I always thought of their auras like this. Pink: Flower - life. blooming. happy. closest to earth, so bottom of the insignia Blue: Water - rain. tears. sad. in the sky, same level as yellow in the insignia Yellow: Electricity - lightning. thunderous. angry. also in the sky, same level as blue in the insignia White: Light - stars. distant. indifferent. beyond the atmosphere, top of the insignia.

Diamond Prime Powers: well considering it is the fusion of all the others, it most likely has a fusion of their powers. Yellow’s Body control, Blue’s emotional aura, White’s mind control, and Pink’s Life control. This would probably give it the power to manipulate all life, or the ability to CREATE HUMANS. Her powers might as well be called Yahweh, considering the similarities to the Christian god. Plus, Steven kinda is Jesus. Plus, their powers all relate to parts of a human. Yellow Diamond represents the physical self, Blue Diamond represents the Id, White Diamond represents the Superego, and Pink represents the Soul.

There's also the references to Pink Diamond in the media portrayals, such as the song, "Haven't You Noticed (I'm A Star)", and also the eerily accurate portrayal of Steven and his problems with the Crying Breakfast Friends. Plus, Rose leaves tapes for Steven. I'm not sure entirely how to explain it, but Pink and media interference seems to be a trend in a way. :o

She can also take control of the ones she's possessing powers, as seen with pearl when she used her weapon, which I believe technically counts as a power itself. But yeah it's totally creepy, that's why I love it.
Pink Diamond creating diamond shards wasn’t because of a special ability, but because she applied enough heat [with her breath (2000 degrees Fahrenheit)] and pressure [with her own strength (725000 pounds)] to the carbon deposits on the dirt she picked of the ground. Also, if I could choose to have the skill set of any given diamond, I would without a doubt choose Pink Diamond, since she seems like the most OP of them all.
In reunited all gems suffers from different things but saphhire and ruby been together enough(literally 5k years) to feel same things. They(actually just garnet) named this situation as perma fusion in steven movie
I believe it's a reference to the four humors: blood, yellow bile, black bile and phlegm. Some people used to believe that all illness was caused by an imbalance of them. Blood, sanguine, probably represented by Pink Diamond, (also associated with air btw so if I'm right no fire powers for Pink) Yellow bile, choleric, goes to Yellow Diamond. Phlegm is Blue Diamond. Black bile, melancholy, is White. All together, they can present one balanced person. With Pink gone, they are imbalanced. Steven, being half human, is not a pure example of any of the four temperaments and can find balance on his own. Apologies if someone else already pointed this out.

Possibly the abuse from the other Diamonds, especially Yellow's. I feel sorry for her.. And if she only cried just a few times then the case might be her going to earth and crying on a location with lots and lots of pebbles. Probably the case is actually both, but if it is, then she was probably abused by the Diamonds and cried on a pebbly biome on earth.

Also on reference to Blue’s potential water powers (and relations to her court in general), both Lapis and Sapphire’s powers are directly connected to their emotions both in power and frequency.
Pink diamond does have a signature ability like the others, being her spiritual powers (Talking to others though dreams), but I’m not certain how she would hurt people with this ability.
Probably has something to do with the fact that Pink Steven is basically his gem on autopilot with the single purpose of reconnecting with Steven And no diamond is ever just on auto, they all have thoughts and emotions so the abilities Pink Steven used would never actually be used by a diamond also the only way Pink Steven got activated was that he was separated from Steven. All the other diamonds including Pink are full gems so they can’t be separated from themselves

I disagree about blue restoring mental state; I feel she restores emotions. Even though nephrite does communicate, she is stricken with grief and trauma. She was driven back to her last extremely emotional moment. And without a strong mental state to comprehend her emotions, she is stuck in repeat. I feel that White has the power of the mind especially as indicated by mind control, and pink has the power of heart, looking at her ability to connect to gems. Thus steven’s ability to help regain nephrite’s consciousness and form can come from healing her heart; something that is often deemed on the same strength as the mind (people frequently talk about their heart and mind fighting over a decision). The title “battle of heart and mind” which is really a battle between Steven and white, is also supportive of pink being heart and and white being mind. I don’t think the crewniverse would have 2 mind diamonds, and given blue’s extreme sense of emotion and impact they have on others, blue possesses emotional powers.
I actually think Pink is connected to soul, or the gem itself...she is the only known gem capable of healing a cracked gem, plus...when you take into account steven was able to revive Lars and bring Jasper back, you realize it is more so linked to what gives them life...the soul but then you become upset when you realize this means that it wasn't Pink's scream that scarred Volleyball's physical form, but rather pink shattered her and revived her

