Different idea: the reason it's "pixelated" is because this is in Luigi's dying dream, even if he's trying to save Mario during said dream. Perhaps his memories during his dying dream are that of some of his earliest adventures with Mario, which is represented by the song being chiptune, like the background songs to the Bros early days.

*In the midst of one of their adventures in the dream world, Dreambert emerges as a foreboding rumble shakes the dream world. Mario and Dreamy Luigi both stop in confusion- though a question mark only appears over Mario’s head. The vibrant colors are quickly becoming more and more dull... something far from what the nightmare chunks did to the Pi'illo folk. Dreambert appears noticeably worried…* "...this... this cannot be..." "Mario... you need to flee from this place, fast." "This darkness... it is not that of a nightmare. This is something far, far worse." *Luigi is seen on the bottom screen. He appears weary and pained, much like he would at critical health in a battle. He has bags under his eyes, and Starlow isn’t seen. In fact, the area around is dark- there’s not enough of a connection for Dreambert to connect to the real world…* "Luigi- the REAL Luigi- has been defeated somehow. He barely holds on to the dreams." "Now, reviving him is simple. You both have bounced back from certain doom before, I've seen it with my own eyes." "But never once has there been records of one being in the dreams of someone as they fade away." "And that is for a reason. They never return." *Mario lets out a worried exclamation, as the area's colors continue to fade bit by bit. Dreamy Luigi… is unresponsive. The ground collapses beneath them, forcing Dreambert to float down to Mario, worried. Only Mario and Dreambert can be seen, surrounded by shadow.* “Mario! Are you well?!” *Mario gets up and nods. Dreambert looks around for a moment and returns to Mario.* “Thank goodness. That was quite a fall… though I suppose you’ve dealt with worse.” *Dreambert looks towards Luigi on the bottom screen.* "Luigi is trying his best to cling to focus, to life. Not for himself- for you, Mario." "Because if this dream ends, even if Luigi is revived afterwards... you'll be lost in the dream world, forever..." "Dreams sometimes shift. While you'll certainly exist in this realm, Luigi being revived will likely cause the dream to be changed." "And in the process, there's no telling where you'll find yourself." "Whether trapped within the dreamy earth, lost in a nightmarish labyrinth, or even thrown into Dream's Deep..." *Dreambert looks around a bit more, trying to figure out where they had ended up.* “And that’s if you’re in a normal dream when it ends. This… this isn’t a dream. Nor is it a nightmare.” “I truly do not know where we are in the dreamscape… or if this is something else entirely.” *The view of the area expands. The area is a mashed-together tapestry of locations, though all of which are next to monochromatic. Dreamy Luigi and a number of Luiginoids are spread about, all seemingly unconscious. Mario and Dreambert rush to Dreamy Luigi, whose face is seeming to dissolve. Some of the Luiginoids seem like pieces of them are missing, fading into nothing. Others look eerie and off-putting. As time passes, they start to fade more and more… but they seem to be getting up. For now, though, Mario and Dreambert don’t pay attention to this.* “That said, we need to hurry. The longer we spend here, the longer Luigi’s mind has to decay.” “And since time in the two worlds isn’t always the same, once we escape… if we escape…” “We need to give Luigi a 1-Up immediately. There isn’t enough time to get to a shop and purchase one- his mind will be long gone before we return.” “In addition, we need to make sure you don’t get defeated either… Check your inventory. Surely you have a few 1-Ups, right..?” *Mario searches through his bag, and much to his and Dreambert's dismay, only a single 1-Up is found. Putting it away, he explains the situation to Dreambert. Meanwhile, the Luiginoids, of which more are getting up, begin to approach them…* "...you only have one..?" "...I sense that saving you both will be difficult." "Wait... the Luiginoids. What... what are they doing?" *As Dreambert alerts Mario to this, the Luiginoids attempt to attack Mario, who falls down on his face. Normally a comical sight, this is much more worrying this time. Thankfully, this puts Mario and Dreambert far enough away from the Luiginoids so that they cannot be attacked, for now.* "MARIO! Are you well?" *Mario gets up slowly, checking his inventory for the 1-Up to confirm he still has it.