The rack and hooks is what I have over my stove for my pots. We live in Italy and I love it. The white flower pots are also great to store all your bamboo spoons, it’s what I have in my kitchen.

IKEA sells a froth blender that is battery operated for $2.99 in the kitchen section that is perfect for matcha or hot choc mixing. They also have the best prices for paper napkin bundles in a variety of colors including orange for Falloween! Lastly, under bed storgae that unfold and zip in pastel pink or white are great for storing sweaters or summer clothes and they are so cute, they look really good popping out from under the bed, only $7.99 and they come in two sizes. I could go on and on...

I suggest getting the toilet brush cleaning set. It is silver colored (Stainless steel I think) and has a cover with a round brush that screws into the top cover. It looks really nice, they still have the brushes (I bought four the last time, one to change immediately and 2 for later) It's plastic lined in black and holds the water drips. All easy to clean. Second suggestion for storage is to buy two sets of 4 bed risers, I used the black ones. One set under your bed's legs, two sets if you need taller storage. Hide with dust ruffles, one set usually does it but if using 2 sets of risers put a ruffle on the box spring or support under the bed and then another on top of the springs. Works great and hide stuff well.

Some good finds Liz! I haven't been to IKEA in awhile and whenever I have gone I have come out with lots of stuff. The one closest to me is most inconvenient in that you can't take the carts out to your car so you basically need to shop with another person so that one can wait by the door with cart as the other gets the car to swing by the loading area. This is a problem for anyone who is by themselves with alot to haul.

I’ve had the Drona boxes for years and they’re awesome. We have put really heavy stuff in them too and they hold up. My son uses them instead of dresser drawers. We use them for craft and video component storage as well as a toy box for when our friend’s kids come over. We have all of the old Expedit. I didn’t want half our furniture to be Expedit and the other Kallax (the outside dimensions are different but the cube size is the same) so we’ve had to find units on Craigslist or FB marketplace. They are super sturdy and have many functions. Craft table legs, room dividers, tv stands, firewood holders (we have a wood stove for heat). I love the polka dot vinyl stuff though. That’s totally cute.

ALLYSSON, try using tissue paper, the wrapping kind, between the laundry baskets; or use the blank newsprint paper, the kind one uses for packing to move (if you have it lying around). Either should eliminate the separation problem.

I just bought the $3.99 rug! It’s my new table runner...I have a huge Amish-made farmhouse table-extra wide-and looks perfect with my fall decor! In fact, many items you showcased in your video are items I have...and I don’t even live near an IKEA! I ordered some online!

Nice idea. Love Ikea it gives me ideas whenever I am there but its far from me so I am rarely there. The last time was 2 yrs ago maybe I was there. Sigh. I loved the furniture boxes. So cute. I get plants at Aldi they are cheap there too. i got my Aloe Vera there for my dad. We have a small home appliance store near us and they got garden stuff so my roses are from there. They have décor and just everything. We shop there a lot and Aldi is close as well as the appliance store compared to our Ikea. Lots of the items here can be found in other stores for similar prices. So yeah. Sigh. ty. stay safe. - NY USA 💜

If they will be on a couch or chair where people will actually lean their backs on them, it is worth the time and effort to get a needle and thread and sew the pillow covers together, rather than just glue gun them. Doesn't require great sewing skills. Just a simple stitch will keep them from popping open, as they did in the video during the tutorial.
For the amount of DIY you do, you might even find it worthwhile to buy a simple sewing machine. No need to buy one of those hundreds-of-dollars-costing computerized ones (that end up gathering dust in a box in the closet, from what I've seen, lol). All you need is two stitches: straight and zigzag. I think it would open up a whole new world of DIY ideas for you!

I use the package of cream colored candles in my woodburning fireplace. I don't burn wood anymore but instead place the candles about 9 or more in dollar store glass cylinders. I put epson salt in the bottom of the cylinder and set candle on top. It looks like snow. I place the cylinders at staggered height using a wood riser I painted black. I have a large framed old mirror that rests on the back inside the fireplace. This reflects light. I put faux greenery ,berries and large pinecones nestled among the cylinders. It looks great at Christmas time. Very safe fire. I have also used red sand in the cylinders. I don't have a screen on the fireplace so it is very viable. This is a great idea to give a fire look to a faux fireplace 😀
