If you don't know the story of this, basically, Mario is trapped inside a mentally insane Luigi, whose body is slowly dying. Mario is trying to escape from his brother before he dies, trapping Mario inside for eternity.
Yeah, kind of dark, but I had a great time making this.

I feel like there should be a good ending or kind of like a True ending, Like maybe there’s a prelude where Mario goes to a shop and buys a 1-up Mushroom from the shopkeep, and so once Mario enters Luigi’s mind and finds out that Luigi’s mind is slowly dying, so it could be Mario’s job to save the 1-up mushroom for Luigi. So maybe the Deformed Luigi’s that are trying to attack Mario are trying to get the 1-up that he’s holding onto, So it’s Mario’s job to save the 1-up for Luigi, The Real Luigi, His Mind before he truly dies. I think Chrome’s idea would be the sort of True Ending for the game
I think in Creepypasta Mario tried to use a mushroom 1-Up but it didn't work

@@AquaNeptun3If it were a game I assume you would have to make sure luigi takes as less damage as possible despite having no hp in order for the remaining piece to be stable enough to take the 1-up mushroom
Meh, it diminishes the impact of the scenario if there was a forced good ending forced into a scenario that's supposed to be a darker alternative timeline

It doesn't diminish anything, and it fits Mario's character. He's a smart dude, and he cares for his brother. Why wouldn't he take the extra step?
Also I'd hardly call it forced, just as easily as the bad ending scenario could happen, so could a good ending.
'The end scene could be Mario actually getting to the source of Luigi's insanity which Mario looks in disbelief... Because it is shards of glass that reflect the memories of Mario always being number one while luigi has been altered within the memory to appear more as a shadow rather than an actual being... Mario being mario, smashes one which causes all the other shards to shatter as well.
Luigi appears before Mario, Mario was unsure if this is his actual brother and not one of the ghostly apparitions that turn into incomprehensible monstrous eldritch abominations that want to tear at Mario's flesh on the second glance... But after all of this, Mario ran over to hug Luigi.
Mario is sobbing as he now realizes that it is his fault that Luigi is dying and Mario just did not care during that time. Too hellbent of escaping rather than helping his own brother.
Luigi slowly hums a tune that is ever so familiar to Mario as Luigi smiles ever so softly. At least Luigi has now seen Mario realizing of all of Mario's mistakes and is now redeeming himself from them.
Everything starts to fade like smoke to the wind as Mario is being forced out of Luigi's mind. " At least one of us is gonna keep saving the princess, ey Mario?" was the last words Luigi said before finally being the last one to fade as tears start to stream down Luigi's face as well...
Mario awakens in his part of the bunk bed, Mario looks around and has a glimpse of Luigi's kind spirit watching over Mario as Mario lays back down to rest as well as sob into his pillow because of all of the things that Mario has done.
If only Mario could rewind time and saw it sooner... Mario would've done it with no hesitation... To have his brother back is his only wish. ' - Chrome

I like to imagine that the final boss of Mario Dream Team would look like a mixture of MX and Mr. L made entirely out of the corruption static on the Luigi's. The corruption of Green and perceived evil of Red. Held together by the slow, insidious evil of a beating Heart of Void.

honestly, its.. kind of funny for me though.
i used to do a really good impression of Mario, i used to be great at it. hell when i decided i wanted to be a voice actor one day, my end goal dream was to somehow pick up charles' role.
sadly i lost the will and motivation for any of that years ago. hell maybe if i'd have put myself out there i could've been picked up by some incredible chance.
maybe some day in the future.

No, Dreambert is still in the dream world. Luigi is dead, but the pure desperation of letting Mario escape keeps Dreamy Luigi “alive”. Since Luigi is Mario’s conduit to the dream world, both brothers are now in Luigi’s decaying mind.

Somehow they dont work.....they can revive mario after being crushed into a singularity or burned to a crisp but for some bs reason they dont work here...thats the part of this story i just dont like