* "...Phew. That is… relieving. It seems the Luiginoids aren’t acting normally… far from it." “It’s as if the dreamy foes of this world have merged with them in the instability, causing them to act strangely…” “I would feel more comforted if you could use that 1-Up to remain safe…” "But... you cannot... not if you want to save Luigi." *Mario sighs, before both he and Dreambert look to Dreamy Luigi, who has gotten up and has moved over to the two. At first, both brace for an attack, but Dreamy Luigi jumps a couple times- noticeably less powerful jumps compared to usual- to show he means well. Dreambert sighs.* "At the least, Dreamy Luigi seems to be well enough to know you are not a foe." "I fear you may not be able to use Luiginary Attacks currently. And the usual dreamy power of Dreamy Luigi himself is all but gone." "But perhaps there is something else." *Various items and scenarios depicting previous adventures between the Bros. are seen floating around, much like the Luigi outlines would in Dream’s Deep.* "...What are these..?" "...Ah. I see. These are... memories… this must be Luigi’s mind, rather than his dreams." *Dreambert begins to take a closer look at the memories…* "No… these are not just any memories. These are memories of what you and Luigi have done together..." *He notices something in one of the memories, reaching in and pulling out a familiar blue pipe- the Spin Pipe, from the Bros.’ previous adventure.* "...Aha! And within those memories, there are attacks! Attacks you and Luigi have performed in the past!" *He moves back to Mario and Dreamy Luigi, handing them the Spin Pipe.* "While Luiginary Attacks may be out of the question, perhaps we can make use of these memories with Dreamy Luigi's help!" "However... do be cautious. Luigi's mind is in a fragile state already." "Dreamy Luigi, being what is essentially a culmination of those dreams- of his mind… is thus also in peril." "Since Luigi’s mind is weak, if Dreamy Luigi is hurt… the memories might be as well.” “And if he were to fall… I can barely stand to think of it…” “But not only would Luigi lose everything that makes him, well, Luigi…” “You’d be gone with all of it, too.” “You must not let Dreamy Luigi be hurt, under ANY circumstances.” *Mario nods in understanding.* “I will do my best to assist by gathering the powers you and Luigi have used in the past. I do not know how well they may work, but they will be far better than basic attacks at the least.” “Remember- do not let Dreamy Luigi be hurt, and be sure to keep that 1-Up safe.” *Another tremor in the dreamscape… or rather, mindscape… alerts the group that they need to move. And a large number of Luiginoids can be seen in the way of them and the dream portal.* “This is bad. We must make haste. I do not know how long we have- but it certainly isn’t long.” “We must be at one with victory- for Luigi’s sake.”
Side note: this is not the actual creepypasta's plot or story. This is a fanmade variation on it I made that fits more into the actual game, without foregoing the permanent death the creepypasta implies. If you want to see the actual creepypasta, and not this fan-story version, then go look for *Mario Dream Team*. I'm well aware there are some inaccuracies compared to the real deal. They're intentional, since this isn't the real deal. Consider this an alternate take on the concept, I suppose.
@@sunmoonfx8251Oh my god the feels it hurts Would you write a "conclusion" bit that probably align with the normal game? Where they narrowly avoid the long term consequences and such?
The concept of the story reminds me of a game named The Endless Empty. Long story short, it takes place in the brain of a singer who just...added some lead to his brain, the express way. You are his identity, and explore his dying brain to face and ally with various facets of his psyche even as everything breaks down around you. You can't save him or anything, but you can give a meaning to the entire tragedy by finding out more about him and his story.
Man I really like this creepy pasta. I hope there is a few different endings. It should be like Mario has a single 1-UP and the Luiginoids know this and are attacking him to try and take it to survive. Whenever True Luigi gets hit more memory’s are lost (visually represented by the world crumbling around you) so the best ending is if Mario tanks/blocks all the hits AND never dies. Good ending is if Mario never dies and escapes. Neutral ending is if Mario dies (using the only hope to revive Luigi) and escapes. Bad ending is if Mario can’t escape in time and gets trapped and worst is if Mario dies twice.
