I feel Pink diamonds need to escape the consequences of her actions plus the desire to learn how to love is why she even had Steven in the first place

The Answer to all of this:
Steven’s gem half was indeed hit my the rejuvenator
It forgot all of its powers
Steven can remember how to summon his weapons using his organic brain
The problem is that Steven’s gem half doesent know how to summon his powers, so the powers that Steven functions are glitched out
So basically Steven knows (remembers) how to function his powers but his gem half doesent know how, so uhh

The rejuvenator sets the Gem back to how it started. The gem in this case being Steven, who counts as a different entity entirely. So I think instead of something that looks like Pink Diamond, wed just see pink baby Steven.

Tbh I always thought rose placed herself into the tower as Steven's room and lied to him about becoming half of her.
I think she created another diamond gem and implanted memories of herself into it, essentially creating a clone and letting the clone go through the process of creating steven.
Meanwhile Rose is actually a room now and spends time with whoever goes in there(that's why I think that rose copy in the room seemed so real.

Hey anyone else remember when Garnet said Steven was a fusion? S H E W A S K I N D A R I G H T
I think if Steven's gem were removed and hit with a rejuvenator, it would bring Pink Diamond back, briefly, but with Pearl there I imagine she would return to being Rose Quartz pretty quickly- then meeting Greg and really understanding what it was that made her give up her physical form would have her return to being Pink Steven. I say this also because I really want Steven to actually meet his mom, even if it is just for a little bit while he's weak, delirious and possibly dying, and she gives up her physical form again to save him.
I'd want it to be a moment that really clarifies how she's changed from being a selfish and indulgent brat to a loving mother who gives up literally everything for her child.
People seem to have forgotten that while her actions have had a lot of consequences that she clearly did not think through, there are also things that simply were beyond her control. The Pink Diamond that White and the others miss and the Rose Quartz who gave up her physical form for her son are two very different characters- not because she simply decided to hide her former identity in a new shell, but because she as a person, CHANGED, much like Steven has throughout the series.
It would be interesting if, in her brief span, Pink/Rose got to reconcile with the people she's hurt as well, especially since so many of them were more collateral damage than directly stepped on to get her way. It would be really touching in particular if she got a scene with Jasper to tell her she doesn't have to fight anymore, or a moment with Spinel to express regret at leaving her behind.
Rose said it herself that it was a good thing that Greg barely knew her, all but admitting that there's things that she regrets and isn't proud of because she had grown as a person by that point and with so much of the show revolving around change, it would be nice closure on Pink/Rose/Steven to remember that everything that transpired- good and bad- happened because of how she has changed.

Based on how you phrased this I dont know of this is just what you'd like to see, which is arguably dope as hell, or if this is what you think would happen, but it seems more likely that we wouldn't get anything from a rejuvenated pink steven. Firstly it doesnt seem possible to harm pink steven, since he is just pure power, to the point he blocked LIGHT with a shield. But ignoring that, I dont think pink diamond is actually still in the gem. It's kinda like when you start a new game+ on a save file. You erase the character you had, and start from scratch with something new and different. So erasing the new game+ wouldn't give you back your previous character. When Steven’s gem got hit it went back to Steven’s original power capability , not the abilities of an all powerful pink diamond
When Steven got hit with the destabilizer it didn't poof his gem inside of him. When he got hit with the rejuvinator, it wouldn't be able to fully rejuvinate him either because he was still mentally connected to it. It only reset that mental connection to his gem, and not his gem itself, because he still had his full powers, only struggled to control them. It was more like his two halves falling out of sync, than one half being wiped. If it had been his gem form alone, the rejuvinator would have fully reset him, but if the crewniverse did that it would undoubtedly ruin the message of the show.

I think I have a possible explanation for why Pink Steven is a blank slate without his human half: the Gems are programmed with specific tasks and duties. They can learn to have a personality and move beyond their purpose, but that still is the core of their being. This is why Garnet had, for awhile, relied on Sapphire's future vision for some time and Ruby's brute strength. But as humans, we do not have a set function. We are born with a moldable personality, to the point where how we are treated at birth could affect our personality down the line. As such, Pink Steven has no emotions of his own. He has no set purpose except to keep Steven alive, and there is no personality that could be assigned to a gem that has the personality taken by the human half.
So what would happen if Pink Steven got struck with a Rejuvenator? Personally, I think Pink Diamond WOULD come back to how she once was. I see poofing as an update to a mobile game: fixes bugs, adds a few new things, but the core of the game is all still there. Pink Steven is an update to TH-cam or Facebook. It changes the entire landscape. The Rejuvenator, in my eyes, performs a deletion of updates. The entire thing is set back to how it was first ever produced, but still useable in that setting. Regaining memories is like updating TH-cam again, putting right back to where you had it.
I'm actually theorizing we'll see Pink in the Epilogue, and this theory makes good sense.

