    I’ll tell you this much. The knuckles story is absolutely, 100% impossible. Not implausible, but absolutely impossible. That would do much more damage to your arm. You’d have potentially broken wrist, torn ligaments, extensive bruising. There is no way anyone could possibly fall and catch their entire body weight with their fist/knuckles and have zero injuries other than scapes on four knuckles. You would almost certainly break your wrist from a fall like that, but you would not fall like that. It makes no sense that a person would fall and not try to catch themselves with an open palm.
    I slip and fell and tried to catch myself with my palm (like a normal human being) and had multiple grade 3 tendons, and 1 grade 1 ligament torn. My entire forearm was striped purple and deep red.
    That was the most ludicrous statement I have heard yet. He beat out the amorous butt dial for the most ridiculous lie in this trial so far.

      That story was such a lie.
      Instinctively we don't catch our falls like that. If it's even possible. There's no time to turn your hand to land on the knuckles. If you did manage that you're going to have more injury than that.
      Psychopath. He's such a puck.

      I fell off my horse.
      Landed on a ground pole on my elbow.
      I literally felt the tendons rupture & snap.
      I heard the bones fracture.
      We were just cantering in the indoor with soft footing.
      I saw my cousin catch her fall when slipped on snow/ice. She fell back tho. Her arms reflexively tried to break the fall. She ended up dislocating her wrist.
      He's so full of crap.
      Are we surprised he says he had a "beverage" in the other hand?

    • @ESPHMacD
      @ESPHMacD 27 วันที่ผ่านมา +8

      Yeah the last time I fell like that and only caught myself on ”one hand” it was open palm and I fractured both forearm bones with the force of it all, needed a plaster cast for like 2 months. I was also scraped up on my left side because I couldn’t catch my other side and it got scraped up in the process. Falling even on ice wouldn’t only screw up the tops of the knuckles on the one hand like he stumbled and fell on ice and did a superhero landing.

The same Tropper they knew was SA'ing women he pulled over and was later convicted of doing so. The idea that her ex set her up is abhorrent, but to throw her to a wolf, knowing she was likely to be assaulted(and was), is next-level evil. Albert led State Police on a 30 hour manhunt after rear ending a car on I-95 in Attleboro, MA killing the driver Peter Berger at 3 AM before fleeing the scene." John O'Keefe deserves the best of the best investigation for his death. He was a police officer, an Uncle(dad) to his niece and nephew and from all the testimonies, he was loved and also well liked. It's heartbreaking for his family and also Karen's family.
    So far, after 13 days and over 30+ witnesses, there is NOTHING to prove or show how John passed. IMOO, The LE, the judge and the prosecution seem to care more about proving the Alberts non-involvement than to show Karen responsible. No one can convince me that the judge is not blatantly biased. It's despicable and disgusting to see how none of the LE, judge and prosecution show any remorse, regret, empathy, sympathy or just plain respect for John O'Keefe. It's also sad that the O'Keefe family are depending and hoping that the LE, judge and prosecution to find out what happened to John. It seems only the defense is trying their best to show that from the injuries John had, it was more than a vehicle accident.
    Hopefully no more "RE-HOMING" of any evidence.

      @@goll58 IMOO, I think when KR dropped off John, Colin was leaving at the same time. I think that the 2 of them had disagreements because of Colin littering his lawn, AND also Colin hitting on his niece. A scuffle started. The dog that Brian just let out, came out the backyard and jumped John, who fell and hit his head on the fire hydrant. BA and BH heard the commotion and came out(that's when according to Nicole, they were missing for a few mins), saw the bleeding and took John in the basement from the outer door. They couldn't take him to the hospital or call 911, so they were figuring out what to do. At this point, I don't think they planned on framing Karen. After they realised that he was bleeding out, they decided to take him back and put him by the fire hydrant, the excuse would be, he was drunk and fell and hit his head. They covered him with a puffy jacket to keep him warm. They thought the plow guy would find him and call 911. What they didn't expect is Karen to wake up to look for him. I also think Jen stopped the car where John was. Jen and Kerry were the only ones at that time who knew about the cracked tail light. Lots of unanswered calls or communications we don't know about yet, is what caused them to frame Karen. I think they threatened Karen with their power and told her to take the fall for a minimum sentence and that would close the case. But Karen knew that even if she did hit John, the injuries just didn't match up, so she decided to fight back. Then they decided to up the charges and here we are, watching this fiasco/convoluted investigation with cups/leaf blower/shopping bag/re-homed dog/re-homed house/re-homed phones etc etc.

