This message is exactly what I needed to hear. My husband and I were in the Las Vegas shooting and have been having a hard time. I have been feeling stuck and was drinking too much. Recently decided to quit drinking and get away from social media so much, realizing that I wasn't healing, needing to just sit with the pain and mourn, like REALLY mourn...the loss of the old reality..scared that I will never feel real joy again. I have prayed all throughout this time and really needed this. Thank you. The prayer at the end was awesome and the YEEYEE at the end was the best one I have ever heard.

I work in oncology and this week after hearing that her cancer is back my patients husband said “honey are you ok?” and after just hearing devastating news she grabbed his hand and said “Life doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful”
That will stick with me forever and be how I look at life situations from now on

Because of this episode, I went to church for the first time in over a decade. I wasn't invited by anyone but God. I Googled churches near me and I went. By myself. Let me tell you, there is a reason that I was supposed to be there. God reminded me that even though I forgot about Him, he has never left my side. Thank you for showing me that I need Him in my life! I can't thank you enough. I will be making some great changes in my life and making time for worship

Granger, I could not agree more about finding joy in the suffering. This past year has been the hardest year of my life while I suffered the loss of my marriage and doing everything I can to get it back. Even in the times where everything felt right in my circumstances, I always felt something missing. It wasn’t until I was in the midst of suffering I experienced pure joy at times I didn’t expect it. YOU MADE A DIFFERENCE FOR ME! I quit a job yesterday that I loved . I'm a RN who takes care of mentally I'll pts with all realms of problems. I did not like the value system, or the way pts were treated at this facility . But I made a decision based on my inner instincts I felt God was telling me. I was quiet, I listened and I turned in my resignation. I woke up today a questioning if i did the right thing. I saw your video ( I'm subscribed) and Not only did God speak through you , but it validated ....I made the right decision . He will find the right place for me in this world , and with that i feel JOY ! I love you guys ,

Granger thank you so much I know you won't remember me but this year at the dusty A it was the first time I have ever been able to see you in concert you gave me a high five I'll never forget like we connected I got two shirts and they are our lucky fishing shirts. When the news broke of river we created #fishingforriver and felt we had him on the boat Everytime we went out like a gaurdian angel over us. I found your TH-cam channel and got notified of this tonight and watched it and the truth you spoke was exactly what iv needed this has been a very trying year for us also with sick parents and our own struggles of not being able to get pregnant but through faith and suffering we keep moving every day trying to get better and hope one day to have the joy fill us. Thank you for being a true artist and caring for your fans and community your a role model I look up to

Ever since June I have put y’alls names on the prayer rolls at my church. We pray for y’all every week. Thank you for every thing y’all have done here on The Smith’s. I’ve been a fan of Granger’s since “We do it in a field” I stumbled upon Amber’s Instagram about a year ago. My family has been going through a lot of hard stuff and starting the smiths was an answer to my prayers, every episode reminds me of what a family can be, it restores my faith in God and family! It tore my world apart to see y’all suffering. Thank you for keeping on and still allowing us to see into your world! I’m not sure I could not have made it through that last year with out y’all.
