I commented already but wanted to add this. I lost my husband to cancer in 2009. In 20 years of marriage we hadn't had an "Our Song" till three years before he passed. Josh Turners "Would you go with Me". After his death I gave that CD to a friend cause music died inside me. I haven't followed anything in country music since 2009 so I didn't know who you were till YT popped up your video, after the ICE STORM that recently hit. I loved how y'all were talking about God as you sat outside listening to trees breaking. Then YT next showed me the video of you and Amber announcing River's passing. There was no " star struck" stuff, just simply the quiet unspoken understanding of loss. Now watching this video, seeing the courage of your family at home and the courage of you guitar player and hearing what you said at the very end of this video, has made me decide that maybe I want to listen to music again. I've watch a couple dozen of your family videos and am so impressed with your strength. I have a strong faith in God but am alone and old. Watching your family has been so inspiring and I know you are helping tons of folks with fresh wounds and old wounds of loss. Now watching this new baby growing inside Amber and hearing about Lincoln's dream about River with the new baby just makes my cry tears of joy! It's truly amazing how even in times of such devastation that such precious gifts come into our lives. I feel privileged to get to watch your family grow in so many ways. Think I'll check out your music...it's time! Thanks Granger!

Woke up in the middle of the night after falling asleep watching TH-cam. Apparently TH-cam had continued to play and when I woke up it was this video.
Though I am deeply spiritual from other cultures and not Christian, this video touched me. Because you are good people, never even heard of you before.
What touched me was like opening a time capsule where you are so appreciative of the end of the year, not knowing what was about to unfold the following year.

OMG!! I’m so embarrassed!! This video popped up on my feed, so I decided to watch it again, because I love you guys!! So I was listening to Granger at the end of the video talking about being so excited to be with his Family at Christmas and it got me a little emotional, so I wanted to leave a comment, when I go to do it and hit the like button, I saw that 13 people gave it a thumbs down and while I’m thinking wow what kind of person would give it a thumbs down, to my absolute horror, I realized that the thumbs down is lit up in blue!!! It’s minutes away from Xmas here as I’m locked in my studio when the Smiths popped up. AND what an incredible video it is......adventures LOVE ❤️ and family with tears 😭 laughter 😂🤣 and a whole lot smiles 😁😁. All of it leads to one heart loving moment. ..... Lincoln yelling “daddy” ...... and HOME. This video was a “meant” to be video not a thought out well planned type of video. But one with a lot of messages and a whole lot of big smiles. Got to love Fish’s smile 😊 through the pain not wanting to let you down. 👍👍👍for being a lefty. When ya began your channel it was just to be about your journey as a family and lots of your music and THEN it took a turn. For whatever reason God changed things BUT though your hearts are breaking He’s using you to spread His word. You really are sharing the beauty of His world 🌎 with new eyes and still through your immense grief your steadfast FAITH through so many tears. And cus of one little boy his light will shine even brighter as you share your commitment to the Lord....sharing your story as you help so many causes. Every aspect of my life good, bad,happy, sad, depressed beyond belief. God,Christ and the Holy spirit envelops me and music is always there! It heals and calms me back to reality and keeps me focused for all my life. As a daughter,sister,wife,mother and nurse the music continues to play in my soul. Thanks to my father and his old record player playing as I grew up, then my own. It boils out of me and I passed that love of music on to my kids and now theirs are raised as well with that love! I found "I Can Only Imagine" just before my mom died and it played in my mind the short month we had her. Then problems with dad another too help him stay focused and deal with being alone after 65 years of marriage at 89. We still turn to music to heal. Love you music, Thank-You and your family for sharing this all with us.💜