I cannot explain why I love the amazing concept of this creepypasta, the fact this takes place either during or after the Antasma fight and that Mario is basically relying on borrowed time from a dying Luigi's sheer will to help his older bro escape from his fading deceased conscience is a cinematically elaborate theme that, when done right, sets a new bar for psychological horror. The creator went all out with this, from the screencap shown in this video and the others shown on this creepypasta's wiki page to references and honors to previous Mario and Luigi games and other Mario games/spinoffs, this is one hell of a creepypasta that should be given more attention. The music's soundfont sounding like older Mario games' rather than just Dream Team's really gives a timely feel to this, almost like this all takes place after every Mario and Luigi game, hell, even after Brothership, and is a psychological and mental attack upon Mario's own imagination and conscience while he sleeps one night. A reminder of his and Luigi's past adventures, moreover, what he did wrong, and this is just one of many ways that this kind of subliminal attack on Mario would play out, there could be more to this that the creator hasn't elaborated on, there could be more lore lurking within the Mario Dream Team creepypasta that we haven't even realized yet. Overall, perfect execution and an outstanding soundtrack and story, would love more from the creator someday.
Okay, normally I don't comment multiple times, but I came up with an idea if you ever decide to remaster (also fyi there *should* be a converter for .RSD into mp3 or sf2): Extending the song would also help with the idea. My idea for the track is to make the song degrade. By this, I mean making the song change soundfonts into earlier games, preferably starting with Dream Team, and ending at a mixture of Game N Watch and a Luigi's Mansion soundfont mix.
this is the music track that wont stop playing. it keeps playing between battles. when the song ends, GAME OVER. while there is no way to see how much time you have left in the hud, the world slowly starts to go grayscale and deteriorate. Luigi cant be targeted. bros attacks dont work.
With the absurd abominations that appear, there should be points where Luigi gets an adrenaline boost of some kind. Perhaps during a particularly hard boss or a event. The deterioration doesn't go away, but everything regains it's color for a bit. Making up possibly lost time During said moments, Luigi could possibly unlock a bros attack temporarily, but has limited BP during the fight. So it's smart to reveal the weak point before going all out with a bros attack
I think that instead of just using the world to determine your time, you should also be able to tell by the music. The music is full volume with all instruments while you still have plenty of time left, but as your time limit approaches instruments start to disappear and the music itself gets quieter and less hopeful. When the music stops, that's your indication that you are too late, both to save Luigi and for Mario to escape.
“…. You’ve made it. The dream portal is in sight. You turn to your fading brother, about to thank him for all hes done for you, and to wish him goodbye one final time…. But he notices something near the portal. It seems your journey isnt finished yet.” I pictured the one luigi clone there as a sort of super boss, so i had to do that bit of dialouge lol. Song is great btw. Real emotional 😢
I like to think that the Luiginary attacks would flat out be unusable, and here’s why So you know how Luiginary attacks all involve summoning a bunch of Luiginoids? And you know how Luiginoids in this spooky spaghetti are aggressive? I’m pretty sure if they used any kind of Luiginary attack, Mario would just die But Bros Attacks would be usable in their place. You gotta be careful of the noise though or it may attract more Luiginoids into the fray
or the luiginary attacks are used against mario, although strangely different as theyre just confused and thinking taking mario out will somehow save him
@@codster3721they don’t think that taking Mario out will save Mario or Luigi, the Luiginoids hunt Mario down and try to end him so that Luigi can rest in peace since Luigi is desperately and barely holding onto the dream world to save Mario, which won’t let him die peacefully
imagine the concept in which when Mario of Luigi dies there body remains and in this instance Luigi dies and respawns but he freaks out as nothing he does will open a dream world portal to the dream world of his dead body causing extreme stress as he realizes the more his old body decays the less of a chance of Mario escaping as if he gets smeared into nothingness he wont respawn and will be gone for good
…you think this is something a 1-UP can’t fix? Jokes aside, knowing the story and all, this music really fits well with a feeling of both hope and dread, and it really got me in the feels (Well done)
I just realized they're using the overworld UI instead of the dream UI. Meaning, that Luigi can no longer give Mario Luigi's enhancement capabilities as well as the obvious fact that he can't control the Luiginoids. Looks like they have to use the standard bros moves from here on out.
i have a different take on this creepy pasta so basicly, its like normal where luigi dies while hes sleeping with mario in the dream world with his last thought before losing consciousness was saving mario, so dreamy luigi is doing his best to help mario to the real world. but when mario enterd the dream world (before luigi died) he had 2, 1-ups but when he tried one on dreamy luigi it didnt work, so he realized he needed to get the 1-up to luigi in the real world, but the luiginarys dont know this, so they are trying to kill mario for the 1-up to use on either themselves or dreamy luigi (idk) and it can have 3 endings, good ending: Mario escapes and revives luigi. meh ending: mario dies in the dream world and has to use the 1-up then escapes, but now has no way to get a 1-up in time to save luigi bad: ending, mario dies again after using the 1-up and dies in the dream world
Thinking about it, itd be cool if a mario dream team fangame were to give vives similar to an ai generated video, where the landscapes morph into different shapes, the different luigi creatures morphing into things, etc.