That’s what I think, they had always thought that they’d shattered all the gems, so it probably has something to do with Pinks deep connections with gems, her part in corruption probably was infiltrating deep into a gem which would allow the other diamonds powers to take affect from the very inside and break the gem completely
I think they need all the diamonds because yellow breaks the physical form white corrupts the mind blue destroys there ability to feel emotion and then pink would break there soul aka the gem by using her powers to combined the other diamonds powers
Well shattering wouldnt be accurate, probably more accurate to say deactivated. The gemstones themselves would remain intact but their "software" would be wiped by the corruption like deleting parts of a gem's AI. It would likely be possible to reactivate them if all four diamonds ever used their powers to heal a fully deactivated gem.
I think the corruption happened because they didn’t have pink if they had pink I think they would have had been able to incinerate all of the gems on earth because if we remember the show the diamonds thought they destroyed all gems on the planet but when they went there they saw corrupted gems which were unprecedented which means they might have done the same thing before but with pink so it destroyed all gems so they weren’t expecting these corrupted gems to exist hope you like my theory this is what I think happened

All the gemstones data would have literally deleted and would be normal gemstones. In simple terms, the gems will vanish from existence except for the actual gemstomes.
I get this distinction. He's not, technically. He's Steven. Not Pink Diamond. Not Rose Quartz. Steven. There was a video on this channel awhile back depicting Steven's personal story being akin to Transgender concerns. The Diamonds want him to be Pink Diamond again. But, he's not. And the Crystal Gems wish he was Rose again. But, he's not. Then, when White takes matters into her own hands, we see the Gem reform and it's neither of the two.....it's Steven. He's not them. He's his own man. They are apart of his past but *Steven Universe* is about his present.

Blue Diamond is my favorite of the four. I just love how sensitive and emotional she is, and how she's like the sort of mother figure for Pink Diamond.
I would argue that their auras reflect personality. Yellow is very short tempered, having that static form. Blue is constantly feeling strong emotions, having a fluid aura. I think Pink’s aura is like the bubble, it’s a shell because she is naturally secretive and protective. Just like how her weapon is a shield, which isn’t actually a weapon at all but meant for protection.

I personally feel the gem creation isnt a thing, but the scene where she creates gem shards is to show just how strong a diamond can be. As it usually takes heat and preassure to do this. This would also support the fire abilities. As for the plant manipulation, that could be part of her ability to give life, so more than healing or resurection, but all the same power of giving life. Which could be why she was so fascinated with humans seeing as they create life in a different way that she wanted to experience.
*Blue Diamond best Diamond.* Edit: I just love her powers. She can literally make her opponents blind with tears and make them break down. She also has Energy Projection which is awesome. Her Pathokinesis is powerful as well.
I think Blue Diamond’s pathokinesis is related to the victim’s empathy, for example, Blue diamond’s aura was based off of grief, which is something anyone can relate to. But it Change Your Mind , it was based off of something that Steven could not relate to. He stated, “I’m not even sad.” Because he couldn’t relate to Blue’s hatred of love and fusion.
Actually, it seems to be Pink's. I mean, her powers are based on Harmony/Stability (either breaking/unstabilizing everything with a scream or healing/revitalizing with her aura or tears). If my theory is true, the rejuvenator returns a gem's "stats" to its foundation, a blank canvas, perfect harmony.
Steven also did a really quick bolt outside of the carwash sometime in season 2 I believe. I've always wanted to see him use his speed in battle or even use his dash to shield bash a gem to disable them without hurting them.
I love how the gem that withstood blue diamonds pathokenesis in The Trial the best is Blue Pearl, who spends the most time near her, and therefore being affected by it the most often.
I think it is defenently POSSABLE for pink diamond to have fire powers since she Made gem shards in her hand. To be able to do that you need a lot of *heat* and pressure. The diamonds have great strength so thats explained. but heat...... you see what i mean?
In real life, diamonds are flamable. Its fun and interesting idea, but I don't think it could work without some consequences. But that could make it even more interesting.

