Luke 18:18 - Jesus is sarcastically pointing at the fact that if you call him good, you're calling him GOD. People were denying his deity but calling him good. I haven't seen many poeple talk about this, but our Nigerian brothers and sister are going through awfull things right now in the hands of boko haram (islamists). they kidnap school girls and end schoolboys, and this has been going on for a while but lately the situation is far worse. Christians in north Nigeria are been hunted and ended. Some of the girls kidnapped 10 years ago recently returned, and they had given birth multiple times while they were away. 98 girls of those kidnapped 10 years ago are still missing. Since May(I think) last year, 5000 kidnappings have taken place.

I was even a little confused with the being and person. I think to make it understandable to people we can say as 1 being we are a body, soul, and spirit. My spirit is not my body or soul. My soul is not my spirit or body, and my body is not my spirit or soul. But they all work together to create me as a being. Also a good scripture to reference that God and Jesus are the same person is in Exodus where he introduced himself as Lord for the first time to Moses. And then you learn in 1 Corinthians 8:6 and the famous scripture Romans 10:9. Where he makes it known that Jesus is Lord.

The sleepy guy from Nigeria who called but got kicked out since he's a Christian reminded me. I haven't seen many poeple talk about this, but our Nigerian brothers and sister are going through awfull things right now in the hands of boko haram (islamists). they kidnap school girls and end schoolboys, and this has been going on for a while but lately the situation is far worse. Christians in north Nigeria are been hunted and ended. Some of the girls kidnapped 10 years ago recently returned, and they had given birth multiple times while they were away. 98 girls of those kidnapped 10 years ago are still missing. Since May(I think) last year, 5000 kidnappings have taken place.
Nigeria is a powder keg, just waiting to explode. Praying for Nigerian Christians.

I was even a little confused with the being and person. I think to make it understandable to people we can say as 1 being we are a body, soul, and spirit. My spirit is not my body or soul. My soul is not my spirit or body, and my body is not my spirit or soul. But they all work together to create me as a being. Also a good scripture to reference that God and Jesus are the same person is in Exodus where he introduced himself as Lord for the first time to Moses.
