    Continue making all sorts of connections for us students and working professionals. Deeply admire your videos. No one is doing such detailed videos with so much good information.

    sir good eveinig ... does idea statica considers "prying effect "??

    • @puttattjayarajan1199
      @puttattjayarajan1199  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dear Rajendra,
      That's a good question..!!. In fact IDEA Statica provides us the forces/stresses in various connection components such as plates, bolts & welds etc. by a nonlinear finite element analysis. This means that any out of plane deformation effects of plates will definitely introduce additional tension in bolts. This surely conveys that any prying action of plates will be obviously taken in bolt tension calculations in IDEA STATICA.
      Hope that this reply will provide clarification on the issue.

      Hello murad,
      Currently only moment connected bolted connections are covered as they are of different types. However, welded moment connections will be published shortly.

    Can you please show how to get drawings in dwg format?

    • @puttattjayarajan1199
      @puttattjayarajan1199  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello abhinash,
      IDEA Statica is a connection DESIGN software and not meant for making drawings. However, you can export the bill of materials to DXF format. You can also import tekla joint details into IDEA Statica for analysis.
      Hope that this answers your query.
