This time the hot coffee mod comes pre-installed.
Iced coffee>

It was pre installed last time, only it was blocked off by Rockstar.
Wow this was so stupid
😂
I hope it's as detailed as Red Dead Redemption II.
Of course it will be, and probably even more so
Oh it will be and some. The thing with rockstar is they always improve on mechanics. I can’t wait to walk round Florida insulting people 😂
For 13 years of development it better be.
i feel like just like rdr1 was for gta 5, rdr2 will lend a lot of its mechanics and more to gta 6. (like the weapon wheel in rdr1 for example)
My biggest dread is the whole singleplayer is just made with minimal effort and the main focus is online.
The thing with making everything enterable is the Starfield argument of… SHOULD you? If I enter 9-10 apartments and it’s just procedurally generated content of no interest then I’m never going to enter another random apartment again in my entire play-through.
Exactly.
It's like having a huge map, but most of the map is boring and repetitive. Like, no thanks, please make your gameplay areas interesting otherwise I'd rather they not exist.
100% with you, adding stuff to bloat the game like meaningless interiors is not going to be worth it
What matters is if it fits together with the other elements. If you made interiors flow together, so you could evade the police by running through an apartment, onto a balcony, then on a rooftop, then through a mall etc, that would be fun and more varied than just endlessly driving through streets as we’ve always done. Also if the police realistically reacted to your movement in buildings, like blockading the entry points of a building so you have to go up stairwells and across rooftops that would be fun.
@@Autonova that’d be sick if police chased you through interiors, imagine 5 stars they’re spotlighting apartments with a helicopter
You right 🤔
My best friend passed away in December and we played countless hours on Red Dead Redemption online which we met on and then GTA5 online.
I'm sad he won't be able to play this one with me
Sorry for your loss. I hope you'll remember all the good times when you're eventualy playing this though. :)
Life is short
Sorry for your loss, bro.
Thats rough buddy sorry for your loss.
Im so sorry for your loss man💔
Having buildings be "enterable" doesn’t necessarily mean fully explorable. Like, maybe you can enter a hotel lobby but not all the floors, or you can go in and explore a few rooms.
That's what I was thinking... make the lobbies and that's it... maybe a random room generator near the elevators or something that brings u to a random person house to rob
Even gta5 mods allow giant buildings to be enterable, even one with 11 stories and a working elevator.
It’s not about IF they can do it, it’s about WILL they do it. The biggest issue is the time it takes for artists and game designers to create those interiors. Random generation is the answer.
The rooms aren’t randomly generated every time you go in them or load up your game, btw. They’re only randomly generated once during development, but after that those interiors are used the entire time.
the can make it destructible as well, so we could see something similar to rdr2 like people constructing buildings over time, but they always be randomly generated.
or the rooms will be just copy and paste for most buildings
A lack of enterable interiors during free roam was one my main gripes with gtav, but also the fact that they nerfed your control options. I want to be able to walk in anywhere and pull out a gun like gta 4 without restrictions, otherwise the extra interiors will be boring.
I really hope they don't abandon single player post launch like they did to GTA V. It's such wasted potential. Hell, to this day I'd still happily pay like 40-50 bucks for a single player GTA V DLC that literally just ports over Online content (clothes, weapons, vehicles, etc). One day GTA V Online's servers will be shut down and then all of that content will be completely wasted. I'll always hate what Online & Shark Cards has turned Rockstar into.
This is my biggest worry for 6 and why I go back and play San Andreas and Vice City and haven't touched 5 since finishing the story. I know a lot of people like playing gta online but I don't care about it and I hope that doesn't compromise the single player experience.
@@WhiteBorderMTGit makes too much money... it will be their focus. The only issue is that the single player is the only thing that is remember later. Look at Modern Warfare or even GTV SA... ppl still use memes from it to this day. Then look at a game like Fortnite... super popular but there's no real memes or memories from the past
@@Tuelz... that's so true man
Can't wait to buy 104962510$ worth of shark cards just to buy a car in single-player. Everyone that played gta5 and bought shark cards RUINED GTA6. Mark my words I guarantee it. You'd have to be insane to not think Rockstar will capitalize on those ppl from last game.
