Appreciate the effort of your daughters, team and all associated to develop such good value for all those who aspire for quality in life, and not just minting money. God bless!
Dear Ma'am You and your family doing really a wonderful job. I see you work as giving back to mother earth🙏 I am really inspired and motivated 🙏 Thanks for making such informative videos. Regards, Neens
Thank you for this video. This answered quite a few of my questions. A 5 person army manning your 12 acre farm is fabulous. Your videos are fast becoming a big inspiration for me to start my own project on our ancestral land. I only wish my father had not sold off a substantial portion of it. Finally a big thumbs up to Radha & Eera. ( I do hope I have spelled it correctly. Apologies if I haven't)
Viewed the complete video....ma'am u are lucky enough to have such dedicated work force. Jzt reminded me about my case. I too am a banker by profession, have a farm house measuring 5 acres with 150 mango trees and about 100 teak trees at the boundary. A hill on one side. Everything like yours could have been done. Infact I tried my level best in terms of money. Had 4 cows, 43 hens, two dogs n 2 cocktails. But,,,but,,,the laborers, 3 of them those stupid fellows destroyed my farm. They ruined my dream. It affected my job as well as my farm. U wont believe, every year during winters a herd of elephants would enter my farm during night but would do no damage except breaking one or two branches. Monkeys would wait for us to reach the farm. I loved all these as I love n respect nature. Reason y am sharing all dese with you is ur videos give me respite. I watch all your videos completely as I feel m in my farm. Thought of sharing my experience. God bless you and your family. Keep uploading videos. Thanks a ton for sharing your videos.
Thanks for answering many questions. It has inspired me to start an organic farm somewhere near Mangalore (Karnataka) where I live. Hats off to your young daughters for putting up nice digital content !!
Congrats to whole family. The value you create by using nature and your hard work to permanently enrich it with so much diversity and the inspiration it will give countless others can not be measured with money.
i started watching your videos for information that i could apply to my little plot, but just watching your videos itself gives me a are very soothing and peaceful experience.
Wow.... You r truely a woman of substance for me.... You have a full time job, green heart as a passion , and an amazing family.... What else a person could ask for! Great work dear... 👍🏻👍🏻
Very very inspiring Manisha! After watching your videos - i am hugely inspired to start Permaculture on a small piece of land in Aravalis. I have planted some trees randomly already over the past 2-3 years. Some of the kikar trees are pre-existent. Not sure of the outcome as the land is stony - nevertheless I am all ready to try it out. Congratulations to Radha and Ira for the fantastic job!
Radha and sis, you are really making your momma look good! She look so radiant, knowledgeable in concise presentation. Makes me want to visit your farm.
It was a pleasant experience watching this video, tree behind you, birds & bee's sound throughout... Just like being there... Soothing... Keep it up, God bless you & your daughters...
Watched few anandaa farm's videos. Very inspiring. My family also has a bit of land, which no one takes care of. Trying to create a good ecosystem there.
Each and every video is so well directed won't feel like missing a second of it. So informative and best thing is whoever sees the video will feel even I should start working on field. Big thank you and your family the Aanandaa's. 😊
M learning lot from you..I am from Assam..we have a family land here. M also trying to use permaculture method in our new garden.. thanks 😊 . Keep inspiring us. Your daughter's are doing great.
YOUR DAUGHTERS REALLY DO A GREAT JOB, THEY ARE THE PRESENT GENERATION WHICH IS TECH SAVVY AND ITS GREAT TO KNOW THAT THEY TOO ENJOY AANANDAA AND ITS BEAUTY........
It's been only few days I got to know about permaculture through you and I must say I am so interested in it. We have the land which is barren from years but I never had planted a single plant in it , which m planning to do now. Will msg you after I grow a small garden for myself so that to have knowledge of it. Ur videos are inspiring and also it's important for people who have the land to utilize it for the good of environment.
Fo sho the kids are doing a great job! Just one suggestion, please do keep the opening/background score at the same or lower volume levels as the speech part, so we can sit back and focus on the content than fidgeting with the volume buttons constantly; apart from that, y'all are an awesome team!
The kind of questions being answered are really good. Would like to see more of your experience managing the farm while ecosystem being developed during initial 4-5 years
@@farmaanandaa 1. I know you have done the PDC, however would like to know if you had designed yourself for your farm or some consultant did and you have used the knowledge to do the farming later? 2. As you mentioned 1000 trees planted for 6 acres, how many nitrogen fixers were needed and any specific one you would like to name. 3. Once planted those 1000 trees did you have to water them every day? did you have to put the compost often for their growth as the soil wasn't fertile yet? 4. Looks like you had started putting crops(for example corn and few other) in 6 months to 1 year from the moment windbreaks were planted, was the soil really ready by then? 5. How do manager for drinking water at the farm? 6. Do you have solar panel as well for electricity? 7. any Biogas setup at your farm? 2. knowledge knowledge knowledge
We are inspired with your vedios ,keep posting them more and more,I am working abroad and your farming gives us a clear direction what to do once we return to India.
really you are doing great job mam. You are very inspiring to me as i am also pursuing my agriculture course in punjab and looking forward to meet you in aananda soon and get some knowledge.

