Disney Sea is the best looking Disney Theme Park because Its not owned or operated by Disney. Sometimes i wish Oriental Land Company would just make their own Disney Theme Park in the US. The other thing that remarkable is how fast OLC build their attractions. I have not done the math but i know its a lot faster then in the US. I would love to go there in my lifetime.

Thank you for getting great footage of the Archives exhibit. We totally forgot to go through there. And, for us, MOG was a let down this year. 2019 Expo I bought a TON of stuff. This year…meh…probably spent a fifth as much. And I wish they hadn’t split up the stores. Used to be 3. This year there were 6 or so and all virtual boarding groups only. Didn’t know what would be in each store and wasted time finally getting a group, waiting to get in, just to find that I didn’t want much in there. But, this was my only con this year. Rest of the Expo was excellent. Much smoother operations than the previous 4 years that we’ve been.
So you can see a disco light how coming from the inside at the top…. My prediction is that the mama Odie singing with all the animals and all the colorful lights is probably gonna be inside the lift hill before the big drop or just at the top and then you get up fall out the bottom of the boat or something like that.
On Disney+ there is something called Prop Culture. Back to the Movies. It is absolutely fascinating. All about some of the props used in Tron, Mary Poppins and others. You need to watch it! It gave me chills.
Thanks for showing us all of these things from D23. You wouldn’t see any of this on most TH-cam videos. Everything‘s always about the coverage of the big news from panels and stuff.
My wild guess to explain the mountain: Through mysterious means, a mountain suddenly appears in the Bayou. Tiana and Company go on an Adventure to explore the area.

But they all seemed to go through the exhibition area's on fast foreward. You hardly got to see anything in any detail. They needed more willow trees etc to create a bayou theme outdoors. I think a Pocahontas ride would have been amazing. Why can’t we do more with the classics? I’m surprised they did an entire ride for a movie I hardly ever hear anyone talk about. Oh well.
A place that inspired Walt outside the roundabout in Griffith Park and Marceline is Silver Springs Florida. When I visited and I saw the glass bottom boats and the park it screamed Disneyland. I don’t think that park gets enough credit.

I was there only on Saturday.. I had gotten lucky and got a reservation to the Big Hall D23 panel with Lucasfilm/Marvel and 20th century fox but I had got in a virtual que for MOG.. I left the panel early.. waited another 25 mins to get in there and was so disappointed.. never again. There was nothing I really liked.
No Peoplemover announcement so far on Sunday! New Characters, Fireworks , Parade and Tiana’s Mountain downgrade. Disneyland gets the shaft as usual..all about Asia!
Lol David's never been in line for Splash Mountain longer than 30 minutes it seems. Those trees above Brier Patch are already out there about 45mins into the queue. The night time imaging of Tiana's Bayou looks ok but overall I can't help but notice this is just a poorly concepted overlay when what needs to happen is an entire overhaul. I love Splash Mountain and would prefer it stay the way it is without letting Twitter activists dictate Disneyland history, but as David points out there are no mountains in the bayou.. in fact, the stretch of land between NOLA and Lake Pontchartrain is so far below sea level they need 17ft dams to keep the water out of all the wards. It feels like Imagineering didn't bother with actual research on southern red clay versus marshland alluvium deposits that we see in the bayou. Also, they're keeping the exterior lumber mill which I would hate to see go, but in a supposedly Southern Louisiana swamp spot it's a laughable idea. I know I'm being too technical here but it's from a place Imagineering USED to go and doesn't appear to even bother with anymore. I think I'll just take my money to Universal if the experience will end up being the same. Half-assed.

Update: Tokyo Disney Resort had initiated a New policy that upset many vloggers, Disney influencers, and live streamers. The new policy bans commercial filming, auxiliary equipment, and “public transmission or recording of any kind that may inconvenience other Guests.” Tokyo Disney Resort already bans filming on rides at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, which is one of the strictest Disney Parks policies in the world. Disney Parks fans around the world are thrilled with this news, they wish all of the Parks would instate stricter filming guidelines. “Who cares why, some vloggers are disruptive to the normal guests. who wants to go to a park and hear someone talk on a ride, have their camera in their face, or lights on in a dark ride etc, they wrote.

I feel like Disney is just cramming Tiana into an existing ride for the sake of doing it (to make the SJW crowd happy) but it doesn't really make sense. The water tower is very familiar. Is that the same water tower from Disney Springs with a different logo? The ride feels like it's just going to be a basic cheap reskin with new fake plants glued on the outside of the "mountain?"...This has Bob Paycheck and current Disney leadership written all over it. Not impressed personally but whatever. Times always change.
Tiana's Bayou without the boat at the top like in the concept art, makes that attraction look boring from afar. Where's the visual weenie? What could have been a wow moment is now just a meh for me. Disappointing developments.

I've been reading Bob Chapek announced at D23 an expansion and an attraction to include the multiverse concept and a ride where you can fight alongside Marvel heroes? Please confirm. I also noticed Oswald in some of the art outside of D23. I love Oswald. If they have anything on Oswald, I hope you're able to find it, considering the Anaheim Convention Center is huge.

We need to be looking at Tokyo Disneyland for guidance on how to build new attractions
Step one is to not have Disney own the parks. The Tokyo parks are run so well because they aren’t owned by Disney.
