What was the public perception like when Justin returned to track and field after winning his legal battle? What was his reaction like as Usain Bolt took the 2008 Olympics by storm? - กีฬา
I was ambivalent about even opening this video because of my impression of Gatlin back in his early days where he struck me as being so cocky (but in truth, that could be said of all American sprinters of that era). My view of him was even worse when he got banned. However, I believe in the power of redemption and backed off to just being neutral on his return. In the end, I saw a humbled man really grinding to revive his career in a sport he really loves. After watching this video, props for the honest insight behind the effort and you have my outmost respect sir. Cheers!!!
You should definitely watch the video with his Parents..I mean it's 1 to watch...I just watched it before this video
🔥✊🏾I Very Much APPRECIATE n Respect Y😉ur Comment!!!…👊🏾💯
I love this sport but it’s a shame that it doesn’t have as much publicity, you are literally the greatest American sprinter of all time. And this has 2,000 views.
Track and Field is massively popular but comes in waves.
You better believe he is known
It is a shame
Couldn’t agree more
Justlin, i would like to sincerely apologize to you for judging you wrongfully back then. You a such a rare gem and I'm happy for your journey. You seem so sweet amd genuine. Thanks for showing us that side of you. 🇯🇲❤️
Justin is my favorite because he didn’t give up, he did what he was Blessed to do and showed everyone he deserved to be an Olympian 🎉🎉🎉⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
DAMN!!!!! Patton broke his collar bone in that fall. As a Jamaican i knew you were coming back with that dog in you Gat. much respect.
Watching this is so exciting for me, don’t know how I’m just seeing this now!
2012 watching Justin comeback, and how he navigated the rounds was poetry in motion. 2014&15 watching him dominate made me so happy. I always liked his story and how he came back. I’m no longer an athlete but tried to use the principles moving forward
Funny enough now, I’m 26, and life has been whopping my ass, taking so many L’s, since 18. I was beginning to feel like I’m 8 years behind and served a ban too (metaphorically for years lost).
Then I remembered , some men reach success in their earlier 30s like usain & retire, or start building an family and you have others like j gatlin, Kim collins that make that impact in their late 30s to early 40s regardless of career path.
Even though I feel behind, I feel it can still make it financially by 40 and look at a family then, and gatlin is a muse for that
Thanks for how detailed this was. It was very inspiring

Can’t believe you skipped Gatlin beating Powell 9.88 vs 9.89 in Doha 2012. That was the big comeback race.

Gatlin no doubt great competitor. Just like his energy before race
21:06 fear of damage to Achilles due to blisters, what did i miss 😮
Gatlin had a whole NFL stunt during the 4 year lay off
40 repeat 100s with 10 second recovery 😂😂😂😂😂
Hello love our platform but as a video editor I can’t help but interject let you know that these interviews/videos would be a lot more captivating, informative, and immersive if you have the race playing while Justin is talking.
Otherwise fantastic stuff!
2008 Summer Olympics
🔥🔥🔥
Gatlin was disliked in Jamaica back in the day. I remember. They use to call him drugs boy
J HAS AND WILL ALWAYS BE THE G.O.A.T..THE UPS RHE DOWNS THE HIHGS THE LOWS...ALL MEN STUMBLE AND EHAT MAKES HIM SO AMAZING...IS THAT HE NEVER QUITS! # KINGJ 👌🏾👊🏾👑💪🏾
No reason to hate, they all are on the juice and that is OK. The problem is the child like general NPC-public.
Errol Spence could learn from Justin in how he handled his coach once he started getting paid again. Errol decided not to pay his Derrick James what he owed him after he received his biggest payday.
Get some.
