They really should stop fixing that mess with side material. That only works in the Prequels and Eps. VII and VIII in mind. Just give us a Trevorrow Cut or something. It's grimdark, yes, but a nice change of pace in Star Wars and Disney storytelling. Also, more coherent characterization, especially with Finn, Poe, and poor Rose.
Now, if I could just put SvtFoE's Season 4, SW: TOR (in the hopes it becomes a proper KotOR III), Turok 3, Quake 4, Halo 5: Guardians (also Infinite, if that comes out sucky), Resident Evil 6, Warcraft III: Deforged, Hunt Down the Freeman, Mass Effect 3 and the novel Deception (the former's great, it just needs improvement; the latter is just due for a revision), Tiberian Twilight (hope it'll become Tiberian Incursions), Battlestar Galactica's third and fourth revival seasons, Buffy the Vampire Slayer Seasons 6 and 7, and Star Wars Legends' Denning-verse into that damn cube... I am a very complainant (and fix fic addicted) man when it comes to fiction.

The sith were hidden away from space… Sadow manipulated the sith back into hyperspace travel and presenting themselves to the established Jedi order and Old Republic… the republic squashed the sith and Sadow died, but Kun revived their mission after trying to find sith secrets and giving into the dark side. His all out assault on the republic was a blindsided attack that no one saw coming… Jedi lost alot of good people. Almost got wiped out.
@@eagarmp Exar Kun’s and Ulic Qel-Droma’s fall to darkness was a major turning point in the history of the Jedi Order, and in some ways pushed them to become from an open-minded but strict order into the child-recruiting, attachments-forbidding cult that appears in the prequels. Also Kun is responsible for almost killing the entire leadership of the whole Galactic Republic in a single day and he created mutated Terentateks that infested much of the dark places of the Galaxy in the millennia to come after his physical death.
It’s too bad that this story can’t be included into canon anymore, since in the new canon it was confirmed that Lady Corvax’s Eon engine is responsible for Mustifar’s devastation.

I'm curious if what happened to Mustafar is similar to what happened to Tatooine to be at one time a lush world then devastated wasteland
Tatooine WAS in fact a nice place at one point. Planet got glassed during some ancient war. Not sure if it was during the Rakkata's Infinite Empire or even earlier than that.

Some of them actually survived by hiding in underground caverns but, with their society and planet wrecked, eventually devolved into two separate lines, the Tuskens and Jawas. Edit: found the species's name, it's Kumumgah.
I remember Wookiepedia only mentioned the “ancient Sith” were responsible for Mustafar’s devastation in 3996 BBY involving a relic called the Chu-Gon Dar Cube, but given Exar Kun’s fascination with holocrons pertaining to the Force and its knowledge, it makes sense.
It's always weird to me when you see pics of the older era Jedi and Sith and it's like they just took a bunch of Roman soldiers and handed out some lightsabers/protosabers with the occasional blaster showing up here and there. Right, not really relevant, nice lore vid! Thanks for uploading
There was a Sith Sorceress name Aleema Keto who used some sort of weapon or technique to devastate Ossus and a number of nearby worlds such as Urkup, the Dashade homeworld, and she was working under Exar Kun. She or someone using a similar technique was likely what caused the phenomenon on Mustafar as well.

In the new canon there's actually a backstory for this involving a female Sith named Corvax who tried to use something called the Aeon engine to resurrect her dead husband or something like that. It could be surprisingly easy to retcon into the Great Sith War plot and there's very little contradicting it in Legends since the details of the conflict there were more vague.

Yet people really try to say that the EU was a clusterfuck of stories mashed together. The EU is what made Star Wars amazing. The Expanded Universe makes Disney Canon seem like a knockoff of what Star Wars was supposed to be

Studying physics really makes you overthink things. I know it's Star Wars and there's lots of things im willing to ignore for the sake of entertainment but this story bugs me. It seems like the writers looked up some orbital physics but didn't really understand it. I definitely don't understand everything, especially not when you start to get into geodesics, but I don't see how a body approaching a roche limit where it would start to be ripped apart could find a lagrange point between two super massive gas giants, and the gas giants not have such a force on each other that they aren't crashing into each other. Either way, great video. I love Star Wars as much as I love physics, and while there's concessions I need to make to enjoy both, I have really loved putting your videos on in the background as I do HW.
Hmm, not sure if I should deem this canon even in Legends. Never was a fan of Galaxies, plus the fact that the game contradicts a whole lot and is never even talked about in the lore... just like The Crystal Star and the Jedi Prince books before it.
I don’t understand why they don’t just make stand alone movies for characters like exar kun, instead they give us trash like Han Solo movie literally one of the most fleshed out characters that appears in like 5 films already.