I’m with you, give me all the story! I know it’s a minority opinion but I could care less about online, however cash is king and where the money goes the CEOs follow😢
All of that sounds good.....but I really just want to be able to use my turn signals on my car 😂😂
Took me like 600 hours before I ever saw even an NPC use turn signal. I just assumed Americans didn't know about it
With a map so big if EVERY building can be entered, the file size might be the whole PS5 hard disk and most of them have similar interiors.
With how tech is consistently changing, I wouldnt be surprised if they find a way to compress the size of each data file. Trust me, a lot of games are starting to be insanely massive without having to be insane on your storage
Will be generated with an algorithm no way theyre hand populating everything with unique assets
Game size mainly consists of how much variety of assets they reuse, not necessarily the size of the map, though I think it is a factor. So if they reuse a lot of assets, you could see a lot of the same objects generated around different areas to keep the size as small as possible.
As a Floridian, i can tell you it's exactly like GTA6 around Spring time.
It's going to be weird that they're going to have to resort to referencing instead of satirizing since real Florida is more ridiculous than anything Rockstar could make up.
So glad they canceled spring break in Miami-Dade! I live in Cutler Bay and am so excited for this game!
@solblackguy weird for Florida but the rest of the world is ready for the madness.
I hope Rockstar will come up with a Parody of Jeremy DeWitte & his Metro-State douchebags. That would be something to see, for sure.
@@LukasHannover1988 yes
I remember the hype levels for the OG release of GTA5 and I’m finally starting to feel that same energy bubbling up for GTA6
Fr, Rockstar always raises the bar with their releases, the only game that came close to Rdr2 was Tlou2 and that was so long ago
@@14mgod tlou2 gameplay/graphics are s tier, story leaves a lot to be desired
Just wait. The hype for 6 is going to far exceed 5. This is because when 5 came out gaming was still more niche than it is now. Yeah gta has always been mainstream but mainstream in a smaller market. Now gaming dominates the entertainment industry. Hell we have game awards shows now back then we didn’t. GTA6 is going to be the biggest release of the past 15 years. It might be so big that Sony’s servers slow to snail on release date from everyone trying to download it.
@@raine-timeyou know what I’ll give you graphics and detail of the world but gameplay was same as the last. Yeah the graphics are extremely impressive since it was PS4 so I’ll give you that.
Lol really? Im not feeling any of it yet and probably won’t until weeks before release. Been waiting since 2013 for this dang game 😂
I would love to see a similar mechanic to RDR 2's horse weapon stowing, where in GTA you could have your weapons stored in your personal vehicles. For example: having long guns stored in your trunk/flat bed (pick-up truck) or even handguns in your glove box. That would be absolutely RAD! Imagine pulling out a shotgun from your trunk and going to town in good ol' GTA fashion. Hell yeah!
I'm really excited to see more from Rockstar as I'm sure they'll hit this one out of the park, no doubt!
This is the only suggestion that I don't think is dogshit lmfao It would add to the cinematography and the immersion if you had to pull over, get to your trunk for the M4 for the car full of goons trying to roll up.
@@Nuka-Rebel right? This would be epic. That was one of my absolute favourite things in Red Dead 2 for that exact reason - the immersion. Adding something similar to GTA would be just as cool, if not, even better!
I think that’s already confirmed by the 2022 leaks.
Credible leaks from a while back said they were playing with having your inventory stored in a 'duffel bag' sort of thing that you could carry around and place in vehicles.
So the player inventory is similar to RDR2, and the rest of your items are in a duffel bag.
That was a few years back though as far as I remember, so whether or not that is still the plan is not known.
@@javannapoli2018 Honestly, that would be even better. I can’t wait to see what they do in this game
Honestly I think the server switching will be implemented like Deadspace Loading Screens. -> Go to your own apartment? Short animation of unlocking the door. Maybe a 10 second elevator ride depending on the Building.
-> Drive to a public event. Like a street race about to start? Maybe have a parking space, then play a short animation of the organizer with a mic hyping up a crowd. Then the race starts. I think Rockstar is gonna find a very elegant solution. Similar how multiplayer missions in watchdogs 2 worked.