Y'know, I can honestly imagine this happening either after the giant battle with Bower, or the Final Fight with Antasima, leading to a timed event where you need to escape the dream world quickly, or else you'll get a game over, similarly to the timed bomb event in TTYD, since Antasima and their magic could be reaking havok on Luigi and his mental state
I literally cannot sleep now that i know about the story. Since i do have a little brother (not affiliated with Undertale™ or any joke) this keeps me up at night. And i start to cry when i hear this and think of my little brother. If he gets killed, i do it to myself and if he dies of old age... I will stay alive until he dies. No fucking matter what. I know nobody gives a shit but some dont know how it is to have something as valuable as that.
Mario I know you're in there I still miss you and I wish some day you will wake up I love you brother ps peach said hi From Luigi love you brother your my number one bro
....i just thpught something crazy about the fight...The reasin the playee would be able to easily counter the luiginary attacks is because the "main" luigi is missing ,so the attack is a wonky version of the original same with your bros moved, they are kinda wonky
Mario and Luigi were fighting Antasma in the Dream World, something happened (I think the stress of the magic or something was too much for Luigi's mind?), mortally injuring Luigi in the real world, and now the Dream World, along with the Luigi clones, are rotting along with Luigi's corpse in the real world. The real Luigi, with what little life he has left (he refuses to die, essentially becoming a living corpse) does his best to help Mario escape from the dying dream world, all while the Luigi clones become ultra violent due to what happened to the real Luigi.
@@Thebroadcaster759yep and while Mario and Luigi have to Fight against corrupted clones and enemies (Cackletta, Fawful, Princess Shroob, Elder Princess shroob and Dark Star). I genuinely hope Triki Tr0y decides to make a Good ending and/or True ending that’s actually canon
so what i like to assume regarding bros attacks, Mario has the normal ones since realistically, mario would still have them and dreamy luigi(or real luigi, whatever ye want to call em) has weaker and higher costing bros attacks from previous games, like for example the copy flower not being infinite, snack basket only giving half the snacks and luigi does not do a flip at the end, the magic window also not going infinite and Mario not being able to participate, so on
Yeah i have to agree with what people are saying...like not even dream team...it just doesnt even really seem like a Mario & Luigi song its not bad but if the image wasnt here or the title i would not associate it with Mario
man cool concept im just questioning why mario has his low hp animation when he is not at the low hp which is red and pink instead of yellow (still really like the creepypasta)
Creepypasta/Bad ending au of Mario & Luigi Dream Team. During the fight against Final Antasma, Luigi's mind is put on an incredible strain due to Antasma's power, mortally wounding him in the process. He's not dead, he refuses to die, but the fact that he's so weak means that his mind is falling apart. Dreamy Luigi, who's face is falling apart, has to help Mario make it to the portal back to the real world, escaping the collapsing mindscape of Luigi, but there's a miscommunication causing the Luiginary clones to attack Mario to keep him in the dream world so that way he can be "saved". This is a potential canon scenario about a final fight against the Luiginary clones, desperate to "save" mario (i think?)
this battle Mario can't flee and can't use bro's attacks or dreamy attacks. the damage he deals does nothing to dreamy Luigi. dreamy Luigi starts dealing 1 damage but as the battle progresses, they deal more and more damage until Mario is reduced to 1 hp, Mario gets a last-ditch attack but can't land it do to being too heavily damaged thus drops to the ground ending the battle. Mario lays on the ground of the dreamy world beaten and out of time and breath. (Just an idea.)

*Dreambert looks towards Luigi on the bottom screen.*
"Luigi is trying his best to cling to focus, to life. Not for himself- for you, Mario."
"Because if this dream ends, even if Luigi is revived afterwards... you'll be lost in the dream world, forever..."
