Fantastic video, my friend! I love that Nietzsche quote; you are what you focus your attention on. Everything you said resonated with me. I spent my entire life in my head from childhood till two seconds ago. And I love Cormac McCarthy! His border trilogy is one of my favorite pieces of literature. Thank you for sharing!

@TheAlcoholicPersonality-zx4cu yeah man. Thanks for watching! I've gotten really into Nietzsche lately. He just makes sense to me and his views on a lotnofnthings aligns with mine. 150 or however many years later lol.
      Cormac McCarthy is brilliant.
Freeing myself from my own mind has been the single greatest gift sobriety has given me. I feel I'm free to accomplish whatever I want now. Thanks again for watching and for your kind words. It means the world to me. But for the grace of god...

Hah. A tropical storm is coming in, so I got a snow day off from work. What's up Ron, how's life and sobriety going? I understand the head thing. Mine is a bad neighborhood, as you probably have heard before. Music, reading, and writing are a big part of my life, but things are changing. I am actually becoming disillusioned with TH-cam and making videos. The future is kind of uncertain. I most likely will cut down on TH-cam and focus more on life and securing a decent career. My roommate in detox gave me Adams' book "The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul." Adams is good, but I like absurdist fiction in small amounts.

@ShadesOClarity I've been great man. Just trying to keep it in the day. A bad neighborhood is angoid way to describe my brain too lol. Why disillusioned? For me it's still a good outlet. Even if nobody watched a single video, I still feel it's a good way to get what's in my head out of it. Damn the torpedoes so to speak. You gotta do you though and what's best to keep you sobah! I generally don't like humorous fiction myself but Douglas Adams clicks with me. Also, I love British humor so there's that. I'm definitely more into darker fiction and books that don't have a happy ending. I.e. Cormac McCarthy.

@@Disappointingyourdemons I don't know what it is. I guess I am burned out. Maybe the feeling will pass.

@ShadesOClarity I can say that making most of these videos takes a lot out of me mentally and emotionally. Even some of the funnier ones because it's heavy material and it's all real stuff from my life. I get it man.

@@Disappointingyourdemons I know you have been through a lot more than I have, so I get it. It takes nothing out of me to do these videos. The only people affected by my problem were me and my parents. There is nobody else. My attitude towards TH-cam changes daily. I might wake up tomorrow with a great idea. I know I'll never be MrBestiality, and that's fine. I do it to help others and myself.