Why are people praising the idea of tons of building interiors? it does sound amazing and fun... but as it was gta 5 is over 100gb on pc... and not even half the the building in that game were explorable (I am aware we have much more efficient file packing programs) but the game would still easily pass 200gb in file size... and even if they are procedural, you have to think about the interior walls, the windows from the inside, and the doors these all need to be pre-placed, which in my opinion as a game developer is the longest process because of the thought you must put into architecture
Watch Dogs 1&2 NPCs react to events happening in their vicinity, like someone calling the cops when they see fighting or an accident.
watch dogs 2 is underrated
@@noose04 Agreed, though I found the characters kinda cringy. I prefer the dark and grity tone of the first one.
In terms of gameplay though, the second is a big improvement.
@@d3knot true
Lol the NPCs would probably pull out their phones and record your crime before contacting the authorities
Tbh the dude said enterable not that you could go into every single room, so a huge skycrapper would count as enterable if you only went to the lobby and maybe a floor or two and nowhere else and it'll still kinda count if they want to justify it.
Or it maybe you can go in skyscraper take a lift and go to top I think it's probably this as almost every GTA game has this feature where you can go at top of every tallest building by walking to the markers

A cool way to revolutionize the character swapping is to be able to call Jason and it come up with the option to swap to Jason. So you can swap to him during a dynamic phone conversation
good to see and hear that game rankx intro along with a refreshing gta6 video.
Expect a lot more rain. Florida is pretty wet. It is basically a jungle. Plus there was a lot of rain in RDR2 too, and the previews of Leonida show a lot of water on the ground. It also rains sideways with heavy wind. It would be cool to see storms/wind/lightning and then 30 minutes later it's sunny without a cloud in the sky, but very muggy and you can see the steam rising all around you as it dries up in the heat. That's Florida.
Tbh I'm hoping weather plays a significant part in the world.. I really want this to be truly next gen
I hope there is less rain, fog, godrays, grainy volumetric atmosphere. The weather effects in RDR2 are horrible, hopefully GTA6 is nowhere close to that nonsense.
@@fg6971 What is blud on about
If they use the 48 minute per day model like gta v they coil make it really realistic and have it rain 2-3 minutes a day like normal Florida summers. Then have a few weeks where there’s actual hurricanes then a few weeks of nice sunny weather
The question is.
Will there be snow?
FALCON: GTAVI will have robberies as a major game play mechanic.
ME: You mean the same way heists were supposed to be a major mechanic in GTAV...and only ended up being 3 missions while all other additional DLC heists got canceled in favor of GTA Online? 😒😒😒
robberies are much easier to implement, like he said in the video, RDR2 did a pretty good job with it
@@lennaymaboyyy4848imagine if they cared about rdr 2 and had the robberies online, man rockstar could’ve made rdo so good!!
Heists are a major part of GTA V… half the game is either because of, or setting up another heist. And it all leads up to “the big one”.
Great video, as always. I like the GTA VI updates. Cheers.
Almost a whole generation (14 years) to wait for GTA 6 release 💀
11 years, 12 by the time it drops, but still😂
Mafia 3 is not a beloved game for most (it is for me (with mods to fix the graphics and some work around to boost the frame rate)) but when I played this year, I was surprised how many of the houses and buildings are open for you to enter... Was kinda shocking for me and helped so much for the world building and the atmosphere for me.
Mafia 3 was a sleeper hit for me. One of the few games I ever bought DLC for, and I bought all the expansions.
One of the few downsides though is that it does get rather repetitive.
What kept me going were the cool weapon unlocks. And I thought the weapons dealer van was a neat feature.
I still hold out hope for Mafia 4. But that sounds just as likely as the other sequel I want, Days Gone 2!
Too bad everything else besides that is garbage. A really boring game.
Literally just started replaying it, it’s slightly underrated
Right?? Days Gone was such a good zombie game, a massive disappointment the sequel was canceled.
@@thomasnielsen5580 Not with the community patch mod which gets rid of mandatory grinding. Mafia 3 with mods is an 8/10 game, not an excuse for what the original is though, I hated trying to replay it on ps4 around the time it launched but can do multiple playthroughs on pc
Interiors with AI says A LOT without saying anything. In all of GTA's history, they never had a sort of 'Radiant AI' like in elder scrolls. What these AI / Dynamic interiors could mean, is that they can move a chair around to different locations in the house. Like why would you enter someone's house and they have a different chair every time? That's not smart or immersive. But maybe the owner of the house was using the Chair to fix a lightbulb, or maybe they had a dinner party so all of the chairs are at the dinner table now. Or maybe they were working so they moved the Chair over to their desk. This is what I expect the GTA team is thinking, and I'm super excited.
