vitanni is the one who realizes that this is futile and changes sides.

Anyways Tim , hope you're having a good day Tim, and glad to see you had fun visiting Disney!
P.S. a little fun fact, the song in the very beginning, " he lives in you" , was actually meant for Mufasa to sing in the first movie. So in a way, having it here instead, this song was kinda a gift for her granddaughter.

Agree, JimmyX Wolvie. Love will find a way was popular. There’s a lot of covers on that Disney song. Not a lot of covers on can you feel the love tonight. But did you know that upendi is also a love song? But it’s like Robert guillaume singing it and all though it’s kind of cute, rafiki wants Kiara and Kovu to fall in love. But do you think rafiki caused them to fall in love or was it mufasa? And it had another love song in the lion king franchise. In the lion guard, the song’s called of the same pride. It has the same amount of covers as love will find a way. The song it is on, is in season 3 episode 19: Journey to the Pride Lands. At the beginning, there’s the love song. And it was the last one that animals sung for the whole season. I hope there’s a season 4 for it. I need to know what the future holds for the franchise

this one is another great example of a sequel done right, with The King of Thieves these are the 2 best sequels to the Disney classics :) now this one ofc doesnt reach the heights of the original but at the same time it doesnt put itself to shame either, they have done really well with the story, its obviously made with respect to the original, the music is really good, not far off from the original, they got some truly great scenes, they nailed the opening, when Kiara meets Kovu I really like how they did that transition with her getting to him going from her own place crossing the border, then them dodging the crocodiles, the fire sequence is great, running from the rhinos is a fun one, Kovu and Simba going together then getting ambushed, Nuka's death was pretty impactful, Kovu getting banished the song going with it is so iconic, and then ofc the final clash is cool, a lot to like about this one :) they blend together dark and light very well, the upbeat and serious they switch between them nicely, they got it all figured, good job :)

I am aware that some people think that Kiara was kind of out of line when she brought up her grandfather towards her father during their infamous argument, but she's right though.
Knowing Mufasa's character, he would not had jumped to conclusions about Kovu unlike Simba. He knew that Kovu wasn't like the others and why he worked so hard to get Kovu and Kiara to get together and bring both tribes of lions back together. The plan did work out in the end after all, which again, shows the wisdom of Mufasa.
Although in Simba's defense, its not hard to see why he didn't trust Kovu at all at first. Simba was trying very hard not to let his family go through the same thing he went through and its implying that he was trying to forgive his uncle. Of course, look it from Kovu's point of view too. He didn't ask to be Scar's... "chosen one." He was forced into his mother's ambitions for the throne and did what she told him. Glad that his sister and the rest of the Outlanders was able to see the truth before it was too late. Ironic part is that Kovu does end up fulfilling Scar's wish. After Simba, Kovu will become king.
