- This weeks episode we dive into my Chevy S10 rear end. Have some strange sounds somewhere in my transmission or differential. Let’s dive in and install a locker mini spool along the way. I’ll teach you have you can do this. I’ll show you how to install it and test it out. It’s a fun video.

That 80 flap wheel grit did the trick 😂 and that shirt wipe was a pro move.
Should have used 150 😢
@@Drakes_Garagehey did you use the original pin that holds it all together?
@@frankrizzo2724 yes I did.
If you cant get the filler off the diff. Just make a new hole on the cover and adapter it
I have a 78 Skyhawk with the 7.5 rear. I plan on installing a mini spool also since it’s 350 swapped. Your video was helpful!!
Thanks!! Glad I could help
Is there a kocker for a 1999 s10 zr2 truck.
A lot of TH-cam car guys leave that top bolt in loose when draining their diff so the cover doesn't fall down and make a huge mess. Just a little something for the next time. Of course I use a Fumoto valve on my oil pan because I hate making a mess.
Not a bad idea Josh!
should i get a limited slip carrier if i wanna still drive it on the road?
A limited slip would make it more of a daily than my mini spool for sure
How was the roadhouse?
Always a classic 😂. Should we stop at the Double Deuce?
Yes for sure brother
Not a good application for street use. Much harder to turn corners. That setup is for racing only.
