    Wow!! Justin Justin Justin, the media really did you dirty. They really made us dislike you for their own agenda. I’ve been tuned in to this podcast for the past 3 months and I’m like damn, Justin is my guy! Keep giving us your authentic self brother, because we (I) love it.

      They "did a number on him." They made him out to be "Captain Evil, " and (as a Jamaican) I bought into it.They literally dehumanized him. After viewing this "conversation" and watching - "Ready, Set, Go." I have newfound respect and nuff love for Justin.

    Hi Justin I am a Jamaican and have always been a huge fan of you except when you were competing against a Jamaican😊. You are such a gentleman and I am happy that I never judge you based on what the media said. You are a wonderful human being, selfless and kind. Your parents are lovely. 🥰

    I am a Jamaican and though I love Bolt, Justin has always been one of my favorite athletes. He brought great competition to the spots and his demeanor was always that of a gentleman. Forget the BS that he cheated. He that is without sin cast the first stone. Justin for me will always be one of the all time greats. Great guy. Will subscribe to this channel

    I identify more with Gatlin than any other sprinter in his time. This is because after all that he has been through he still managed to come back and beat Bolt in his last race during the London Championships. Likewise, life comes with its own challenges but we need to keep coming back. We love you our hero.

    Wonderful interview. The insight is incredible and this was a very well managed conversation.
    Watch London 2012 100 finals when they announce Gatlin, the crowd cheers, just after his return. In 2017, the crowd boos after the disgusting British media circus around Gatlin. Track is a brutal sport!

    1:24:14... That was the most beautiful quote. It made me cry. You definitely climbed Mount Everest twice. And one other comment, I have only heard people speak of the two bans, but why doesn't anyone mention your 'not guilty' verdict? You have been so adamant through all of the videos I have uncovered of you about your innocence that I believed you without even being privy of that knowledge. But now I am 100% sold. What an amazing story. And I know you probably wonder what your career would have been like without the ban, but as your mother said, what's meant for you is yours. You were the perfect person to sprint that mountainous journey. Forever revered. ❤

    Sorry Gatlin but 9.77 wouldn't have won the Olympics before 2015, the 2012 Olympic time was 9.63(where Bolt lowered his Olympic Record) . Also 9.77 would have equaled the 2013 WC time. Not beat it.

  • @nattyswede
    @nattyswede 25 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Interesting to hear the family´s perspective on that second ban. The conversation is a bit incoherent... You don´t dope for one meet (Mom is referring to the meet in Kansas) - that´s not how it works. Politics in sport? It could very well be the case that "someone" was out to get Justin, but a solid case for that was not presented in this episode.
    Water under the bridge now, though I can understand if Justin feels hard done by if he is indeed innocent. The procedure and legal structure around testing does not allow independent labs to re-test doping samples. That is what you sign up for when you get in the game.
    All that being said - Justin´s comeback came good with the 2017 win at the world championships in London. It must have been such a release to finally beat Bolt. Like a monkey off his back...
    I´m happy for Justin that he has his podcast and can tell his story from his perspective.
