i remember reading that due to the lack of trash bins in Japan, everyone is accustomed to holding onto their trash and throwing it away when they get home. meanwhile here in the states, if theres no trash bin, people will just litter. its fascinating to see how different cultures can be around the world

people still litter in japan especially in tokyo and most cleaning staff get rid it of it by the day (obvious places) but u can find some trash shoved in signs holes and gaps

Only in certain parts I can see it. Like small towns. I saw a red box dvd rental got broke into. I was furious. We can never have nice things in big cities because of thugs.

Man y'all are lucky actually. Here in Canada the lease on a small location can be like 30k a month or more. Nothing can survive. Even the foodbank couldn't afford its rent and had to shut down

This shop is right at the Mansei bridge just south of the Akihabara Electric Town and outside the Maach Ecute shopping mall (the old JR Manseibashi station). Good for a quick snack if you don't want to find a restaurant after exploring Akihabara.

All of that looked so good. Especially the pork cutlet sandwich and the ramune ice cream.
The quality of the food looks amazing, and I like they don't skimp on the portions.
If you ever visit the Netherlands you must review the food from FEBO, the vending machine food place. They do warm croquettes and burgers etc. Highly recommended (although probably not as good as the Japanese equivalent tbf)

The food, the sounds effects, and the way everthing looked in a first person video reminded me of bioshock. The train in the background really did it.

1) Right cookie on the upper right sheet has a bite out of it on the right picture. 2) Batter in the bowl is chocolate in one picture and vanilla in the other. 3) There is a pig cookie in the middle pile just above the cow bag in the right picture. 4) There is an extra vanilla cookie in the middle pile next to the whisk in the right picture. 5) The bottom cookie sandwich on the right picture is double stuffed. 6) The calf has more ice cream in the right picture.
That's all I got so far. I'm sure there's more but I'm not seeing them.
7) the top of the bag on the bottom right is different.
8) the rolled out cookie dough has a speck on the picture on the right
9) one of the cookie in the bag has it's eyes upside down
10) one of the handles of the rolling pin is slightly different shape.

The cookie cutter in the leftmost cow’s hand has longer horns in the right photo.
The rightmost oven mitt has a slightly different stripe pattern on both images.
It says 10 differences, and with that we have ten.

Used to work at IBM Southbury in Connecticut some years ago and they had a few vending machines on-site that were stocked by a local deli. They'd come and restock every day as the items were all freshly cooked and prepared. They'd usually come in twice a day to ensure that the meals were rotated properly and to have enough on-hand for us IT people working late at night when most places were closed. Really wish there were more vending machines like this - especially like those found in Japan. It's more than just a novelty - for some with limited time, it's an option to eat good meals when you don't have the luxury of time and location.

If there are no trash receptacles out on the street in Japan, do you merely carry the trash around until you get home, and then dispose of the trash there?
Its so nice. Not one time did you hear people just chattering away and being loud. Not one time did you hear a car honk. Here in the US its just people making constant noise. Chattering with absolutely no end and honking their heads off in the cars. This seemed like a busy part of town but no nonsense.

Dorayaki is one of my favorite Japanese sacks!! along with AJ curry chips, and the Umaibo Corn Puffed Snack Teriyaki Burger Flavor i buy them almost all the time they take a month or two to get to my state because it's coming directly from Japan but it's soooo worth the wait 😁
