my takeaway is don't be afraid of the lip. You can have all this knowledge, bend your knees to always be in a coiled spring, bring your back arm forward (coffee cup) etc but if you're afraid of going up to the lip then you'll just end up racing down the line rather than going top to bottom.

My takeaway I would say how Travis opens up of the bottom turn to point his chest vertical at the lip. his front foot gets 12 o'clock over the top of the lip and he twists down before impact with the lip, keeping his head low and inverted to complete the turn.

to get the time to face the wave back hand, should we do our bottom turns further down on the flat?
Always have the feeling I dont have time to twist that much, or I exit the wave when I try.
