It’s depend on what u prefer to use more , for most people ichimoji double is enough for 1st playthough but I like EMD better .Is so good at punishing boss.in the end game there a place u can farm when you run back to ashina outskirts(cross the newly build bridge )idol near a canon of the red solider .before fighting the final boss I recommend u buy all mask flagments,kill owl father and DMH to have 3 more atk power (P/s:when jumping and use any version of MD the dmg output equal to charged EMD)
I ended up using the senpou leaping kicks as my main skill, gave me a counter to sweep attacks which was useful. The High Monk version always felt a little underwhelming to me, so do with that what you will
Mortal draw with spirit emblems has a extended thing like shockwaves, which does extra damage. While no spirit emblems mortal draw doesn't has one, which makes it shorter and less powerful.

It's crazy how normal mortal draw also works effectively on Owl
Im near the end of my first Sekiro playthrough. Is it worth getting the empowered versions of these abilities? They take so long to grind the exp.

the spiral cloud passage is goated for multiple enemies

practice the bosses until you can consistently beat them and then just farm xp by beating NG+
How did you not lose any spirit emblems?

you can use mortal draw as much as you like 😁🙌🏾 but when you run out of emblems it's not as powerful that's all. use it as much as you want