"Dreams sometimes shift. While you'll certainly exist in this realm, Luigi being revived will likely cause the dream to be changed."
"And in the process, there's no telling where you'll find yourself."
"Whether trapped within the dreamy earth, lost in a nightmarish labyrinth, or even thrown into Dream's Deep..."
*Dreambert looks around a bit more, trying to figure out where they had ended up.*
“And that’s if you’re in a normal dream when it ends. This… this isn’t a dream. Nor is it a nightmare.”
“I truly do not know where we are in the dreamscape… or if this is something else entirely.”
*The view of the area expands. For now, though, Mario and Dreambert don’t pay attention to this.*
“That said, we need to hurry. The longer we spend here, the longer Luigi’s mind has to decay.”
“And since time in the two worlds isn’t always the same, once we escape… if we escape…”
“We need to give Luigi a 1-Up immediately. There isn’t enough time to get to a shop and purchase one- his mind will be long gone before we return.”
“In addition, we need to make sure you don’t get defeated either… Check your inventory. Surely you have a few 1-Ups, right..?”
*Mario searches through his bag, and much to his and Dreambert's dismay, only a single 1-Up is found. Putting it away, he explains the situation to Dreambert. Meanwhile, the Luiginoids, of which more are getting up, begin to approach them…*
"...you only have one..?"
"...I sense that saving you both will be difficult."
"Wait... the Luiginoids. What... what are they doing?"
*As Dreambert alerts Mario to this, the Luiginoids attempt to attack Mario, who falls down on his face. Normally a comical sight, this is much more worrying this time. Thankfully, this puts Mario and Dreambert far enough away from the Luiginoids so that they cannot be attacked, for now.*
"MARIO! Are you well?"
*Mario gets up slowly, checking his inventory for the 1-Up to confirm he still has it.*
"...Phew. That is… relieving. It seems the Luiginoids aren’t acting normally… far from it."
“It’s as if the dreamy foes of this world have merged with them in the instability, causing them to act strangely…”
“I would feel more comforted if you could use that 1-Up to remain safe…”
"But... you cannot... not if you want to save Luigi."
*Mario sighs, before both he and Dreambert look to Dreamy Luigi, who has gotten up and has moved over to the two. At first, both brace for an attack, but Dreamy Luigi jumps a couple times- noticeably less powerful jumps compared to usual- to show he means well. Dreambert sighs.*
"At the least, Dreamy Luigi seems to be well enough to know you are not a foe."
"I fear you may not be able to use Luiginary Attacks currently. And the usual dreamy power of Dreamy Luigi himself is all but gone."
"But perhaps there is something else."
*Various items and scenarios depicting previous adventures between the Bros. are seen floating around, much like the Luigi outlines would in Dream’s Deep.*
"...What are these..?"
"...Ah. I see. These are... memories… this must be Luigi’s mind, rather than his dreams."
*Dreambert begins to take a closer look at the memories…*
"No… these are not just any memories. These are memories of what you and Luigi have done together..."
*He notices something in one of the memories, reaching in and pulling out a familiar blue pipe- the Spin Pipe, from the Bros.’ previous adventure.*
"...Aha! And within those memories, there are attacks! Attacks you and Luigi have performed in the past!"
*He moves back to Mario and Dreamy Luigi, handing them the Spin Pipe.*
"While Luiginary Attacks may be out of the question, perhaps we can make use of these memories with Dreamy Luigi's help!"
"However... do be cautious. Luigi's mind is in a fragile state already."
"Dreamy Luigi, being what is essentially a culmination of those dreams- of his mind… is thus also in peril."
"Since Luigi’s mind is weak, if Dreamy Luigi is hurt… the memories might be as well.”
“And if he were to fall… I can barely stand to think of it…”
“But not only would Luigi lose everything that makes him, well, Luigi…”
“You’d be gone with all of it, too.”
“You must not let Dreamy Luigi be hurt, under ANY circumstances.”
*Mario nods in understanding.*
“I will do my best to assist by gathering the powers you and Luigi have used in the past. I do not know how well they may work, but they will be far better than basic attacks at the least.”
“Remember- do not let Dreamy Luigi be hurt, and be sure to keep that 1-Up safe.”