"Steven has always been Steven" meaning every choices Steven made was all base on steven's feelings and thoughts. How he react, symphatize, and see the best in everything is part of his personality. It might have resembles rose's personality as other gems pointed out but it was purely part of steven's personality
The only reason why pink steven said "she's gone" to white diamond is because Pink was no longer the one in control of the gem. The one who was in control was steven. The form that the gem accepted was the form of steven, That why when White diamond pulled out Steven's gem it form as Steven not as Pink Diamond or Rose Quartz
Pink existance was nothing but a memory of its past. But it doesn't mean it never existed after Pink lost her PHYSICAL FORM. It shown that Steven was able to dream Pink's memories and suffering as he kept stumbling to places where his mother was once.
if pink was entirely gone, Steven wouldn't be able to dream Pink's life as a diamond because those places were never part of Steven's life so there's no way that Steven should dream about those places at all, as if those was HIS own memories
Thinking that Pink is still alive doesn't ruined the purpose of the show because she still exist through the existance of her gem. That is where the whole plot of Steven Universe revolve is because of her gem's existance
The purpose of the rejuvenator is to RESET a GEM to its original form. You can't hide the fact that steven's gem original form was Pink Diamond so it was meant to reform back as Pink Diamond
That is why they ended up creating this kind of THEORY after the rejuvenator accident. Because Steven and Pink are 2 different people that share the same gem. Steven didn't turn back because he's half human and was able to keep his memory but what really happened to his gem half where he can only explain "it feels as if I was back when I was a kid again" also gems are immortal só they can't die unless shattered but the diamonds can fix this

This might not be a fan favorite theory but, i have a idea how steven and pink diamond can exist at the same time!, I see this happening someone removes steven's gem then uses the rejuvenator but a different version where it resets your form back to the way it was but you retain all your memories!, as steven is on the verg of death you have pink diamond heal steven turning him pink and giving him a form of immortality he will also have the same powers as lion! this would be a good way to retire steven's character and bring back pink diamond and wrap everything into a neat beautiful bow. also as a final episode ever it would be heart touching and intense! and yes there would be a lot of tears.

Hitori I if that was an ending you would have to consider that Steven NEEDS his gem to live it's like a crucial organ. She can't make a gem as far as we know she can only make gem shards. Not to mention she got rejuvenated which means she would only remember everything that happened to her before she "birthed" Steven. She probably would not remember him. Perhaps her true form is the wormy boi and she took control of white diamond (would explain why she's pink, or she just went flustered again and was about to poof which is why she's clearly in distress)to take revenge against her because she thinks white is the causer evil/ the villain of everything. I feel as though that would be a good ending, rose as the final villain. Helping Steven and the gems get over their problems and grief concerning her. A true happy ending! (Sorta sad but welp)
It's a nice thought, but that would mean the entire point of the series would be forfeit... which is learning to accept Pink is gone and the Diamonds moving on, etc.

I know this never gets addressed in canon, but here's my two cents: The rejuvenator set Steven's gem back to *Steven's* factory settings, not Pink's. Pink Steven was really clear in Change Your Mind: Pink Diamond is not lurking in her gem in any recoverable way. There might be some data leftover from her in the form of memories and powers, but Pink Diamond the person is gone. I feel like it would be betraying the themes of the series to walk that back.
Pink's form is still in there. As demonstrated by the reformations prior to Pink Steven. I believe the factory default of the Pink Diamond gem never left and was reset with the rejuvenator. That being said. It'd be impossible to regain this default form without sacrificing emotion. My theory is, somehow Rose erased the emotions in her own gem and used the biological Steven to fill in the gaps. So a rejuvenated Pink Steven would lose all Steven's work "filling in" the erased data and be an emotionless recently immerged Pink Diamond. No feelings only knowledge and purpose.
We never see any default form of Pink in the movie because it's well established that gems can't from when attached to something. It can be a bit confusing because we don't really know how Rose "created" Steven, but she obviously left some of her behind while leaving plenty of room for Steven to make the gem his own.
Pink Diamond wouldn't come back. See Steven's gem as a computer. Pink Diamond has deleted her OS in favour of Steven's. He can still access some log files the same way you would be able to access some old files via your new OS on your computer because the only way to really completely destroy data is to destroy all pieces of hardware that carry it.