Aanandaa The Permaculture Farm this is the video I first saw and remains still one of my inspiring videos... I keep watching and sharing always... great achievement...
All your videos and blogs are mind blowing and very informative. This video specially is very useful for beginners.Great work by you, your daughters and entire family. It would be great if you can make in detailed videos of all the work you and your workforce does on farm. Asking this since many like me don’t have exposure to agriculture and especially to natural farming / permaculture. This can help few of us who are very enthusiastic to contribute something to Mother Earth and future generation. Wish you good health, wealth and happiness. Take care
Your kids are doing a great job and every video there is some improvement in the video quality. When you say tube well, are you mentioning the bore well? How deep is your tube well? At what depth you have got the water at first? Do you check the ground water level every year? If yes, do you see any measurable improvement over these years bcoz of the structures you made to store the water?
Great videos and great answers. Please also make some videos which show all the areas of the farm very well. Thank you for what you are doing to the farm and the ecology.
Thank you for this video. Ive been waiting for a long time for your next video so i was happy to see this one. Enjoyed every bit. Your daughters are doing an amazing job! Keep it up! You must be so proud of them. Thx for the tip on holding on to our main jobs while starting a farm on the side. Waiting for more videos.
Thank You Manisha Ji for wonderful videos. I really appreciate your efforts to set up a farm and then making other people aware and knowledgeable about the permaculture techniques via TH-cam. I need a suggestion about how to grow a farm remotely like I live in USA and I want to setup a farm in India. In your views how much viable is that and if you think it is possible then what should be the approach? Looking forward some thoughts about this in your next videos. Thanks a lot.
Really informative video for beginners. In fact i love all the videos. Please keep them coming. I would like to know more about designing a farm as per the permaculture principles/ nature's principles. and how was the designing done for Aanandaa.
Excellent video. Thank you for sharing. One question that you can add in your next video or address here is - Do you have a boundary wall made of brick on all four sides?
I am inspired how you managed the farm being a woman. I am planning to start soon. I would like to know apart from land cost how much money have you spent in the beginning and what is the size of your farm.
I am confused. In one video you said no tractor allowed but this one says you need thrasher /tractor. Same with enough ponds but tube well not working today
Its not simple to explain, so we can understand the confusion. Lets just say that when yoh start with a new piece of land, there is usually a tractor and borewell involved. As you develop it into permaculture farm, dependence on both go down. Our farm is in differnet stages on this contunuum. So parts are stirctly no tractor. Some new land is still transitioning. Borewell water may be required in some parts. Other may be completely sufficient already. Its a journey. Hope that clarifies.

Does Miyawaki method have any role to play in the process of developing a farm land?
Miyawaki is more of a quick reforestation technique, used for Urban rewilding, or reforestation. It is not used to develop productive landscapes.
You said many things that happen in agriculture.stay blessed.
thank you
Very enlightening. Would be grateful of u could elaborate on the capital required per acre including labour cost , land cost in toto

Hi! Do you use any paper in your pond to store rain water from going into the soil or you just let it set their the way it is..
Many farmers in agriculture farms make ponds using a paper under it to store the same..
I think you mean plastic.
No we don't have a plastic liner. We allow the water to soak in.
Mam, how do you draw water from ponds for distantly trees/plants/vegetable plants?
We don't draw water from ponds. We use a borewell if and when we irrigate.
Thank u mama...many of my questions were answered in details...g88 work Radha n Ira...
You're most welcome
