- A full length video demonstrating the technique on how to stuff vine leaves, the Cypriot way! With my special guest - my yiayia. Ingredients list below, full recipe in my book Taverna.
Ingredients:
2 onions
4 tablespoons olive oil
500g pork mince
sea salt
5 tomatoes
2 tablespoons tomato purée
200g medium grain rice
1 tablespoon dried mint
1⁄2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1⁄2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1⁄2 a bunch of flat-leaf parsley
50 vine leaves (or you could try filling onions, courgettes, tomatoes and peppers)
2 potatoes
800ml chicken stock
2 lemons
Just did this recipe today and I have to say that it is exactly how mom does kupepia! Perfection 🥰
We need more of your cooking videos please.
I think the cypriot koupepia are the best. Their flavours range from tang to vegetable, to tomatoee, and they just melt in the mouth. And the home smells wonderful while it's cooking with it's aromas. it trascends. thank you I've enjoyed this video. My regards to your yiayia
I was looking at Dolmade recipes and I think yours is the way to go by lining the base of the pan with sliced tomato's. Good kitchen trick and Add's more flavor too.

Thanks so much for this lovely recipe... I will do it today.... regards from Chile 🇨🇱
lovely recipe. thans so much
Adorable 🥰 you two should have a show together ❤
Mybmother makes these. She's Cypriot, too. So much better than the other versions👍👌
Greek Grannies are the best. Elderly cousins next. Just learning to cook after losing my wife recently. Thank you for making it simple.
Your yiayia is so beautiful and vibrant. ♥️
When I went to Cyprus a few years ago I was in a Taverna near Polis and tried the Moussaka.. It was beautiful but I found there was so much potato and little sauce. I like a lot of tomato sauce with loads of the wild Cyprus Oregano. At some point I would love to see your take on Moussaka. Thank you for a great video!
Cyprus we put lemon on nearly everything :) .and as she said yogurt and salad is a must with 90% of the time.
Bravo, orea 👌👌👌
Hello Georgina, I thank you for the recipe, my family love koupepia. I watched you this morning on Saturday Kitchen and you made breakfast pancakes with ANARI. Do you know where I get get this gorgeous cheese, somehow Ricotta doesn’t cut it for me 😂😂 help please 40 years ago I used to get my mum to visit from Cyprus so that she could bring me baby cucumbers, fresh coriander and halloumi…most things we can get now here but I cannot find anari and my mummy is dead now😢 Maria
Stuffed grape leaves at Kroger (with no meat in them) are more than $5 for 8 or 9 little rolled up gems. I need to be able to make them at home just to save some money! This recipe is awesome! Thank you for posting! 💞💖💗
Tedious very nice video ❤❤❤❤
wow ,,,,nice food
Nice one 👌 ekamata simmera 🎉

I like cyprus foods.before i am in worked cyprus
Just made some, husband and daughter both say it is just like my Cypriot mother in law's
don't let your mother in law hear that. Best you lie to her and tell her no one can make them as great as her.
What's the chicken stock for?
You show potatoes in the ingredients but potatoes not shown in video
Do more videos please
On you recipe you say 2 potatoes & 800 mil of chicken stock but, this is nowhere in the video..
please let me know if they are needed
Thank you x
I came to ask about this