That's basically what happened in the movie. The rejuvenator can only affect the gem in the first place so it seems like whatever would happen would not be affected by Pink and fleshy Steven being fused.
I am sticking to a theory that Steven is able to choose to die naturally or live forever thanks to his half-gem powers.
If he chose to die, than his gem would become a full-pink Steven, but after being reset, his gem would turn back be Pink Diamond again.
If he/she got their memories back, they could become Pink Steven again.
I hc that pink Steven will keep living if Steven ever dies but also Steven won’t die because he has the ability to choose his age

I think that's impossible, because Pink gave his stone to Steven and, well, she's gone now. If his gem ever gets Rejuvinated during the Pink Steven state, i think what would possibly happen is that his body is just going to go back to his original state, because Pink Steven is already too powerful
I think to many people are hanging their hats on the "She's Gone" line. If you were Pink Diamond, and your mother for lack of another term was insisting you where in there and was going to kill your son to get you back. How would you stop her? By making her think there was nothing left of you and to leave him alone, while also assuring Steven that he is not you and he is his own person. Its exactly the kind of deceitful thing PD would do.

How I think the scene would go:
The rebels manage to get steven’s gem out in captivity, and instantly rush at pink Steven with the rejuvenator, but he roars and they’re thrown back, he moves to fuse back with Steven
Then Jasper spin dashes at pink Steven and slices them with the rejuvenator, pink Steven glitches, and the view switches to a laughing Jasper, who’s face slowly turns to shock
The camera goes back to pink Steven, or should I say, pink diamond, Jasper calls out “my diamond!” But it’s no use, pink diamond is rushing to Steven, trying to help him recover
She starts crying, and Steven starts turning pink, then there’s a flash of light
Yellow and blue diamond appear, ready to fight, but then they notice Steven and pink diamond.
They’re shocked, at a complete loss for words, no one’s fighting anyway, they’re either in shock or crying because of blue
Then as they approach, pink diamond and Steven fuse, but there’s no dance, making an older looking Steven, who’s laughing for joy, they then form a bubble like a hamster ball and roll around in it at the rebels, yellow and blue follow his lead and together they beat the rebel forces, but a small group of the more nimble escape, and start gathering more gems to their cause, meeting a strange worm with a strange deal..

I just realized back when steven was baby (three gems and a baby) if pearl had succeeded with taking out steven's gem they would find out he's a diamond and either kill him or treat him really well, not letting him go on adventures. He would be even more pain if it worked 😨
Hence steven was a few months old that time, I think if they took out the gem he wouldn't last too long if not fused back to him.
I have a feeling Rebecca has a big Pink Diamond surprise we all know is coming. Which is possible if we recall storm in the room. Steven asked his "mother" if she only made him to clean up her selfish and careless mistakes? The "Rose" is upset at this and the gives a very clear direct answer unlike the other constructs like in the town or Gregg even Connie. She says she wanted him and wanted him to exist and if she didn't feel that way why lie on the tape she made? Deep deep deep down Pink is still there. She exists as Steven but her gems magic or power seem to carry her will in ways. Steven is Pink and Pink is Steven but it is shown! While Steven is NOT Pink she is there. In his power. We haven't seen the end so maybe?

Okay I have a small theory (keep in mind I'm at the 5:15 mark)
What if a gem pulls out Steven's gem. Then as Pink Steven forms a gem uses the scythe Spinnel had. Then The Hollow Pink Diamond is formed. After a few minutes the Hollow Pink Diamond comes into contact to Steven and they fuse. Now here is the part of my own theory.
What if once Steven and Hollow Pink Diamond fuse, Steven has a Pink Diamond belly instead of a Rose Quartz and Steven has Pink Diamond's too. AND Steven would had a huge of pink to his hair or a tall leaner body shape?
This is just my thought of what could happen to the SUF series, plus this may give lots of artists ideas for fan art 👌🏻