    I think a lot of people in the lives and these comments need to remember that the defense hasn't begun to present their case. The prosecution hasn't rested their case yet. So the defense trying to prove that Colin is not this innocent kid doesn't mean that they believe he beat JO to death. Just catching him as a liar is enough to help their case. Plus, if they can prove that he's aggressive, and the fact that JO looked like he was beat to death, plus the fact that the family tried to hide his presence in the house that night. That's big.

    • @ESPHMacD
      @ESPHMacD 27 วันที่ผ่านมา +8

      Yeah. All they need to do is provide doubt in the prosecution’s case, or that the investigation wasn’t properly done and not all avenues were exhausted before charging someone with murder. To prove this case to reasonable doubt or moral certainty, I don’t think that’s possible at the moment without strong evidence to the contrary (which I am not sure exists). We’re past Day 12 and we know what everyone was drinking that night except the only person charged with a DUI. We haven’t even gotten to O’Keefe being dead as far as court evidence yet.

    I think Collin was being a drunk, cocky kid and started a fight with John. John was holding his own and Brian got involved. Then the dog got involved to "protect" Brian. Brian and Colin took it too far, and next thing you know, John's on the floor vomiting and convulsing, and they panicked. I don't think they meant to kill him. They were drunk and ganged up, and it went too far. Hence why the floor was tore up in the basement, there is missing blood, dogs "rehomed", and the house was sold. Also makes sense given John's injuries! Way too many coincidences here!

    • @okaylady8692
      @okaylady8692 27 วันที่ผ่านมา +5

      This is how I feel exactly. I think the basement is in question because they believe John fell in the fight and hit the back of his head on a weight rack.
      It was a house of a police officer, with strong family/ friends also police, with a drunk teenager.
      Not everyone has to be "in on the coverup" and know exactly what happened. They just went with the story they were told. Because no one really knew Karen. And they trusted their family.

I think she only said that because Yannetti went with the ”Lally was just waiting for a witness to get up there and cry” like he was attacking AM for being an ’emotional woman’ or something. It wasn’t, and she should do better at not showing her own personal bias from the bench. I've never seen it done in court before but have only watched a few trials. No one can deny her comment today though, after defense pointed out that it was unfair to Miss Read's case that there's witnesses crying about harassment (which had nothing to with Karen or defense council), that the judge allowing the questioning wasn't fair, and Judge Bev said something along of the lines of "I strongly disagree with your argument" - that proves it's personal, and she definitely feels defensive about people calling her rulings biased. If not, she wouldn't have thrown in such a personal unnecessary comment like that during a ruling

    What I can say is, I have been in 3 car accidents, one a pick up truck, went through the windshield of that one, no injuries in the others other than an old cut reopening on my knee..nothing like this supposedly being hit backing up..
    The Medical Examiner later determined that O’Keefe suffered multiple skull fractures, consistent with blunt-force trauma that led to bleeding in the brain. He also had two swollen black eyes, several abrasions on his right arm as well and blood around his nose and mouth. Hypothermia was a contributing factor in his death, the autopsy ruled.
    One other thing, its looking like a fight did take place, I highly doubt also one person carried him outside.

He said it looks like someone hit the heavy bag without wrap or gloves or "bro got in a fight," but then he said he'd expect there to be more bruising.

Why make up this bizarre story about falling knuckles down? which is absolutely ridiculous & no one believes.
