makes me proud to having worked in the food and nutrition industry for 38 years before I retired from the Navy which offered a challenging and fun work environment working in the galleys and mess of aircraft carriers

I use to Virgin Atlantic 1st Class Washington DC to London all the time and it was absolutely 💯 fabulous. However my best ever experience was flying Concord ; truly a once in a lifetime experience ( the flight, the service, the food & drinks)

I've worked in Flight Kitchen in Middle East, it's a tedious, hard, fast paced, meeting deadline job

Missing a very important step in between preparing food and load it is cooling process. Food can't be loaded if it is not in proper temperature. Logs are maintained for the week as well. Food safety is more important than anything else.

That fancy food for rich people. When I fly, get peanuts and a pop.

In this video he talks about the biggest kitchens, but he actually is talking about IN FLIGHT KITCHENS, which means food for the Airlines, and recently I have seen ad's on the internet for people to work either at Laugardia in QUEENS and JFK,also in QUEENS, the difference is that LAUGARDIA is for domestic flights and JFK,are International flights, like NEWARK,in Jersey, which is a International hub,and I have traveled many times, and it's set-up like,1st class, Business class, downward, but it's all mass production off a assembly line, and of course light snacks in between, but it depends on how long is the flight and if there is a stop over or overseas flight and me living in NYC, going to Hawaii, is a very long flight, and the layover is usually in ALASKA, SAN FRANCISCO, LAX,OR SAN DIEGO, then on to HNL. And I remember years ago when I was going to Morocco via Air France, or Lufthansa, we stopped by France to refuel,to Casablanca, but from JFK,it wasn't to bad,but usually I get bored, and walk the asile, because I can't stand sitting so long, and it's hard to go to sleep so I just read something, like a newspaper or a magazine, but in general the food is OK, nothing to write home about and on long flights I request a layover and walk the terminal or have a beer,or two, then reboard, for the 2nd half of the trip, and usually I will talk to someone next to me, but in general I know what to expect.

I don't get the coming to taste test the fish and barley dish with it already cooking and being plated. What if it had been a fail? Would it get trashed? And besides didn't it get approval before it was put on the menu? Seems silly!

I lived and worked in the Middle East a while and the Lebanese were great businessmen and good people. Hell, I would love to visit their country, but obviously, there are issues. I feel so sorry for such a talented group of people for their situation with "Palentinian" animals and the Mullahs beyitchez infesing a great country

Wait, wait, wait, …. So if the fish dish didn’t pass the taste and quality test, would they have pulled the fish dishes already prepared for its respective flights?
