Granger and these intense driving clips always leave me stressed! 😂 We have a chalkboard sign hanging in our dining room that I painted that says, “Find joy in the journey.” I always try to live by that but it’s so nice and helpful to have your sweet family as a reminder of this lesson too. As someone who grew up without her dad in the picture for most of her life, now as an adult I glean from fathers on how they teach their children life lessons. In hindsight, I wonder if perhaps I am more restrained in taking risks. Don't get me wrong, my mom is a great encourager but sometimes you need your dad to tell you, you can do something. God made each role unique for a purpose...I see it in how you both compliment each other's parenting styles. I so appreciate how you share that with us. So I am learning new things, better late than never 🙂 God bless!!

I live in Kansas and the past two winters have been pretty snowy/icy and COLD, even for Kansas. But there is nothing better than going out and walking our dog as it’s snowing or right after the snow stops. It’s so quiet and peaceful!!

I am soo glad i found this channel. This family is just amazing. Did anyone else imagine little River sat next to his momma on the lift as she went and skiied River run..Love how they are making memories with their babies that will last a lifetime. I still remember all the ski holidays i took as a kid!

Hope you enjoyed the Sawtooth Mountains. I have spent a lot of my time up there in the mountains in the summer and winter. You need to bring the kids there in the summer, you would love it! I love my home state Idaho.

Just went through a similar trek on the road to Talkeetna in Alaska. Following a big rig ended up being the best move. The best part was making the journey with my son. God bless you guys.

Think ya guys need to getna few acres with a cabin on it, or build one on it out here in the great Pacific Northwest!! I live on the Central Oregon Coast, in Lincoln City so I get to see the Pacific Ocean every single day, we have streams, a few rivers, a lake, it even snows some on the outskirts and up in mountains. World's shortest river (in the summer at least in winter is a bit longer ocean moves the sand around from the lake to ocean)and kite capital of world.. I'm only 5 months behind on watching stuff but doing it now... every video I end up shedding tears about something I see or hear from ya guys..

linc skiing backwards and then falling is 100% me if i ever try to ski. the only time i’m coordinated and not repeatedly falling is on the back of a horse 😂.

I loved this video. Smiley Creek Lodge has amazing and kind people. I used to go to Stanley, ID for my family reunion until my Nana and Papa passed away. Sun Valley is so gorgeous. I love it there. So glad you all got to go to Sun Valley and have an amazing time.

As someone who grew up without a father, and a mother that is not very supportive. I’ve always had this idea that all parents are bad. Watching the Smith has definitely changed my perspective on that. Grainger, and Amber seem like such wonderful parents London, and Lincoln are very lucky to have them.

Amber, you need to come to New Hampshire. Lot of the same stuff!! Natural beauty everywhere. Way up in nh anyway... That's where the beauty is. Lots of skiing, snow mobiling, hiking, etc. Next time Granger plays there you guys should take a trip farther north.

Beautiful scenery. Glad you got away and enjoyed family time together. I live in Upstate NY so we get a good share of snpw. Been enjoying the weather outside every chance I can get. Thankfully I have hiking trails.in the woods behind my house where I can go snowshoeing.