For chairs!? Bruh!
Nice video! I learned a lot ❤
GTA VI would definitely awesome, but people should not expect too much or you'll get another cyberpunk.
Good morning everyone!
Good night here
Good evening
Good morning to you too good Sir or ma'am...or whatever. Hahahaha. Life used to be so simple.
Good afternoon here
oo It's almost 4:20
i hope the weapon management system is the same as red dead, where u can carry a limited set of weapons, like one long weapon and 3 or 2 pistols. It would add more to the immersion.
This, and limited ammo as well.
Yeah I'm definitely in favor of the "physicalized" inventory systems, where everything/almost everything you carry is actually visible on your character. The infinite "hammerspace" style is better for some types of games, but for anything that's attempting to be realistic and immersive, physicalized inventory goes a long way. Star Citizen is trying to take that idea to the extreme.
There was nothing more badass than having custom engraving on your rifle in a cutscene strapped to Arthur’s back.
Well it's gta so i doubt it
Fuck no, this is gta not rdr, it's not supposed to be realistic in terms of gameplay, it's supposed to be raw fun.
Time to buy a new ssd for gta 6
When he was talking about the character swapping it reminded me of army of two. I think sometimes we forget how well it worked in that game
Its crazy how that game fell off the radar for so many people until its brought up. That game, the OG one, did a lot of things right, I think. I remember in particular being impressed by the gun customization, something that wasn't common even for COD at the time iirc.
I agree. The loads outs for the missions were awesome. The missions in general were super fun
Falcon must be one of Varys' little birds, the Master of Whisperers, knowing things he shouldn't about GTA6.

I would do enteral big buildings as all apartments/hotel rooms could be the same or they have different tiers like “oh this room more expensive, is suite” and just have the same hallway but each time you change “levels the numbers and room generation could change”
Expectation for this release is so high, i bet it will disappoint everyone.
I don't like how most people are interpreting it as the perfect game that can never be topped already
The way you pronounce Lucia is crazy 🤣🤣🤣
Appreciate the info though ✊🏼
For real.....
It kinda pisses me off for some unknown reason
If all buildings can be enterable imagine being able to buy a condo anywhere
and imagine the rp scene with so many interiors
if they're really using randomly generated interiors, then for every building enterable it will probably be a bunch of loading screens; it'll likely be scrapped last minute
@@ScottThePiscesyeah I can’t see rockstar being ok with a ton of loading screens on free roam
@@ScottThePisces The game is only being released on new systems with impressively fast SSDs. Loading interiors WAS a speed bump last gen but is a non issue these days. If your games aren't on a hard drive, when's the last time a loading screen lasted longer than a couple seconds?
@@ejmakibelo3224 you rp idiots ruined GTA with the shitty GTA online, now the next game will have zero story and all multi-player bs in it.
If I were the legendary Sega and Shenmue creator Yu Suzuki? I would sue the shit out of Rockstar. They stole every idea from him in the first Shenmue. Now everyone thinks Rockstar created all these ideas. All of this was in the first Shenmue. Same as Steve Jobs stealing all of Jony Ive’s ideas as his own.
I have been living in MIami for 3 years and I feel like I got the game early xD the amount of times I have seen stuff happen that are straight up things you would see on a GTA lobby are uncountable. Massive crashes on traffic, people driving on sidewalks, Once I was coming back from church and a police chase made me go off the road hahah got a flat tire from that. Can't wait to do that stuff in game, MIami was a great pick for the game!
Imagine if Rockstar made their own Nemesis system for their NPC’s.
If only they could......
They can't. All these patents they're filing for GTA6 that screw over other games having the same feature was also filed for the nemesis system. These sorts of patents make the company that gets them more money, but makes things worse for customers and other game creators in the long term.
@@ibigfire That is right Monolith did Patent their Nemesis system. It does stink because imagine what other affluent and creative developers like Rockstar could do with that creation.