*Another tremor in the dreamscape… or rather, mindscape… alerts the group that they need to move. And a large number of Luiginoids can be seen in the way of them and the dream portal.*
“This is bad. We must make haste. I do not know how long we have- but it certainly isn’t long.”
“We must be at one with victory- for Luigi’s sake.”
@@sunmoonfx8251Oh my god the feels it hurts
Would you write a "conclusion" bit that probably align with the normal game? Where they narrowly avoid the long term consequences and such?
@@ultrauno-u9710 I might at some point. Sorry for taking so long to respond- but I'll keep it in mind.
So… the mental collapse is because Luigi got defeated in the real world while he was sleeping, somehow? Just to clarify…
Would they by any chance end up being able to use bros. Attacks from Superstar Saga?
The concept of the story reminds me of a game named The Endless Empty.
Long story short, it takes place in the brain of a singer who just...added some lead to his brain, the express way. You are his identity, and explore his dying brain to face and ally with various facets of his psyche even as everything breaks down around you. You can't save him or anything, but you can give a meaning to the entire tragedy by finding out more about him and his story.
We can hear the boss defeat sound effect in the end

I think the chiptune sound works here since you’re exploring Luigi’s mind, meaning you’re also exploring his deteriorating memories
Epic Mickey: Dimensional Bros.
Love how at the end it sounds like a distorted version of the soudn that plays when a boss is defeated
This goes hard
I love it, it has some mario and luigi style but keeping its dark/creepy part, very good
Okay, normally I don't comment multiple times, but I came up with an idea if you ever decide to remaster (also fyi there *should* be a converter for .RSD into mp3 or sf2):
Extending the song would also help with the idea.
So kinda like the newer Paper Mario games, where the final area theme plays both in field and in battle?
@@Not_C64 yeah
With the absurd abominations that appear, there should be points where Luigi gets an adrenaline boost of some kind. Perhaps during a particularly hard boss or a event. The deterioration doesn't go away, but everything regains it's color for a bit. Making up possibly lost time
During said moments, Luigi could possibly unlock a bros attack temporarily, but has limited BP during the fight.
It seems your journey isnt finished yet.”
I pictured the one luigi clone there as a sort of super boss, so i had to do that bit of dialouge lol. Song is great btw. Real emotional 😢
mario and luigi dream team was such a great game and concept. im really happy to see this game have stuff like this.
I like to think that the Luiginary attacks would flat out be unusable, and here’s why
So you know how Luiginary attacks all involve summoning a bunch of Luiginoids? And you know how Luiginoids in this spooky spaghetti are aggressive? I’m pretty sure if they used any kind of Luiginary attack, Mario would just die
But Bros Attacks would be usable in their place. You gotta be careful of the noise though or it may attract more Luiginoids into the fray
or the luiginary attacks are used against mario, although strangely different as theyre just confused and thinking taking mario out will somehow save him
This would be cool mechanic do try and take them out with a bro attack but risk more of them show up or take longer to take one out with basic attacks
@@codster3721they don’t think that taking Mario out will save Mario or Luigi, the Luiginoids hunt Mario down and try to end him so that Luigi can rest in peace since Luigi is desperately and barely holding onto the dream world to save Mario, which won’t let him die peacefully
Happy birthday to this beautiful song (19/8/24)
🥹🥹🥹
imagine the concept in which when Mario of Luigi dies there body remains and in this instance Luigi dies and respawns but he freaks out as nothing he does will open a dream world portal to the dream world of his dead body causing extreme stress as he realizes the more his old body decays the less of a chance of Mario escaping as if he gets smeared into nothingness he wont respawn and will be gone for good
That makes sense as an alternate take on things.
mario & luigi: electro dream
I just was searching for the music of the M&L series, but this is incredible, Amazing work!!!

LUIGI NOOOO-

i rarely see people talking about the fact the song ends with a distorted boss defeat sound showing they defeated the contorted Luiginoid
It sounds like something you were here on the radio man.
Now, I actually wanna play this on my radio.