I think pink is already coming back. When Steven got hit with the rejuvenated, his human half had a half reset, where he lost everything he learnt, but I think that behind the scenes, the pink in Steven also had a half reset and her personality is shining through and experiences are repeating, creating parallels
I still don't think Steven is even in his 'final form'. I say this due to the position of his Gem. I feel that once he learns to shift the position of his gem ~Like Pink did to disguise herself as a Quarts~ He will be granted ALL of Pinks Powers and I'm assuming memories. -Yellow Diamond to Steven- "*I'm sure your memories are in there somewhere Pink*"- That and the sketch of Steven with Pink hair and Diamond eyes that was deleted.

I've been thinking of this for the past week
I think Pink Steven is literally the rejuvenated Pink D, but as she was rejuvenated by a unusual method (as giving a organic birth). The gem was corrupted in a way, not as the show standards but as a file, machine. Gems seems to be a scencient technology most of the times, the Pink Diamond file was erased but not the memory files (cache/extra data)
As Steven is a being of it's own, separated from the gem even he depends on them, the gem is a another being of it's but with their original form and personality was erased, so it's a empty shell with only whatever is the force powerhouses their powers and forms
Steven gives a purpose to "Pink Steven", a body and ego, Pink Steven is a life threatening almost walking 404 error NPC that just sends a response every time the file is acessed through the senses of Steven
If pink Steven got rejuvenated and pink diamond came back...

think because steven wouldn't exist without his gem half, it isn't so much that if pink steven got hit with the rejuvenator that she'd be outline-less, or dead of any emotion, she IS that gem. the reason pink steven has no defined form, is because it's only part of who steven is. with gems, they have all their programming inside their gem, they have their personalities, shapes, everything, programmed into that gem. what i think happened, is pink diamond completely shut her gem down, leaving all of her base programming, ie, her powers, maybe remnants of her memories and herself saved to some remote part.
since we don't know how or what exactly happened when steven was born, but we DO know, somehow, pink figured out how to merge her gem with organic life. so instead of the gem running the program of who it is, who it is supposed to be, STEVEN is the "mainframe computer". the gem still runs, and does its part to keep steven alive, but its growth and current programming aside from pink's powers, the gem doesn't control who steven is, it doesn't dictate his behavior, or what his purpose is. STEVEN decides that. steven is the program who decides how the gem responds, and what and how to be. i hope i'm explaining this clearly enough, the way i'm thinking of it, is like you have a laptop with a hard drive, and all it's data stored,, but, you remove the hard drive from the laptop, and make it into a external hard drive, it can still operate, but it relies on whever it's plugged into to be able to function, it needs the external input to be able to continue to run beyond its base programming, with all its apps intact, but no OS except when it's connected to another source.
so my thoughts, are that if steven's gem was separated from his body, and hit with the rejuvenator, without steven's influence to keep the gem just resetting to basic steven before he learned how to use his powers, the gem loses it's hardware, so it would complete "factory reset" the gem, and pink diamond would be brought back into existance, as she was, when she was first created. i don't think pink diamond ever accounted that steven's gem WOULD be removed, or what would happen if it reset separate from his body, or even IF it would be or could be reset.
but in short, yes, i do think, if steven's gem was separated from his body, then hit with the rejuvenator, i do believe pink diamond would reform.

I beleive that if pink steven would get hit with the rejuvinator it would still try to fuse with steven. Gems come with a little personality which comes together with their powers while stevens personality and powers got split in 2 instead of having a mix because he's half organic. As a result pink "steven" As pink daimond would still feel incomplete and would still have a connection to steven or feel the difference of steven from the rest. If Pink Steven as Pink Daimond fused with steven he would gain pinks powers but not memory as I said before steven divided gem poweres and memory, personality, etc. So basicly Steven would gain pinks powers while not having her memory or form. About Pink steven as PD being able to become just pink steven again I disaggree. Basing of what I said earlier there would be no way of getting pink stevens memories back since personality, memory, etc and gem powers got split into 2 so pink steven would'nt have any memories to recover.

White Diamond does not want/need "a pink diamond", but HER Pink "Starlight" Diamond.
A "reseted" Pink Steven is just a "factory default" Pink Diamond (no memories, no "spark").
-> Also, there is the posibility that ~whatever~ Rose Quartz did to her gem is irreversible.