OK, just as a programmer, I have to tell you, what Hollywood calls 'AI', as in artificial CONSCIOUSNESS? Yeah, that's not AI in real life. In real life AI is basically just smart automation. Basically when you write a program that can adopt and change according to input, a learning code - THAT is AI.
So all of those things are in fact AI.
Skynet? Not so much.
He confused AI for AGI.
@@NavAK_86even AGI isn't artificial consciousness.
@@timhaldane7588 Sure it is. What else would you call it?
@@NavAK_86 Artificial General Intelligence. Nothing more or less than what it is. We don't even know how consciousness arises in the one place we are quite certain it exists - biology - but we at least know that intelligence is not a requirement for other things we associate with consciousness, like the ability to experience emotion. Intelligence and consciousness are entirely different qualities. There is zero rational justification for the belief that AI, no matter how "general" it is, is any more conscious than a calculator. (I'd argue there may be practical or ethical reasons to justify treating it as if consciousness is there, but the actual ontological claim is entirely unfounded.)
I hate how they call everything AI now. Autocorrect? AI. Bots? AI. Automatic light dimmers? AI.

My personal top 5 wish list
- a huge mall similar to dead rising 2 possibly smaller
- more mystical encounters like Bigfoot
- more destructible environments possibly events where mass destruction can be caused say a nuclear plant or gas pipeline or something along those lines
- no futuristic bollocks.
Have a seperate area maybe Area 51 for stuff like that
- add the ability to be a criminal, civilian, copper or corrupt copper
Mystical encounters like bumping into the Florida Man/woman tryna sell u something or when you walking randomly round have thr Florida man throw a snake or baby gator at u. That would be cool
@@SilentMovements305 that would be sick, and the ability to have cool pets would be awesome, but I think aliens should visit randomly, caves with hidden creatures should be dotted around, creatures like ghosts, wenidigos, zombies, vampires, aliens should be everywhere
@ElJay-JW999 yea that would be cool the developers should add that little piece on the western part of Florida that's where the caverns state park is located at and add those features you stated including the random appearances. Pet gators chickens raccoons etc would be cool to
love the cut to jake when falcon said “take it with a grain of salt” 😂
All GTA have had some sort of pigeon, spray paint.. something to find to complete the game, imagine having to look through the inside of all of the buildings as well as the huge map… would take forever
I would love if GTA 6 had a big shopping malls, with hustling bustling crowds shopping clothes, foods, items etc. With layers of floors.
Working Escalator, lifts and every shops entarable shoes shop, lingerie shops, clothes shops, toy shops, etc.
Sawgrass Aventura Westland Dadeland are inside malls that would be cool but also have outside malls like the shops at Midtown Brickell city Bayside marketplace Sunset Harbou. All those malls I mentioned have everything you said n more. Hopefully they incorporate those in the game to the "T"
Lots of kills
This game is going to break every record when it comes out
Shenmue 2 had almost every room in giant skyscrapers almost all enterable by using random generation technology way back in 2001. Granted it was pointless from a gameplay perspective but it vastly increased immersion. Part of what makes those games so magical.
I definitely think there would be a third suprise playable character that Rockstar may be trying to keep under wraps for now.
I would love to see someone like Niko making a return ..imagine a storyline halfway through in which he is hired to find and assassinate Lucia and Jason and instead he joins them ( for whatever storyline reason lol)
I love the slow and heavy protags
So jank then rip💀
even if every building or even most buildings can be entered or even 70% or 50% it will most likely not be the full insides but just parts of the insides of the buildings such as a hotel will most likely be the main floor maybe a few rooms and a floor or two, with the upper floors being mostly a hallway or two with a few rooms or maybe just one
Seeing Vic Vance again brings back memories, running those empires back in the day was fun.
I've seen tech demos of server meshing in action and it's actually pretty cool. Though what's seen in a tech demo and how it ends up in retail are two very different things.
big fan !! i follow you from 2 years ago dude !!!
I hope it caters a lot more to roleplaying like how FiveM Mod on PC is. Rather than just (CONSTANT) "stealing, robbing, killing, chaos." That's like 99% of games as is...
I love it when he says "take it with a grain of salt" and shows Jake and his very particular gesture while saying this same phrase.
