Can you help us with ours, we can't get it to turn on or stay on once it is on. The guy came out today and tried to show us but as soon as I turned it off ((it was getting too hot)) it's no longer turning on again and he swears there's nothing wrong with it....... I'm at my wits end with it

Have to say as 'npowleynpowley' said, I can't see what this has achieved. you've basically spent 5.22 minutes telling us how to set the temperature and breaking one part to bits. Would have been much better to show how to wire it up and sync' the two.

Unit was faulty .wiring is generic for a wireless unit .

Not sure what you were trying to achieve with this video? The thermostat was probably working fine and the SCR probably needed a new 0.68uF Capacitor fitting as these often fail. Simple £5 or less fix but you've butchered the thermostat so probably a waste of time trying to fix the SCR Rx unit now? Why you thought you'd be able to see a fault with the Thermostat is beyond me as it appeared to be working fine before you took it apart!

time in the uk you said it won't stay latched on that's because the Rx is faulty not the Tx. Look up replacing the capacitor in the Scr unit and you'll see this is a normal fault and easily fixed.
