You have done the most accurate video on information for winter fishing I have ever watched. I have fly fished for 45 years. All year round and I can say all your information is 100 percent correct.
It is a really good video. Factual, simple, the stuff people want to know….versus like the glory drone shots or showing the one fish it took them 5hrs to catch
Great information . I've been fishing in winter for several years and these fly recommendations are in line with what I have used...very good overview!
This is very helpful. I'm in Indiana and we have only a handful of creeks that are stocked with trout and so far I've had zero luck. I got a lot of this same advice from my local fly shops. Not going to stop trying though
I began fly fishing in 1958. I always loved winter fly fishing in PA, Potter, Tioga, Crawford Co, in fact I had and still have a very old PA stream map I acquired from Harrisburg. It’s huge. I have documented each stream I have fished. Hundreds all over PA. Now 77, my bucket list includes moving back to PA. Maybe around Mix Run. Great area to stretch out and do some Brookie hunting. Back to my roots.
Great job! One of the best, most concise tutorials I've ever seen on YT. Friendly, engaging, and delivered in a most professional manner. Cheers from a new sub.
Nate, great job on the fantastically detailed video with tons of helpful information and great editing! Also, I am currently working on some content fly fishing Lake Michigan Brown Trout featuring Fly Crate streamer flies!
You lost me at freezing begins at 32 degrees. That is not true. More at around 36 as the wind chill out on the guides as you cast your rod. Not sure this guy has a clue. Also with no brim on your hat while it is snowing you will end up with a wet face. Find a more reliable source.

Thank you Ron! I really appreciate it 🙏

That's incredible! Brookies are my favorite, plus it takes you away from the crowds. Best of luck to you.
Such a great video, chocked full of all useful info. Thanks for sharing.
Cool video. Im in the Eastern Sierras fishing now. Morning temp was 27 degrees. Layer up with Merino Wool!
Love that stuff. Best thing on earth. Best of luck to you! Tight lines. ~ Nate

How to fly fish in the winter: Dress appropriately.
Go Fish.
It's not Rocket Science.
I have to draw the line when the guides constantly freeze up! I usually try to get a 40 degree day!
Three solutions for guide icing, Tenkara style rod, has no eyes to ice.
Thanks for the video. The whoosh noise between scene change is very annoying.
Good video but the zoom ins and swipe sounds were annoying and terrible...please don't do that anymore editor!
Grow a pair
Very informative video. But the transitions are very annoying...
😂🤣😂🤣
Good or bad 😅

It's the small things! Thank you for the input 🙂
Haters going to hate.
You're arguing over 4 degrees and a beanie on a dude's head?
Dude, get a life!
Has noting to do with life, rather facts of science. @@bobstl8647