Ai/machine learning could really be game changing for the studios. Especially trying to get as many enterable buildings as possible. It's exciting in that aspect
i think the potential for NPC's controlled by ai is what will be the real game changing moment. I know a few mods have done it and it seems incredible.... I can only imagine how wild it would be with an ai tool built just to be that particular NPC.
@jeffreybshuflin6795 yeah I feel the same. I feel like "ai" in gaming will really propel NPCs and procedural generation to an incredible height. Real conversations made up by an ai would make games infinitely playable almost as long as the gameplay is good
If it's done right and not just a cheap way to cut development corners. That's my only real concern. But this looks like Rockstar knows they have to knock everything out of the park
“Idk I’m a TH-cam bird” 😂
I like how every coding video sequence in videos are just a sendgrid mail server 😂
We have a long wait. Very interesting stuff. Hoping Rockstar doesn't go bonkers with playable characters. Two sounds like enough. Thanks.
I kinda want the system Watch_Dogs 2 to return. Where it's seamless multiplayer stitching built into the single player.
Where 2 people are playing single player, and then the game joins their worlds together automatically where out of no where another player enters your game/you enter there's where it's the same game, same world, same instance. No loading screens, no opt-in. They just exist, in your world, because your worlds were joined seamlessly. And because it's single player, they choose to ignore eachother.
It only adds one other player at a time and this happens very infrequently. So when you do "world bridge" with someone elses game instance, it's like an in-game event.
No thanks I don't want anyone in my game I want to play single player screw this multi-player bs
@@safiquazi2704 They load out if they stay out of frame/at a distance for too long, And there was a setting to disable the feature (which is different from an opt-in option as it WAS part of the experience). . . Needless to say, there were many safeguards in place for players with your general preference.

Artificial intelligence isn't literally supposed to be 'intelligent' (as in sentient) it's just supposed to be a computer that performs tasks like a human. Not to mention the large neural networks these AI's are built from. Machine learning is also literally artificial intelligence. OpenAI simping out of the way, Great video!
Intelligent doesn't mean sentient. AI is intelligent. As in the definition of intelligent.
@@TarfuLuke Exactly my point! Gameranx dude probably confused intelligence with sentience, which is where the confusion lies.

Per def of intelligence, just so we're on the same page, the ability to acquire and apply skills, is entirely lost on ChatGPT, Gaming NPCs, basically any "AI" tool that exists and ever will exist.
Maybe it's subjective, but if the intelligence we're talking about can't store information on its own, it's not intelligent.
It's like if I relied on external input or permission everytime I wanted to learn something new.
There no real "intelligence" to machine learning though. It's all just an algorithm. It can only learn in the way it's programmed to. That's not intelligent.
A little part of me died a little every time he mispronounced Lucia 😂😅
Good video!!!
As long as they don’t neglect the single player experience and base game comes with as many vehicles, weapons, realistic / fun physics, Easter eggs, dense map with interesting activities and side activities, abundance in wild life and customization as possible. GTA V showcased vehicles like the dodo plane in the first trailers that didn’t make the cut but did later as online dlc. Moving forward anything you collect online should be available in single player as well. (Final note: Please let us do flips again on the motorcycle like in GTA IV)
I wanna finish watching but i got school😔
😂😂😂😂 sucks to suck
Damn boi
Take yo ah to school
That’s when you take a “bathroom break “ 😂
Cannot freaking wait for this game 😻💯🔥
The fact that the colours look vibrant makes it much better
Game Updates with map extensions would be such a big pog
I don’t think Rockstar would ever be okay with multiple interiors looking identical. They are all about making the most realistic and believable open worlds, and multiple buildings that look exactly the same on the interior does not line up with that.
Not Rockstar the devs, that are now no longer there, people need to stop being idiots and realize it's not the company name it's the devs that were making the games once their gone the quality will never be the same again.
I hope that the biggest change is that there won't be any Crunch for Rockstar this time, imagine how hard that must be to work through awful conditions like that
It's already guaranteed that there wouldn't be crunch, if there had been, the game would have already come out 🤣
@@unyimusiccrunch doesn’t stop when a game gets delayed actually. You would think delaying a game and giving them more time would equate to devs having to work less but no.