I just noticed that the colour of the bleached gems are almost EXACT to the dream that Steven had, the one where the gems were human and where Lapis was spilling water out of her mouth and eyes, does this have any connection? I mean, Lapis has water coming out of her eyes, like how White Diamond can shoot light out of her eyes.
Side Note: As Rose Quartz, she was able to form a shield, just like other gems. But when WD took Steven's gem, forming Pink Steven, the shield looked a lot more crystal-like whereas Rose's was more like a regular shield. If Pink was able to summon a gem weapon, the other Diamonds could have gem weapons as well!

With the new chapters of Future and the Movie, I consider Pink's abilities to be based on Harmony. Whether it is destabilizing the integrity of everything that surrounds you or revitalizing/reviving/healing it. Also, Spinel's rejuvenator is pink, and if it is based on Pink's powers, it would mean that her function is to return the gem's values to their determined, perfect harmony.

Just realized that your speculation about Pink Diamond having fire powers makes even more sense when you factor in some of Stevens fusions. When Ruby and Sapphire fuse they balance each other out in terms of elemental powers. Adding Steven (who has Pink Diamond's gem) into the mix suddenly creates Sunstone, a fusion that looks like they're literally made of fire. It doesn't really add up until you consider that Pink Diamond could have had fire powers. With Obsidian its even easier. Garnet, Ameythst and Pearl make Alexandrite who seems pretty neutral in terms of temperature. Add Steven? Now you've suddenly got a flaming hot magma lady who can create a giant sword made of pure lava. There's no way that Pink Diamond wasn't the source of Obsidian's extreme heat when Alexandrite was already very balanced in temperature.

I disagree about blue restoring mental state; I feel she restores emotions. Even though nephrite does communicate, she is stricken with grief and trauma. She was driven back to her last extremely emotional moment. And without a strong mental state to comprehend her emotions, she is stuck in repeat.
I feel that White has the power of the mind especially as indicated by mind control, and pink has the power of heart, looking at her ability to connect to gems. Thus steven’s ability to help regain nephrite’s consciousness and form can come from healing her heart; something that is often deemed on the same strength as the mind (people frequently talk about their heart and mind fighting over a decision).
The title “battle of heart and mind” which is really a battle between Steven and white, is also supportive of pink being heart and and white being mind.

Well shattering wouldnt be accurate, probably more accurate to say deactivated. The gemstones themselves would remain intact but their "software" would be wiped by the corruption like deleting parts of a gem's AI. It would likely be possible to reactivate them if all four diamonds ever used their powers to heal a fully deactivated gem.

I would argue that their auras reflect personality. Yellow is very short tempered, having that static form. Blue is constantly feeling strong emotions, having a fluid aura. I think Pink’s aura is like the bubble, it’s a shell because she is naturally secretive and protective. Just like how her weapon is a shield, which isn’t actually a weapon at all but meant for protection.

I personally feel the gem creation isnt a thing, but the scene where she creates gem shards is to show just how strong a diamond can be. As it usually takes heat and preassure to do this. This would also support the fire abilities.
As for the plant manipulation, that could be part of her ability to give life, so more than healing or resurection, but all the same power of giving life. Which could be why she was so fascinated with humans seeing as they create life in a different way that she wanted to experience.

As Rose Quartz, she was able to form a shield, just like other gems. But when WD took Steven's gem, forming Pink Steven, the shield looked a lot more crystal-like whereas Rose's was more like a regular shield. If Pink was able to summon a gem weapon, the other Diamonds could have gem weapons as well!

With the new chapters of Future and the Movie, I consider Pink's abilities to be based on Harmony. Whether it is destabilizing the integrity of everything that surrounds you or revitalizing/reviving/healing it.

Just realized that your speculation about Pink Diamond having fire powers makes even more sense when you factor in some of Stevens fusions.
When Ruby and Sapphire fuse they balance each other out in terms of elemental powers.
Adding Steven (who has Pink Diamond's gem) into the mix suddenly creates Sunstone, a fusion that looks like they're literally made of fire. It doesn't really add up until you consider that Pink Diamond could have had fire powers.
With Obsidian its even easier. Garnet, Ameythst and Pearl make Alexandrite who seems pretty neutral in terms of temperature.
Add Steven? Now you've suddenly got a flaming hot magma lady who can create a giant sword made of pure lava. There's no way that Pink Diamond wasn't the source of Obsidian's extreme heat when Alexandrite was already very balanced in temperature.
