Does anyone else find the whole ‘glorification of avengers’, like comic-con meets real people thing to be super narcissistic and creepy? Or fan fiction girl quoting the supers to be like some kind of ‘player insert fan girl’ character? I wonder why it’s less-creepy when it’s about characters vs ‘real people’. I don’t know, it just genuinely makes my skin crawl.
Well that is true but you gotta look at this from another perspective: how many versions of Captain America are there? Answer: 3. We also have 3 Spider-Men, 3 sets of Fantastic Four, 3 Hulks, 2 Doctors Strange, 2 Thor, 5 Supermen, 5 Batmen, 3 Wonder Women, 3 Flashes, 2 Supergirls, 3 Jokers, 3 sets of X-men and between X-men and Avengers we have 2 sets of Wanda and Pietro and so it goes on and on. And all of that? That's just the American live adaptations (series and movies) not even counting old/young/legacy/alternate universe versions who are part the same series and I'm not even sure I'm counting all of them so when you add comics, games, foreign and animated adaptations in and outside of continuity... it gets to be overwhelming.

That said, it is a peculiarity born out of the nature of these stories -- it's honestly kinda sad but there was an interview where this was addressed by one of the actors where he referenced how superhero movies are the only ones where fame affects the character more than it does the actor. The game doesn't differ to any of the games in it's genre anyways plus micro-transactions. I'd probably recommend you to just buy GTA 5 and install Some mods into it, a much better experience than this.

I tried this game at gamescom 2019 and this is the first time seeing what it became. The Demo didn't had this girl in it , BUT after we tested the game we got this neck strap key holder tingys the girl was wearing at the beginning. I did not expect that tbh. I thought we just got them as a goody cause there are avengers on it, but that they actually made it into the game. Nice!
I had heard this game got pretty repetitive or just wasn't very good but I wasn't really sure. And I just want to say I think it's a testament to your comedic ability that the gameplay didn't even start till halfway through the video and even then you got great content out of just the tutorial and intro. Love you man keep up the good work!

Yes, it's a GAAS (game as a service) multiplayer online game. Every GAAS have microtransactions like time-savers. But in this game, microtransactions are just there to provide cosmetics, and still, you can earn these cosmetics just by playing the game and earning in-game currency. The Battle Passes of all base heroes are free and have no time limit. All post-launch content will be free, like characters, missions and DLC. The Battle Passss also reward you with in-game currency to buy the same skins people bought with real money.
The "premium" battle passes of the upcoming DLC characters will be purchaseable with real money, or you can just earn in-game currency playing the game and doing the challenges and you can buy them without spending a penny. And still, these battle passes, if completed, give you in-game currency back. And again, there's no time limit, so you don't need to worry about time. Probably this is the most fair GAAS game I've ever seen, and people are still bashing it. It's a shame.

Game looks pretty slick, the opening was a pretty good way of showing off the characters and seeing it through the eyes of a kid living her dream. I'll never play it, but looks neat.