Gameranx: "Maybe, I don't know, possibly, I don't know, could be, who knows, maybe, I don't know, who knows"
Me: "K thanks for the update"
If he says "lushia" 1 more time 😂
GTA 6 actually having 70% of buildings enterable would be a dumb idea. The only possible version of that would be like 100 rooms copied across the map which would get boring really quick, kind of like what the spider man game did but better. Just a poor idea.
Agreed. I’m not trying to continue to download shit when I’m playing the game.
Not quite.
Using Random Gen programs could work.
Similar to the planets in starfield, or treasure chests in ALMOST ANY RPG, only more compact.
The "rooms" would be empty. Upon being entered, the program randomly selects and places the decor. This means minor loading times, but those are present anyway.
This leads to nearly infinite combinations and layouts. It's basically procedurally generated.
Pretty sure that's what the rumor is implying.
@@matthewrowlett1564 and how did starfield turn out... everything would look the same. The 'AI' just isn't there yet to generate unique rooms/worlds with an identity the only option would be to spent a huge amount of time creating a massive fully explorable world and have the game be 700 gb. So I think it's a fun idea but impossible to realise.
@@user-rz9yg1lt9e Not all procedural generation is the same. Also, Starfield was trash for a lot of reasons.
@@user-rz9yg1lt9e Starfield is a broken mess. Procedural generation has been in games since the ps2 era, and USUALLY works.
I mean, there's an entire Genre built around it. Rogue-like games are 90% randomly generated.
This kind of random generation works well for interiors, just not so well for entire planets. Yes, this can lead to some Same-ness in places, but that's fine in these situations. There's only so many ways to arrange tables and chairs after all.
Scraping that barrel for content I see.
Whatever man, at least it’s not completely heresay and it’s backed by patent filings and already existing in game leaks. I guarantee some of this will be in the game with how much R* wants to push through this game.
lmao No1 troll
So true. Haven't recieved anything decent from this channel in a while.
Can't say I agree...I found it to be very informative with the patent details. Did you actually watch the video?
Lol… do you have any idea what it takes to upload content EVERY single day without a break for several years??
Of course not.. cause you’re just a fool
Imagine also being able to order your other character to do something like cover fire or stay low. I feel like that would be an awesome addition to mission replayability
To be fair, Falcon, the leaked footage of GTA VI from 2022 had several clips where they were playing as Jason, as well as the majority of them being Lucia, so I'm pretty sure that we will be able to play as both Jason and Lucia.
There's also the fact that Rockstar knows that a lot of their audience is a bit misogynistic and could not handle only being able to play as a woman, despite the fact that playing only as a man is common in many games. Especially in GTA of course.
E
Procedurally generated interiors could be pretty neat! It would be even cooler if the random interiors become fixed if you move something or do anything inside the space, so you could grab yourself a random apartment in the city somewhere to keep your stuff in and it would be the same, but its neighbor apartments would still randomly shuffle. Maybe too much though.
You should be able to have full blown conversations with the NPCs and make friends with them
Star Citizen doesn't have server meshing. It isn't implemented yet.
The replication layer (if the server crashes it puts you on a new server in the same place after a short pause) is in game and works (so if the server crashes it doesn't send you to the main menu), but server meshing isn't in until the 4.0 update, supposedly later this year.
Currently, Star Citizen servers cap at 100 players for the entire star system as one server, but with server meshing I think they intend on splitting it into a server per planetary system. So there will be at most 100 people at whichever planet (including its moons and space stations) you go.
Like the list, this could be major speculation, but I've heard that the cop ai will have the ability to remember you. Also, any crimes you commit may be recorded by the npcs and found on the social network for you to view later
I dig how you talk to the people
When the trailer dropped, I knew it would need a new PC to make sure I did not get a thinned down play through of less NPCs or visuals etc.. this just looks so good.
Hope it supports steering wheels without mods this time.
star citizen always catchin strays at gameranx lmao
3:00 Shenmue 2 did utilised a system like this back in 2001 to create enterable apartments in a fictionalised version of Kowloon
Falcon: Talks about RP in GTA online.
Me: Just finished watching OCRP videos.
Did you say robbing buildings? "Alright, i got it - _NINJA STYLE."_
I hope that damn traffic is not programmed to purposely drive in front of you every 3 blocks 😡!
I feel like these days Rockstar are of the few who can actually deliver what they promise.
