Rear Main Seal replacement in 1968 Dodge Superbee

Today isn't Termite - but we did replace the rear main in termite a few years back. The process is very similar in a #Wagoneer as it is our 1968 Superbee. Hopefully this'll help if you have to do this job too! #jeepwagoneer

Love the super Bee , bought a 69 Coronet R/T back in 91 ,didn't run got divorced in 93 but had to sell the car in 96 new bride hence new address and the car could not join me . such is life . Later Bob

I'm sure glad it worked out for you but just to let you know anaerobic sealers are for the caps. It's designed for metal to metal sealing ie. flanges. The RTV would be put on the ends of the seals. I just did mine, watch it leak....:/

Just realized I called your Superbee a Charger 500 in the last video. Better than saying Ford Torino.... Worst rear main one has to be the AMC Eagle I just wrapped up a few weeks ago. So much stuff to get out of the way before you even remove the oil pan. The easiest is the 78 Chevy 1/2 ton with the 250 I6. Done in about 3 hours laughing with friends the whole time. Most technical goes to the LS engine requiring careful alignment of the rear cover and oil pan. Gotta get a lift in my shop. Murphy's law states it'll probably come AFTER all my big projects are finished. BTW, love the stickers! One is on Radio Flyer. The other is on the shop wall.
