- Today we are changing the way this bike shifts from one gear to another. It's going to be great cause the bike is going to be smooth on the gears up instead of having to put the foot under the shifter and up click in to higher gears much easier to do. this is you don't need to order or pick up any additional parts just need to have a 12mm socket and a 10mm box wrench. this is going to be the only tools need for the conversion of GP shift now i know what your thinking why??? well unless you ever been on a bike with this setup it's hard to explain but it's going to be my go to on any bike I Purchase from this day on

Dangg I’m so used to going down to down shift. It might take some getting used to go up to go down lol. Definitely the pegs position on the 400’s to shift are off. 400 is a different feel to get used to from being comfortable on a 600 GIXERRR.
Yup yup so so true... you have a bike with GP shift?? Once you experience it for me at least hard to go back to standard shift for going fast just a lil bit of pressure and pull the clutch lever that ft peg just drops and more torque here we come wheelies are much easier to do with GP shift too...

I have one question , when you take the shift panel out should I put in neutral or gear ⚙️ one before I took it off the panel ?!!!

@@jjmax2007 now I know through another video, the handle bar on the right is the brakes and gas, the left is clutch, I'm going to get a bike but I was clueless about switching the gears even the foot clutch but now I know

Umm its not a sticker but it can come off if you look at other videos on this bike it is not in them
Awesome video! Hey j! Is $2000 for a 1994 Honda del sol Si 155k miles worth it?! Car looks nice, the hood maybe needs to be re painted. And the bumper has a couple scratches but I plan on changing the bumper anyway. But regardless car looks alright over all. What you think!?
I would take it as long as ur doing the repairs urself there are guide everywhere how to to fix the car the way you want... evene ideas if they not flowing right now but yea....

Just done this. But now the bike won’t shift into second but still shifts into 1st. I even switched back to standard shift but the problem still remains ??
Oh no what do you mean dose you bike have a quick shifter?? You can't quick shift with this set up just standard shift.... and when you put it back to oem it should work like before......

@@isjl4472 turns out I was just stupid, kawaski has a neutral finder so it wouldn’t go above 2nd gear while stationary, I put it on paddock stand and ran the bike and it shifted properly

Is the engine cover safe?? Yes yes it is safe it protects the engine in case of a slide
