Great job lads! I do agree about Robert Plant. I saw him in June with Alison Krauss. Both are fantastic and Robert’s voice just seems to get better and better over time. Great list. I would add Steve Walsh from Kansas and Streets.
Rod Stewart, Paul Rodgers, Joe cocker, Greg Allman, Mike Harrison, Ian gillan, David Clayton Thomas, Steve winwood, Stephen stills , John Fogerty and manu others.
Another great video. A few of my choices in there, and some that I wouldn't have considered to be honest. But that's the marvellous thing about music, particularly Rock music. So many great singers with their own unique qualities. I'm going to mention your channel to some friends and see if I can help get you to 1000 subs. Looking forward to the next one.
Good episode. There can be any number of singers in my top 10 on any given day depending on my mood, but my top 5 will never change, even though the order might. So in no particular order: - Jon Anderson - the voice of prog in the 70s and its incredible to think he's still doing it at 80 years old with no real loss of quality - John Wetton - one of my absolute musical heroes and a wonderful man as well. Consistent singer with a wonderful vocal quality. - Steve Perry - the voice of US AOR. Tremendous expression and nuance - David Coverdale - bluesy and moody. An absolute rock god - Glenn Hughes - glad to hear his name come up in your list. Glenn is hands down the best rock singer I have ever heard live in my life. Versatile and technically brilliant. Just outside that 5 would feature: Robert Plant, Tori Amos, Brad Delp, Phil Collins, Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush, Geddy Lee, Dio, Bowie and many others.
Thanks, Stuart. That's an Excellent, detailed comment. I agree that it all depends on our mood at the time, and as Paul and I said, our list can change. Again thanks so much for watching.
