After you've been on the road, it can feel like such a relief to stay in one place for awhile! It gives you a chance to take care of the things you put on hold while you were travelling, like home repairs or vehicle maintenance. In our case, it also means spending time with family (and celebrating a birthday) since they're only an hour away from where we stay! Not to mention, it's pretty darn nice that Mike's current job is only 15 steps away!

    About Us:
Hi! We're Mike & Kerry, the proud owners of a 1992 Bluebird rear engine (pusher), 40' school bus! We named her Bussy McBusface in honor of the RRS Boaty McBoatface travesty!
We built a Tiny-Home-in-a-Bus for full-time living in the most adventure-friendly way possible. Bussy was never meant to be parked in a driveway, waiting for weekend trips or holiday getaways. After we finished the build, we packed everything we kept into the bus and drove away from our old house and into the world of off-grid living, aka boondocking, and endless travel adventures!
Since we planned to be boondocking the majority of the time, we made choices such as; a 100-gallon water tank, an Air Head composting toilet, a 1500w solar power system with 1000Ah in AGM batteries, etc. We'd love to have you stick around and follow us on our journey, from our Skoolie Build Series, to infinite buslife adventures beyond!
    Mike & Kerry

What a cutie grandbaby you have. They always go or the cheapest toys rather than the expensive stuff.

LOL at Mamacita and the twizzler! Too cute! She's been watching too many videos of dogs getting up on their owner's lap and stealing snacks.

Omg.... That thing is a BEAST!!!! and yes, if you have ever seen an up armored Humvee up close, you would know that you can stack some serious weight on that chassis without any worries... And the sign over Mikes desk should read "Mikegyver's Corner"

You might consider installing on the build project a 'in'clinometer for pitch and roll angles since the rig will probably be top-heavy. Once the rig is completed and loaded, in a controlled area where you can use safety chains lift the right/left sides until the rig wants to roll over. Make note of the roll angle so you don't exceed it. ~Just a thought. ~

We realized halfway there that we didn't put it in the car so the next time I go down there he's getting a bus!

Was that a Siamese with balloon? Gorgeous! 💗🐈
I think I need an emotional support balloon after watching this. 💖🍕🎈

Damn, I almost forgot that you fixed the Jeep on today's episode... I remember watching you back up on the bus that first day and thinking, you can't do that..... And my heart just sunk when I saw the damage that was done... 😥... But, she's looking pretty again!!! 😃... Just so you know... Rapto Liner does come in white... I'd say to paint the grill and new bumper black (with Rapto) and about a foot up the hood and back on the front fenders with white... Just my 2¢... (Wait, with those current inflation numbers, I may only be able to give you my 1¢ opinion today!!)

This is what happens when you buy a tin foil car. Look how thin that metal is.
