      The F Sport models have sportier treatments added to the interior and exterior, such as metals on the dash instead of wood, different wheels, and blacked out features like the grille on the car in this video. Hope this helps.

  • @ryannrjohnson

    The only thing I have an issue with is that the F Sport sounds just like my LS460 when I start it. The 19 inch rims vs. 18 are nice, the upgraded Brembo Braking package is nice, but when I hear F Sport, I'm looking for a boost of 40 horsepower at the least and a beefier exhaust sound (that's not artificially pumped through my stereo system). Maybe if Lexus takes the F off and just calls it the sport edition I probably wouldn't be so irritated at the name. Not that anyone cares 😂 but I think it has to be at least one person on the planet that agrees with me on this.

    • @AutoAcademics
      @AutoAcademics  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We hear ya, ryannrjohnson. The F Sport package is primarily aesthetic, with the exception of a few minor changes. In all fairness, Lexus' performance lineup is just call "F" as in the RC-F. Thanks for sharing and for watching!

    Nice ass Lexus but almost $90,000 sheesh. You get what u pay for though and its pretty fast for a bigass car but I doubt the top speed is only 130 for a top of the line luxury sports model

      This car is not about high end top speed it is about quality and too many manufactures seem to have forgotten that. 99.99% of people who buy these cars are after quality and comfort with good power not super power.

    • @jacksonj8708

      JasN MoNey bro any new car since 06 has a governor on it the previous gen ls had the governor at 140 my 97 ls had no governor on it it will go 160 mph flat...the new the car like this ls will have governors to limit the top speed so your thought about hondas g35 and acura is right if they are older models but if they are newer models in the same year as this ls they all have governors a new civic will not pass 120 mph you will have to remove the governor from these new car if you want them to go top speed or just go buy a lexus rcf, isf, a m3, m4 or one of those amg which have less restriction on the top end

    • @AutoAcademics
      @AutoAcademics  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      jackson j And just to piggy-back on your comments, jackson j, even many European vehicles have governors (electronic limiters) that limit them to top speeds of 155 mph, unless they are special models (ie- M-B Black Series, etc.) or unless you pay extra for "optional" performance packages. Thanks for sharing and even more for watching!

    • @crxracer805
      @crxracer805 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      JasN MoNey This car is about luxury and comfort, not how fast it can go. Why would you wanna go 130 mph anyway? Not only will you get arrested for reckless driving if you get caught, you put your life at risk and your passengers.

      @AutoAcademics  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sealblaighter Steven We're sorry to break it to you, Sealblaighter Steven, but the speedometers in many cars show numbers unrepresentative of the cars' capabilities. A 2015 Toyota Corolla has a speedometer that shows 140 mph or more. And before someone asks, no that car will not go that fast. The numeral fallacies continue in the opposite direction, as well. Chris (our presenter) had an '88 Mustang GT 5.0 whose speedometer only went up to 85 mph. Needless to say, he buried it regularly in third gear. Hope this clears things up for you. Thanks for watching!

      This car is not about pure power it is about pure luxury with an acceptable level of power. 380 horse power in a Lexus is like 400 to 500 else where.
      People do not buy these types of cars for all out power. I have mine as a family car and I can tell you it is best family car I have every purchased. Not one issue did I ever have and it drives like the day I bought it.
      If you want all out power then a dedicated sports car like a Porsche can be had for about 90K. Those other manufacturers producing those overly powerful cars are compromising on quality.
      A Mercede s65 for example costs twice this to get that level of quality.

      Imagine seeing a lineage of sexy ladies in one particular family line. We can see the Crown,would be the great grandmother,the Mark II,grandmother,LS460would be the MILF,and the LS500 is her hot ass daughter. Through time you can see the how they all come from the same line by looking at their faces,how their bodies adapted relative to times and diets changing. You can see their hair being similar but styled accordingly to their era. Now you read their bios. You find out they were very dependable. Studied hard, always worked hard and excelled,sometimes being the best in their field no matter the job( banker,nurse,,attorney escort). Despite sometimes being the best,they never demanded preposterous wages,and would still go years without calling in sick. And now,the youngest just graduated from a prestigious college while stripping/escorting and ready to combine her book smart,with the street smart she learned from meeting many rich clients on how the game really,works,how to get yours,and show the world that the females in this family are some baaaaaaaaad bitches..
      That's why you think of corolla when you see a Lexus. It's what I see.

      NebPWN It has 386 hp, and there is the LS600h, which has 438 hp. If even this si not enough, wait till next year, when the new LS comes. It is going to blow your mind kid!

    Omg ... So boring ... Driving around a duck pond with a manky looking baby seat in the back is not a road test !

      LOL We appreciate your candor, donkey, and are pleased that you noticed our video shoot location. It can be challenging to find picturesque spots in public locations. However, one thing that you failed to realize is that we put almost 500 miles on our test vehicle so that we could share the ins and outs of the Lexus LS 460 F SPORT with attentive viewers like yourself. We admit, we would have been pretty bored, too, driving laps around that duck pond to equal the distance that we actually drove. And with regards to the baby seat, the tremendous rear legroom of the LS makes it a fantastic car for those consumers with young children. Possibly one day you will come to appreciate that feature in automobiles, too. Thanks for watching!

      And whats is are audi, porsche,lambo, bentley... Expensive VW beetle?, man levels are levels bro they are all made by the same company but for different class with higher standard, samething goes for the lexus, toyota owns the brand but its a higher class and has a higher standard which infact make it nothing near a camry, a bentley or audi is nothing near a vw beetle or a rabbit

      Ugly??? You have some funky taste then. This Lexus is stunning. It looks like it's traveling at warp speed. And fuck the Mercedes. Their build quality and durability are abysmal, and customer service sucks.

      Ferrari isn't even close to Corvette. One is made by Bob n' Butch using a hammer. The other is hand crafted with perfection and the nicest tools.
