The triangle indicates the front of the mic. With the windscreen slipped over, you can't tell where the front of the mic is. So once you install it, the triangle helps you easily identify the front of the mic so you make sure that's pointing at your mouth.
@ the issue that I’m having is… Consistency… Why aren’t they all yellow? Why are some yellow and some black and some gray? Are they all assembled in Ukraine? The one that I have which is all black with no yellow marking states its assembled in Ukraine
@@VancouverSkincare-u3e I'm honestly not sure why. But that little arrow has saved me multiple times as sometimes they twist from taking helmet off/on and I've caught it on several occasions facing the wrong way!
You have to use the Cardo App on your phone. It has a record audio function. So when you start it on your phone, it records the audio from your Cardo (How ever many riders are connected) and records that audio to your phone. From your phone you can then share it to Google Drive or One Drive or transfer to your computer however you wish. But the audio file is on it's own which you then would sync to the video using whatever video editing software you're using
What’s with the triangle icon on the mic boom?
Some are Colored yellow, some grey and other just black??
The one I got is black

Which inexpensive unit gave you the least problems?
Fodsports. I found all the Fodsports units to be the best bang for the buck.
Nice will look out for one not sure they are here for sale in New Zealand yet
Cardo is giving this to a ton of TH-camrs. This isn’t sponsored by them??
I'm not that important of a TH-camr to get a sponsored one :) Fodsports and others have sent me ones to review, but not Cardo :(
Just ordered mine for 259 euro! Hope it arrive tomorrow
