There's nothing like going home and enjoying our parents, and remember the old times when we were kids. You should go back as often as you can while you still have reason to. And what is it about french fries that are done to perfection that makes you sit up and take notice. Almost makes your whole day. LOL
Yay! My husband's from SC and I'm from Hollister. 2 of my favorite places. We have recently retired to the mountains of Gold Country in Calaveras county, but I still get to Hollister at least once a month. Love that town! Go Hay Balers!
Hi Mike, Hi Kerry, good to see you both again and looking so well, nice to meet your dad Mike, what a nice man and a lovely place he lives and it was nice to see the walk he takes and the scenery.. Its nice to hear the sound of the water coming in and just to sit and watch it and the people.. Good to see your dad looking so healthy and as always enjoyed the video and seeing where you lived..Continue to keep well both of you and take care, look forward to seeing you again soon. Love you both..K.
Hello guys look like you’re enjoying your bus and having a great time cool to your dad 80 that’s great 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 I am in the Washington DC area if you ever in that way look me up
Mike literally lite up going home it was lovely to see. Your dad is healthier than I am but what a lovely location to do his 3 mile walk. Catching up with family is the best there is nothing like it. I'm glad you had a fantastic time. Take care and drive safe 🤗
Wonderful video all around! I did wonder if the new exhaust pipe fixed the diesel from blowing suet on your suv? Your dad is cool. Mine will soon be 83 and very active too. It's nice to see dads living longer!
That is very good question! We didn't film when he first came in. He was very impressed and he routinely says how impressed he is with what we have done with this bus so, I think he's very happy with it. He has been extremely supportive of our choice to pursue this lifestyle as well.

We did not go to the staff of life. Honestly I can't stand the smell of patchouli oil!!!😂😂😂 We did however have a wonderful dinner at the Crow's nest like we do every time we visit my father in Santa Cruz..
There’s a channel called BRUPEG, a kiwi couple refitting a steel trawler in Australia, anyway, they’ve been using this music for years, it’s really weird to hear it here too.
@@BussyMcBusface actually they spend most of the summer at our lake which is in the foothills, it’s all foggy and they want some heat! We have houseboats right next to each other, Lake McClure. Thanks for the nice replies!!!
I'm from Orlando Fl, and I understand the whole population explosion, and I can't afford to live where I grew up...I'm familiar with the Santa Cruz brand being a skateboarder most of my teen years, beautiful place, great vid, thanks
Show it has been tabled for now. We sent the wind generator that we had back because it wasn't nearly meeting the spec that they advertise. If we get a better one I will definitely do a video of it.
Didn't know you grew up in Santa Cruz. Plus you cruised thru my town of Newport Beach. I know we ain't got a whole lot of spaces or camp grounds available but if ide known could have parked in front of my house with electricity and i know of a free dump place real close.next time you guys next time. Long hot showers gallor, trash service. And backyard movie fire BBQ every warm night. Would love to host you guys next time.
Mavericks Lost-Boys. Anything that is on the water is expensive unless you go back 50-60 years. Mike that's just ventilation you can get 4 more years with that shirt.

Hey Mike, as we’ve met Kerry’s daughter, son & grandson…are we going to be able to meet your kids sometime please?
We shall see.

Hey y’all great video, at least you didn’t have to hook your Jeep up to leave😂

You’re absolutely right about the affluent changes, it’s just terrible!
Right? With affluence comes gentrification, etc...

😎😎👍🏻👍🏻👏👏NICE!!
Go by pizza my heart and get a slice of the Big Sur! LOL Sorry i could not resist! Woo hoo!
That is my favorite pizza. Hands down! I think we ate there more than once while we were in Santa Cruz just because it is amazing!
Thank you for sharing. Any news about your wind power project?

I could sit and listen to the ocean for hours! Why are there no seashells there?
God that brings back memories. If only Cali was still sane and not so expensive.
How far ahead did you have to make your reservation for Seacliff?
6 months! We missed the date we were hoping for because we forgot to set a reminder on our phones!
@@BussyMcBusface damn, space cadets! We have to wait to make ours because they won’t accept anything before 6 months....that’s just stupid!
thanks

Ehych! Look at that killer under-tow.
Didn't know Arizona boy was a California dude!
Spent my time in Santa Cruz surfing virtually every single day.

Waiting so long for your food you lost your Meeellllooooo!
the cat is the culprit
I was stationed at Ft Ord California , Monterey area. Cali used to be cool, now days I wouldn’t get caught dead in that state
I grew up in the Bay Area and pretty much feel the same way.
7th Light Infantry? HOOOAH!
I’m seeing a pattern here. Me thinks you’re becoming beach peoples.
Man if we could find a permanent Beach to park this bus on we would stay there forever!!
Don't stay here too long...fuel is stupidly HIGH and so is everything else.
