- It’s time for our most epic trip yet and before that we are staying at the Renaissance Hotel London Heathrow. Here’s our experience at this hotel and our executive room with runway views and access to the executive lounge. We also cover parking, location, transfers to the airport plus menus and facilities at the hotel. What do you think? Would you stay here?

Our epic journey and holiday begin! Soooo excited!
Thank you travel log Jamie you have made choosing the hotel a lot easier
You’re very welcome
I stayed there 4 times and every single time was an excellent experience and in September 2024 will be my 5th time
👍👍👍
Lovely review, We’re booked to stay here again in November the night before we fly to Orlando. We’re staying in one of the suites this time around as a bit of a treat. Safe journeys and best wishes
Oh lovely treat for you!!
Safe journey both. Love your blogs informative and entertaining at the same time. Look forward to your next adventure. X
Thank you 🙏
Love a bit of lounge access! Really good value. Well worth having if you know you're going to have a few.
Definitely had a few 😂
Looks an absolutely brilliant hotel and definitely worth the money for the extras. I'd be quite happy to sit in the chair at the window and just watch the planes go by the whole day
That’s exactly what I think too!
I stayed in the Executive double before my honeymoon to Mauritius 🥰 It was a long time ago and we are now divorced 😶But the room had nowt to do with that and I LOVED it! I'm a total avgeek and we loved watching the planes. It's had a revamp (probably more than one) since we stayed there, but the view never changes. I would give this a very big thumbs up for anyone that likes runway views. BTW I've also stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn at Terminal 2 in a high floor with runway views. It wins for accessability to the airport (walk out, through a bit of car park and you are in Terminal 2) - but the views aren't as good so I'd probably go for the Renaissance. We got a black cab back to the hotel from Terminal 3 I think, and the driver was pretty peed off to get such a short ride - so bear that in mind! Looking forward to the rest of the trip!
Thanks for the info 🙏🙏🙏
Where does one go for milk? The food court at Harrods according to Patsy Stone and the grocery according to Saffron. Make sure to grab 3+ trolleys on the way. 😮. Watch your language /s
Ah someone who gets it 😂🥂
I would have to get room service because I would be glued to that window. Expecially if the a380 was coming in or out ❤
Well plenty of room service!
That’s the best room! I could sit and watch for ages. We are stopping over pre flight next month but a different hotel as need on site car parking for the holiday duration. Great informative video. Have a great holiday
I could plane spot forever ❤️
As always enjoyed the vid. Thank you for making the video! I was in London in March and there was a Tube strike the day I needed to get to Heathrow for my flight. I booked a room at this hotel as backup plan. Ended up being able to grab a bus from my Kensington hotel to Paddington and then to Heathrow on the Express. Wil certainly have this property in mind for the future. (Catching the bus was an adventure in and of itself.)
Thank you so much 😊 Oh a lot of tube / rail strikes at the moment!
I first stayed in this hotel back in the 90’s when it was called the Penta there was a pool and health and fitness centre too. It’s a nice airport hotel.
👍👍👍
Beautiful.
❤️❤️❤️
Hi Jamie Amanda has always wanted 2 stay pre flight. Defo going 2 do now
Really liked it here!
You should have gone to the Pheasant pub which is down the side road of the Edwardian Hotel or to the Three Magpies on the Bath Road.. Great spot for planes though…❤
We weren’t at all needing to - alcohol and food included in our package
Hey! Nice video. Can you tell me how to reach from Heathrow Airport to this hotel? Do they provide a pick up service from Airport?
Hi - all that info is in the vlog I’m thinking maybe you skipped over it / didn’t quite get to it
We stayed here just for a night with a runway view for my little boys 6th birthday as he’s plane mad! We loved our hotel room very spacious and clean! The exec room was worth doing too and the main restaurant food was very nice aswell, I would recommend staying here 🫡👍🏻
❤️❤️❤️
What was you time between Orlando cruise and the Disney holiday? Shame it didn’t run on so you don’t have to fly back and forth!
4 1/2 days - it wasn’t a problem as I had to be home and stayed in US eastern time. Also, a single flight home would have cost a fortune
@@TravelBlogJamie just time to wash your smalls and repack them 😂
@@jolilly4264 oh blimey I did a lot of work those 4 1/2 days!!
I’ve stayed there and loved the runway views as I’m quite an av geek. P.s. can you change my name on the Patreon shout outs to ‘Paula’ rather than Paul? Thanks! 😜
Oh didn’t notice that! Will change!
Fixed it now but won’t appear until the next vlog I upload (so, next Saturday)
@@TravelBlogJamie thank you so much. Enjoy Disney!
I was a little disappointed with the window because they’re set deep. Your range of plane spotting is limited. I relied on FlightRadar24 to see what was coming in/taking off. On the other hand, you do get an amazing view! I’m short so that tub was a real challenge… lol
👍👍👍
Cool vlog would you rate the lounge....can you access it more than once
You can access it as much as you want during your stay
