    Looks good Buddy. My only suggestion would be for aesthetics, throw it on a hot bbq to give it some char and grill marks.

    Help!! Lol! I can’t get my Bronco to hold at 250 ambient temp. I set it intake on one and it gets around 310 if I turn intake down more the coals go out.

      Don’t sweat it you will get the hang of it and if the temperatures fluctuate some that’s ok. When that happens reduce your exhaust and leave your intake where it is. You will just have to play with it some until it balances out. How you start it up is the most important step. Not sure if you have seen my video on starting it up but here it is. th-cam.com/video/6KN6LoWOqNQ/w-d-xo.html

      @@BakersBBQ close exhaust to about a 2??

    • @Cininindy
      @Cininindy 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@BakersBBQ yes I have watched it. I have my intake set at 1 and exhaust at 2 and I’m getting 283 ambient temp 👀

      @@Cininindy give it time once you make the adjustment for the temperature to adjust. It may take a bit but that’s ok. Remember it’s much easier to go up in temp than down so make sure you are staying ahead of the temperature rise during the start up process. Also, my video is just a guide it may differ slightly depending on the weather, wind, altitude etc, so make slight adjustments until you master it for your location. You got this 👍🏻

    What temp did you smoke your Tritip at? What do you set the intake on to get that temp?

    • @BakersBBQ
      @BakersBBQ  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      250*-275* and the intake is around the 1 or less. If needed you can also adjust the exhaust once the smoke cleans up. I know people say otherwise but it’s fine to do 👍🏻

    Tri Tip, the most under rated cut of meat.

      Thanks for watching TS and I agree! I love Tri Tip because it’s delicious and so versatile. Sometimes I cook it steak style to 130* IT and then there are times I cook it Brisket style to 203* internal, both ways are delicious and fun to do. If not already, please hit that like button and subscribe to my channel…Happy Smoking my friend 👍🏻😅