People in the comments not realizing it’s called mario dream team and not mario & luigi dream team is crazy
Dawg what? It is Mario & Luigi Dream Team
Oh wait nvm I see what you were talking about my bad 😅
i have a different take on this creepy pasta
so basicly, its like normal where luigi dies while hes sleeping with mario in the dream world with his last thought before losing consciousness was saving mario, so dreamy luigi is doing his best to help mario to the real world.
but when mario enterd the dream world (before luigi died) he had 2, 1-ups but when he tried one on dreamy luigi it didnt work, so he realized he needed to get the 1-up to luigi in the real world, but the luiginarys dont know this, so they are trying to kill mario for the 1-up to use on either themselves or dreamy luigi (idk) and it can have 3 endings,
good ending: Mario escapes and revives luigi.
meh ending: mario dies in the dream world and has to use the 1-up then escapes, but now has no way to get a 1-up in time to save luigi
bad: ending, mario dies again after using the 1-up and dies in the dream world
Luigi health: Dead mario health: PAIN
I love the fact that luigi doesnt has health point at all... im ugly crying rn
I love this so much
I wish this was in the actual game
(Hopefully someone will make a rom hack and a good one too
this is so cool i lovethissss
weirdly, it give Godzilla NES vibes, BUT WHY DO ALL THESE CREEPYPASTAS HAVE TO DO WITH LUIGI BEING DEAD!?
there certainly isn't a dream here
Alt title: Loss in the Dream World
Thinking about it, itd be cool if a mario dream team fangame were to give vives similar to an ai generated video, where the landscapes morph into different shapes, the different luigi creatures morphing into things, etc.
This is amazing good job
I love it, but the fact it's very chiptune doesn't make it feel very Dream Team-y
I agree
just press A when the attack is about to hit ez
I'd let this slide if the Mario Bros. weren't basically immortals, then again the one game where you could literally wish someone dead is Dream Team.
for some reason i cant take Guiyii off my mind whenever im looking at the Luigi at the right, it really looks like him
Y'know, I can honestly imagine this happening either after the giant battle with Bower, or the Final Fight with Antasima, leading to a timed event where you need to escape the dream world quickly, or else you'll get a game over, similarly to the timed bomb event in TTYD, since Antasima and their magic could be reaking havok on Luigi and his mental state
I literally cannot sleep now that i know about the story.
It's okay!It just shows you really care for him

Me parece que mario dream team sera parte de mario's madness
what's the context
This explains it pretty well: twitter.com/Triki_Tr0y/status/1659799316746104832
Luigi is dead and Mario is trapped in Hell
Mario and Luigi were fighting Antasma in the Dream World, something happened (I think the stress of the magic or something was too much for Luigi's mind?), mortally injuring Luigi in the real world, and now the Dream World, along with the Luigi clones, are rotting along with Luigi's corpse in the real world.
The real Luigi, with what little life he has left (he refuses to die, essentially becoming a living corpse) does his best to help Mario escape from the dying dream world, all while the Luigi clones become ultra violent due to what happened to the real Luigi.
@@reddodeado301That's really cool

we got brother ship now and this is basically last brother ship
Headache nightmare
Why modern creepypastas have groovy music?
cuz it hits
So this is the reason why sega copy Alphadream...
wow
so what i like to assume regarding bros attacks, Mario has the normal ones since realistically, mario would still have them and dreamy luigi(or real luigi, whatever ye want to call em) has weaker and higher costing bros attacks from previous games, like for example the copy flower not being infinite, snack basket only giving half the snacks and luigi does not do a flip at the end, the magic window also not going infinite and Mario not being able to participate, so on
Yeah i have to agree with what people are saying...like not even dream team...it just doesnt even really seem like a Mario & Luigi song its not bad but if the image wasnt here or the title i would not associate it with Mario
Is it just me or can you see a siluetee of Luigi in the background
...So is this some sort of boss battle I'm seeing here? Like after the boss battle Mario gets out? And says goodbye to Luigi?
this ain’t official to the story besides the art, not really any lore tied to this
man cool concept im just questioning why mario has his low hp animation when he is not at the low hp which is red and pink instead of yellow (still really like the creepypasta)
Because he's sad
Probably because the crippling and deteriorating area in the memories of Luigi that he’s in are affecting his health and making him tired
who made the original creepypasta
what is that game?
It's a creepy pasta based of Mario and Luigi dream team that released for the Nintendo 3DS called Mario dream team

this is in reality a creppypasta that i found in youtube
Mario &:
*Mario &* Łᵾīꞡī dream team
What is the context?
