I bought some woman’s best protein per your recommendation and I LOVE it. I had not found a protein powder I could stomach until this one. I even add it to my kids pancakes for added protein and vanilla flavor. They love it.
Powdered nut butters might have fewer calories than traditional nut butters, but they also taste like trash in comparison. I was really excited to try powdered almond butter. It tastes like powdered sadness. I might try it again in a smoothie to see if I can cover up the disgusting. Yet ANOTHER example of "Life is too short, just eat less of the thing and enjoy yourself".
same. i have a serious problem controlling myself around peanut butter, its just too damn good, but id much rather not get to have it at all 6/7 days of the week and then enjoy it on that sweet day seven than eat however much i want of a nasty powdered version
I had this same problem with brands that thankfully but unfortunately only list peanuts in the ingredients. I thought it couldn’t taste that bad and be able to be sold in stores lol I did some experimenting so I wouldn’t have wasted money and they’re definitely better mixed into things but for dipping or spreading I do the tiniest dash of liquid monk fruit, a nice pinch of salt and instead of water I do a milk alternative - I love Ripple pea milk but any milk will work and the calories still remain low since it’s only about 2-2.5 tbsp.
If you have an instant pot/pressure cooker, making your own yogurt is a great option! Greek yogurt is just strained yogurt. Add whatever flavorings you want.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on being vegan as a petite. I am 4’11” and have been vegan for 7 ish years. I tend to eat high carb by default but I know there are higher protein options! I am just a creature of habit!
I am loving the Trader Joe's everything but the bagel yogurt dip with veggies. I have that protein brands Salted Caramel powder. It's pretty good. Sometimes I'll put a tablespoon of that in my yogurt.
I love making yogurt bowls lately. In mine, i use plain Greek yogurt, mixed frozen berries, a tri blend of seeds (flax, chia, and hemp), and sometimes, not all the time, i would add granola with dark chocolate bits or raw oats. Its such a great dessert to have at the end of the day, and few hours after dinner.
I feel like it would blow your mind if I told you that with some tinted windows, you can see through them when on one side of the window, but you can't see through them when on the other side. Even as a sighted person I can't wrap my head around it.
Been watching your videos fir a week. I can't believe #pff is something JUST NOW coming to me. I've been on and off keto through the years and am dealing with alterations in digestion as I age (I'm 31, 5'4, 185 lbs). I don't like the way my waste (yes waste) looks and makes me think im unhealthy and need to change what I eat. I also want to get rid of my waist (yes waist), but don't necessarily want to keep doing keto because it's a lot sometimes. Pff seems like something I NEED to give a try.
April, you should try the Cabot low fat greek yogurt in vanilla bean!!!! I haven’t had the Chobani one because I’m weird about trying yogurts but I like the Cabot one. I think it would be similar in taste and composition 🤷♀️
While I watched this I was just snacking on some freshly cut watermelon, which is a carb! Ahhh How would you recommend altering that / would you say that is not the best snack choice?
When I went keto, I read that watermelon is actually a good snack to have as long as you don’t go ham. It’s mostly water and a lot of flavor per bite, so it winds up being a low carb treat if you keep conscious of the amount you’re eating. I will literally eat half a watermelon in one sitting if I don’t watch myself 😅
At the end of the day, it's 'calories in V calories out' so if plain watermelon helps you to feel full and satisfied (since it's an extremely low-calorie dense food) then you shouldn't avoid eating it as a snack. However, if you struggle to meet your daily protein/fat intake then try pairing it with Greek/high-protein yoghurt, a protein bar, protein shake, etc, or even have it as dessert following a high protein dinner. Hope this helps! :D
Thumbs up for snackssss. That is all :)
Organic PB Fit peanut butter powder mixed in with no sugar Greek yogurt makes a great dip for an apple or carrots. My favorite snack!
Also go to for me is lactose free cottage cheese with a pear cut up and boat load of cinnamon on top. Soooooo yummy.

Great ideas April! Thank you!!! I also love lactose free cottage cheese (Good Culture brand), with blueberries.

This is so good! And the snacks looks yummy😊
Do you have a suggestion to substitute the chia seeds in the yogurt bowl?

My fave snack is either carrots or fruit lol. I don’t really care for chips. Mostly I barely snack. Just never have cared for “not warm” food.
